Our stay at Holiday Home was delightful. The place exuded cleanliness, offering a cozy and tranquil atmosphere. The serenity of the surroundings made my stay incredibly peaceful. Moreover, Vladimir's kindness and attentiveness throughout Our time there were exceptional, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience. Highly recommend this spot for those seeking a clean, welcoming, and peaceful stay in Prague.

I am a traveler in his mid-60s who is not on any social media platform, or an influencer, and generally do not contribute to review boards, but my lengthy stay at Holiday Home deserves an enthusiastic and sincere recommendation. Despite a family tragedy, the hosts/owners accommodated my request to change rooms, and took the time to settle an issue with my credit card payment, with the utmost patience and courtesy. Communication was always prompt and concise. Both rooms were clean, and very well equipped with those little things that (for me) make it easy to settle in and feel at home: Coat racks, shelves and space to hang clothes, a shelf over the bathroom vanity for your toiletries, small table for a workspace, plenty of outlets to charge your iPhones/iPads, etc., bedside table lamps with easy-access switches, access to a refrigerator, and even a safe. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and both rooms had a “blackout” shades. The public spaces were also clean and well maintained. Another reason to highly recommend this facility is the vibrant and safe neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, banks, and other necessary services, including a laundromat within easy walking distance, not to mention numerous public transit lines and close proximity to the Old Town district, and main rail and bus stations. Holiday Home Pension is truly a gem, that I hope you will enjoy as much as I did. Thank you!

This was not our first time in Prague, but it was our first time in this pension. Well, what can you say - all the excellent reviews are perfectly justified, covid or not.||||We stayed there for 7 nights, as a family with a grow-up daughter. This is a nice pension very well situated in a pleasant building in quiet street just few steps away from the St. Ludmila cathedral, and consequently from metro and the tram, and is most definitely a walking distance from anywhere a tourist would wish to go to in Prague.||||The arrival was smooth and seamless. We were arriving in the late afternoon, and received beforehand from the owner a very elaborate instructions on how to get to the hotel and into the premises and the room, including the wi-fi password to connect to in case of any unexpected complication, and the personal phone number of the host. Met the host later (only next day, actually), had a very pleasant chat during the check-in. ||||The room was very nice, although some might find it "small" or "basic", but it did amiably well for three people for the whole week that we've been staying. Ours was on the second floor (two flights of stairs, accessible from the elevator, if needed). A common door to several rooms, the key opens your own, leads into a small antechamber, and thence into the room. Very comfortable double bed for us and a separate one for our daughter, with very clean sheets and good-quality matrasses. Enough of sockets for the most demanding gadget-bearer. Garden-facing window provided a welcome morning view, and the garden itself absorbed all the sounds that might be expected in such a central location, either night or day. ||||Spotlessly clean bathroom with a shower. I had a bit of a nasty feeling about the curtain and was ready that the room would be flooded - but lo and behold - never happened, no water beyond that shower apart from what you brought on you. Garbage was taken out and toilet paper appeared regularly (we did not use towels and asked not to change the ones that we had). ||||A kettle came rather handy, as well as the fridge. Never used the microwave, but it was there.||||We would most gladly recommend this pension for anything from an overnight stay to a full-blooded vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This hotel was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Prague. The staff are friendly and helpful, and Vladimir is extremely generous with advice and recommendations for making the most out of your experience in Prague. His command of multiple languages is impressive! He is also very flexible, accommodating our request to stay an extra day. Vladimir also arranged for a taxi to take us to the bus station on the morning of our departure, and acted as our translator with the driver when he arrived! While the rooms are not large or luxurious, they are clean and quiet, the breakfast is good, and the location is great! I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to experience this wonderful city!

A friend had warned me about the hordes of tourists in Prague in summer, and I've found that to be true during my visit in June 2019. But this hotel is a home away from home - and away from the jostle of tourists at Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. The owner of this family-run hotel, Vladimir, was warm and friendly - he gave me and my travelling companion lots of good advice on transport and sightseeing (he also allowed us to stay till 12noon on our last day, beyond the checkout time). My room (No. 4) was very comfortable, with a tall window looking out to trees in the backyard. There's a small pantry area outside the room where there's a fridge. A kettle is available for boiling water. A walk-in closet reveals bookshelves and clothes rack. Areas of improvement include a somewhat scratchy carpet (bring room slippers!) and a slightly cramped shower cubicle - but these are minor issues that I can overlook for the other benefits and good price. I'll definitely stay here again. Really love this quiet but trendy neighbourhood, with lots of good restaurants within walking distance (The Bistro, Sova, Equilibrista and, for breakfast, Mezi Srnky). Supermarkets and tram stops are nearby too, and - if you're game for some exercise - it's possible to walk to the city centre.

This property is small guest house - pension, with vell equipped and clean rooms. Its location is excellent. Easy access to all Prague sights and events, many good restaurants around. There is no reception, but owners live in house and they have also well working self check in system. The owners speak various languages, the lady speaks also fluent Polish. We plan to come back for sure.

We stayed 3 nights. All was perfect, the rooms are in a silent building, have the necessary you need and wi-fi very fast. In few minutes you arrive near the centre by tram or circa 20 minutes walk. Nearby we found places for breakfast and also a good Mexican restaurant for dinner! The owner Vladimir is a really nice person!

The location was great. Some fantastic restaurants & cafes near by. The tram line directly into town is very close. Some extra maintenance would be great, but you could not ask for a nicer host. Nice & clean room. Clean building. Well kept in general. Lovely area and just outside of the "Touristy" areas so no where near as busy as "in town".
