Awesome services and top-tier hospitality! 🏨✨ Mr. Rashid deserves a standing ovation – or better yet, a customer service award named after him. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made me feel more like a VIP than just a guest. If hospitality were an Olympic sport, he’d be bringing home gold! And let’s talk about that Friday Band on the helipad rooftop… because nothing says “weekend mode” like live music with a view that makes your problems feel as small as the people down below. 🎶🚁🌆 Holiday Inn Dar is where business meets bliss and where service truly takes off. Highly recommend — whether you’re landing in town or just need a lift in your week. ✈️🌍

A memorable dining experience! It was an absolutely delicious experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with charming decor and soft music playing in the background. The service was impeccable. The waitresses were attentive, friendly, and gave excellent advice on our menu choices. They patiently answered all my questions. As for the food, it was a real treat. I opted for the lamb, which was perfectly cooked, with crispy skin and tender meat. Delicious!

I was an accidental guest here. What a lovely time I had! The room had it all for a business traveller and was quite comfortable. The breakfast was great and served with lots of care. ||But it’s the vegetable biryani upstairs that takes the cake!! What an explosion of flavour and colours! Every spoonful was different! I wasn’t expecting the tamarind! I just had to do some take away for a long flight home.

This hotel is nicely situated. However, some renovations and upgrades to the facilities would be beneficial. The hotel gym requires attention; of the three treadmills, none are currently functioning properly. The hotel offers three restaurants and a coffee shop. The food quality is excellent, and Head Chef Mr. Parminder is a wonderful and accommodating individual. The rooftop restaurant could benefit from a makeover and has the potential to become a local landmark. Could the music volume be lowered, as guests dine rather than attend a pub?

I visited the Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam just yesterday, and I have to say—it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. My wife and I dined at the rooftop restaurant and enjoyed the lounge afterward, and everything about the visit was perfect. The hotel was spotless, and the service was truly 7-star quality. Every member of the service team was knowledgeable, warm, and attentive—going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether it was something as simple as adjusting the air conditioning or providing us with anything we needed, they handled it with professionalism and a smile. A special mention must go to the restaurant manager, Sourav Bhattacharya. His professionalism, kindness, and deep experience were clear from the moment we met him. He secured us a fantastic table, shared wonderful insights about the hotel and Tanzania itself, and made us feel incredibly welcome. His presence truly elevated the experience to something exceptional. The food was outstanding, the views from the rooftop were breathtaking, and the hospitality was second to none. My wife, who was born and raised in Dar, was deeply moved by how well the spirit of her country was reflected in the service—something that meant a lot to both of us. This is now my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Dar es Salaam, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family back in Canada. If you're considering visiting Tanzania, do yourself a favor and stay here—you won’t regret it.

Identified an unique customer services purely centered on the guests needs. The staff have unique attention to the client. After a moment in the hotel, the staff members showed particular interest to make me feel at home. I became suggesting typical dishes from my home country, after that moment I had a different experience in my stay. Mr. Parminda the Chef, he personally made sure I ate the best from my home. Cassanvu with Ugale, this was the first take me home dish. Amina, Ester were outstanding companions 👏.

Highly appreciate the service the team provides from getting a quotation to the check in time till your check out of the hotel. their response to any enquiry or discomfort is immediately responded to. My greatest help comes in when i need food without onion garlic and its instantly made as they know my taste. the chef is awesome i say. Diya is a true gem of a lady as she takes care of your stay and makes it so smooth and loving. Truly recommend your stay in the city with Holiday Inn.

Ok enough rooms, very small pool (but welcome), good air con, good plug points (a real thing if you're travelling for business), great staff and reception area, below-average breakfast (and VERY expensive for what you get, rather avoid and get your own elsewhere). Terrible coffee. The rooftop bar makes your stay worth all the downsides, and the rooftop bar restaurant food is just fantastic (chapati and curries I long for back at home). Easy and safe to walk around the neighbourhood and explore other street side eateries too. A bit of a mess with the roadworks going on, but that can't be helped by the hotel.
