Lodging options in Moab are fairly limited, but this hotel is certainly the cream of the crop, and while it is fairly pricey for an express hotel, it has been great both times we have stayed here and is certainly our choice for future visits too.
Check in and check out are really easy, and the staff always friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but well equipped for what they are with a nice seating area complete with couch, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning that works great (and needed in Moab believe me!) and comfortable beds. Really no major complaints about the rooms except for one thing - no safe, but this didn't really pose any problem for us. The hotel has free WiFi which is nice, and unlike a lot of hotel internet connections, this one is actually fast and perfectly useable even for uploading pictures to social media. Saves a lot of use of cellular data for sure!
The hotel has a decent pool, I mean it's shallow and not very big, but fun to hang out in on an evening to cool down. Has two hot tubs and a fire pit too.
The complementary breakfast is pretty much par for the course, but it's a decent selection and certainly better than many and enough to get you setup for a hard day of hiking the National Parks.
Location wise, this is super close to Arches (5 minutes drive) which is great. The only minor catch is it's about 2 miles from downtown Moab where the majority of restaurants and bars are (the hotel only does breakfast and has no bar) and options for transport like taxi's, Uber etc. are pretty much non-existent. There is a person who runs a shuttle but we didn't try it. This is of course only an issue if you want to drink and have to walk it - we did, and while it's not paved the whole way it's do-able. The closest place to this is a bar/restaurant called The Atomic, that is only 0.3 miles away. It has fairly decent food and is a good place to stop for drinks too if you don't want to wander too far.
So overall, really great hotel by Moab standards, and definitely our one of choice.
