Holberry House

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is stunning, set beautifully within gardens and parks—it’s just perfect. In the morning, it feels so cozy and peaceful. Louise was incredibly welcoming, and breakfast was amazing with homemade muffins, all in a charming traditional English style. The room was spotless and cozy, the bed very comfortable, and there were fresh bouquets of roses—absolutely stunning. Everything about this stay was delightful—I couldn’t recommend it more!

I was only there very briefly but Louise’s love for the property and her guests was evident in every conversation, in the details in the bedrooms and living spaces and of course the incredible gardens. Thank you my time there was perfect .

I was born at Nannup in 1941 and took the opportunity to take my four adult boys back to where I spent my first 14 years . We stayed at Holberry House on Grange Road and what a joy it was. We were well and truly looked after by Louise. No fuss, no bother, just very friendly attention to make sure that our stay there was as comfortable as could be.|It is very difficult to express in a review the wonderful atmosphere at Holberry. Right in town, but nestle in several hectares of beautifully maintained garden, with lots of mature trees, ponds, birds and the list goes on. We walked to and from an Elvis Presley impersonator show, which was held at the Nannup Brewery. and very early the next morning, I just walked through the town (at 5.30am) and the memories flooded back as I appreciated the wonderful changes for the better that had occurred in Nannup since I left in 1955.|But the stay at Holberry House was just fantastic. What more can I say? Thank you to Louise and Chris for allowing us to experience and enjoy the best (without a doubt) holiday break that I have experienced in a very long time.

I may be pretty biased as my nan lives in Nannup BUT Louise and Chris are such great hosts. It's like they are your family! I came down from Perth to surprise my nan and staying at Holberry House was definitely the place to stay. Louise and Chris are so friendly, I loved our morning chats about tea and work in the mornings Chris! And Louise is so kind- the best hosts you could ask for! I spent my time when I wasn't with family reading by the fire drinking cups of tea. A home away from home! Perfect spot, ask about the chickens in the caravans! (Another must see!) Thank you again for a great stay. Oh and any place that has a resident dog is very important 😍🙂

Such an enjoyable stay in very pleasant surroundings. For us we wanted a relaxing weekend which we had but some of our fellow guests were there for more physical pursuits mainly bike trails. Our hosts provided a relaxing environment for us fireside in the evening and a sun trap conservatory for reading during the day . For other guests our hosts were very knowledgeable on the best biking experience in the area. Great place to stay

We stayed at Poppy's place - my partner and I, and our two children. It is a fantastic, cosy and definitely eccentric home. We will definitely stay here again, if they'll have us! In addition to the shower over the bath - and not listed on the website - there is another shower in a wet room style just to the right of the back door, as you come through the door. It is fantastic! But more importantly, it seems a lot more accessible for those that would benefit from that. It looks new and I'm sure the website will be updated in time to reflect its addition. The kitchen is well stocked and you could comfortable stay here a few weeks without needing for much equipment. The beds in all rooms are supremely comfortable - we all slept so well, and the electric blankets definitely helped as in winter, Nannup gets cold. The bike shed out of the back is a great addition that we used to keep the kids' bikes in. Finally, the house is full of lots of thoughtful additions - from the kids games and jigsaw puzzles to the record player with Abba classics and true classics like the New World Symphony!
