Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort, an IHG Hotel

Loved our stay and would love to return! It was chilly while we were there but the pool was heated and amazing! Great amenities! Awesome 2 bed room, 2 bath with lots of extra space! So much storage. Kitchen had everything you could ever need! We came with two small children and this hotel was very entertaining for them! Check in was a slow process, but after you check in you are able to text with the front desk which was super convenient when we had to extend our stay due to a flight cancelation. Super helpful staff. Wonderful views. Very quiet room, couldn't hear anyone else coming and going. Will return.

Positive: The pool is awesome! Lots to do and never leave hotel. Good for families. Hotel staff was good and room was good. Negative: Food service staff was severely lacking in customer service. Every meal we had to order standing at bar. All the staff did was deliver the food and we got charged an automatic 18% tip. They were not very polite.

I stayed here Pre-Cruise since it was close to the Port. Great location and I loved being able to see ships in port. Close walk to the beach and Jetty Park. The pool area with slides and hot tub were very nice. Spacious room with kitchen supplies provided. I had everything I needed. I am a female, solo traveler and felt very safe. It could be a bit noisy due to the echo of the outdoor hallways but nothing excessive.

The room is dated. I had a huge gap under my door, and the rug smelled and was very dirty and old. The couch could also use a good cleaning. The main pools were closed except for 1. The staff seemed exhausted and couldn't care. I was also told at check in that I have breakfast and lunch credits and to make sure I charge to my room. We'll, I guess, I was lied to because the food was charged to my final bill. I went at 6 am to the front desk, and the staff told me I was given incorrect information but were willing to "work with me" and give half the credit. How about you just stop lying to customers at check in. I feel I was duped into spending money at their sad excuse of a restaurant that is so bad they have to automatically charge the tip in advance. The restaurant doesn't even serve you. You have to go to the bar to order and then find a seat. I definitely will not stay here again.

From arriving to departure our stay was too short. There were so many activities we didn't get a chance to do. We will be back and hope to stay longer. The room was perfect, cozy, clean and comfortable. The pool area was perfect. Hit tubs - excellent water temp and the jets worked wonders. The tiki bar had great service and staff was very prompt with the food service. Definitely a grat experience.

Disappointing. Studio apartment facing pool area was like a cave with only one window. Music from pool area was deafening and could not be shut out with the door closed. When asked how we liked our room, we gave similar feedback and were promptly offered a 1-bedroom suite in a different courtyard away from the pools - over mini golf instead and the balcony facing a quiet street. This was much better. Except the bedroom had two sagging double beds instead of a queen or king bed plus it had a very lumpy fold-out sofa. Still, we still heard loud pool bar music every evening in our room with the door shut. There is a large gap under the door. Fortunately, the music stopped around 10 pm. Beware the hard cell vacation club program. They say it will take 90 minutes, but unless you waive the green paper contract in their face at 91 minutes, they will keep you 2 1/2 hours and hard cell, hard cell, hard cell before giving you the cash and/or Restaurant gift card plus cash. Do read restaurant reviews before you commit your time. The facility is clearly old and a bit tired, but reasonably maintained. Outdoor maintenance like tree trimming, scissor lifts, trash removal, sidewalk and paver cleaning and leaf blowers are incredibly loud - starting early in the morning and throughout the day. For a place that claims to offer “luxury” accommodations, the tissues and toilet paper are like sandpaper.

It’s 2am, everyone is having a terrible nights sleep because room 1306B has the absolute oldest, cheapest mattress I’ve ever slept on. For God’s sake, by a mattress topper. Don’t put another guest through something like this. I’ve stayed in a 2 bedroom that was great but this is unbelievable. Also, the heat/air handler turns on like a semi engine and wakes you up every few minutes and there is an opening under the door on one of the coldest nights in Florida I had to stuff a dish towel in the crack.. What a nightmare. All that is left is to complete this scary story would be finding out some died in this room and it is haunted. Only staying overnight for a cruise but not sure I could ever comeback to a place that would keep a bed like this. I’m absolutely sure others have complained before. Avoid this hotel but especially avoid 1306B. I’d take a picture. The Staff was friendly and the property was quiet just not my room..

We've been here three times during the last year. We love the amenities when bringing our kids and grandkids. The pools, lazy river and slide are the biggest hit. They also enjoyed the beach, mini golf and arcade. We also enjoy the pool bar where you can order food to eat pool side or at the tables in the area while listening to entertainment. Another added bonus if you're lucky while here, it's a great place to watch a rocket launch and to see cruise ships leaving Port Canaveral. The condos are nicely decorated and kept. First time here we stayed in a hotel type room, which we were not impressed by since it was basic and dark with the only window by the walkway.
