Hole in the Wall Bar & Cafe

Small spot but has a ton of charm. The entire wall is covered in hand drawn portraits. Kenshiro from Fiat of the North Star makes an appearance. Cute outdoor seating area too in a quintessentially European little alley. The whole experience was very picturesque and the drinks were great too!

I really enjoy places where they put personality into the atmosphere and this place has nailed it very well 👌 Very nice little bar and stealing everyone's attention when passing by that tiny pathway to Sliema/St. Julians. The sort of bar that's cool, but doesn't feel like it's even trying. Even on a Saturday night, which is normally full of weekend warriors, it still had an independent laid back studenty style! Interesting range of beers... I went for a weaker session ale. There's a DJ booth, but nobody was on the wheels of steel, instead an intriguing mix of avant guarde jazz and funk were washing over us. Maybe my favourite bar in Malta!

Great little bar! We had a few cocktails in here before heading out for dinner and it was great. Lovely bar team and great atmosphere.

Great little bar - staff are excellent and cocktails amazing (good prices too) - outside seating but to be honest it was so hot a few nights it was nice to sit inside and cool off in the aircon. Food looked great especially for daytime or mornings but we didn’t get a chance to try unfortunately

Great spot for a night out! The Moscow Mule was spot-on — super refreshing and well-made. The two bartenders were really friendly and added to the welcoming vibe. The space itself is unique, with a cool mural featuring portraits of regulars that gives it real character. We loved the music they played, and the whole atmosphere felt really comfortable. Bonus points for the free arcade machine with old-school games — such a fun touch!

Called into this little gem of a bar and had lovely cocktails with friendly service from Erick and Chris. Great music and atmosphere. They even have a free 80s style video game machine to play.
