I do not recommend! I chose the eSIM for Europe, and not only did I constantly have to restart my phone to get internet connection, but they also claimed the internet was unlimited, which turned out to be false :) I ran out of data while I still needed it! I even wrote to a consultant before purchasing, asking how to check my data usage. I was told I didn’t need to worry because it was unlimited. I bought it for 18 days and paid €55. I would have been better off buying a plan from my own operator—paying more, but at least having truly unlimited internet.

I've ordered unlimited 3 days data plan for France, and eSIM worked perfectly. Ordering process was smooth. Easy install and setup, good network coverage and speed. There were no need to contact support, so I don't have relevant experience about that.

Fast eSIM service at Seoul South Korea with at least 25Mbps speed tested by google speed test. Was had a trouble to use the eSIM at Seoul, however the customer support team provide a fast response and helped me to solve the issues. Although it was not a smooth experience for the eSIM service in Seoul compared to other providers, but a strong and immediate customer service which I would give an overall 4 stars for Holafly.

I purchased an eSIM for my trip, followed all troubleshooting instructions, and contacted their support team multiple times — yet the eSIM never activated or worked at all. Despite providing proof and explaining the issue repeatedly, I never received a proper resolution or refund. Instead of addressing the problem, Holafly’s support offered generic responses and long delays, leaving me without service during my entire trip and forcing me to rely on costly roaming from my phone provider. I’ve sent several follow-up emails since returning, and still haven’t received a refund or even a meaningful reply. For a company that advertises reliability and “24/7 support,” this has been an incredibly poor and frustrating experience. I strongly caution others to think twice before purchasing — if something goes wrong, don’t expect accountability or customer care.

One thing I wish they can offer as an option: A more affordable plan with a less of price & a fixed amount of data. Great service, but no easy wait in the app to tell when my time expires or what plan I'm on. I almost signed up to renew and the app did not stop me. Then I realized I still had 10 days left.

My experience with Holafly was a bit of a mixed bag. I bought an esim for Asia to cover me for a trip to Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. It worked fine for Cambodia and Thailand but not for Laos. Customer support was quick to respond but ultimately unsuccessful in responding to my difficulties. It was clear to me that the issue was with the SIM and not with my phone. This was unfortunate due to family issue that came up while I was away and I needed to be contactable. Holafly did not offer any refund or other gesture to compensate in any way. Ultimately the service was convenient and useful but it was not as good as promised by reviews or the website. When it works, it works well but when it doesn't, tough luck! Update I provided Holafly with the correspondence I had with their customer support at the time I had issues. They have notified that they will provide a full refund. This is more than I expected as the service worked well at times. I appreciate their follow up and commitment to customer satisfaction. I have updated the review to 5 stars as I believe this is as much as they could do and more than I expected.

At first, I had problems, the eSIM didn’t work on the first day and I had no internet. I kept going in circles with AI support and got nowhere. Eventually, the chatbot said I’d be connected to someone soon, but nothing happened even after 30 minutes. The next day, I received a new eSIM by email, and once I activated that one, it worked fine. In the end it was okay, but the initial experience was frustrating.
