Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst-Yosemite Park Area, an IHG Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this Holiday Inn last week! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure all my needs were met. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. Though I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, I wish they do not add cheese or ham to the eggs. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience—I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Location for anyone visiting the area!

A nice hotel near to Yosemite National Park. Check in and out is easy with no problem. Customer Service from the staff is pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, well maintained and spacious, there is a large table and enough storage space for clothes. The bathroom is clean and has nice decor lighting. The shower pressure was a little weak but still good enough to use along with the complimentary toiletries. The breakfast is good, but I think they could have more choices, but still the hot food is good. the seating area is good with enough space, best time is early in the morning or roughly 30 - 40 minutes before breakfast closes. They have an outdoor pool, laundry facilities and a gym. Parking is free. If you are visiting Yosemite it's a straight road from the hotel on CA-41 and it takes roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes scenic drive. Definitely worth the drive. Overall this hotel is very good, especially for an overnight stay Recommend!

This is a beautiful new and modern hotel. The pool was very nice and the rooms were very clean and new. One thing to be aware is that while this hotel is less than 20 minutes from the main gate of Yosemite, it is an 1.5 from the visitors center. The park is huge, it is bigger than Rhode Island. Overall if you do not want to stay in the park and want a nice modern hotel, this is a great pick.

I have only given 1 star as there isnt a minus !!!We arrived with a pre booked room for a four night stay we were put in room 108 which is a disabled room right next to the boiler room which actually might as well have been it, for the noise. Also the black out blind didnt cover the window properly and there was a light on all night right outside. We Instantly complained to be told they had no other rooms. When I went for a cigarette at 2am because I couldn't sleep the receptionist offered ear plugs from the next door hotel after offering a fan to drown out the noise (which she uses if she unfortunately has to use that room, her words) after a 9 hour drive my wife & myself gave up trying to sleep and at 4.30am got up. The manageress Wendy was informed of our discust but didn't make any attempts to| contact us. The young duty manager had no idea how to deal with the situation and at times made matters worse by almost smirking. Breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic knives and forks. The food was OK but felt more like a hostel. Then to top it off when I checked out after being told I owed nothing I was charged £206!!! After two attempts of emailing the manageress she eventually replied and told me she would look into it. Ive heard nothing althoung my £206 has been refunded but no apology or acknowledgement at all. The remaining staff were all very pleasant and went outvof their way to atrange a different room for the three remaining night, and they all agreed that room should never be let out. I unfortunately would never recommend this hotel and have my travel councillor not to use them. All it needed was an apology and some form of acknowledgement that this room should never be used. Maybe a lesson in public relations for the young duty manager who actually made the situation worse.

We recently stayed 4 nights while visiting Yosemite. Our stay was easy with no issue. Hotel is about 25 minutes to the park entrance on a weekday with no wait. Our room was ready and clean when we arrived. Many of the hotel guest eat breakfast around the same time to head out early to the park. The staff does a great job dealing with the demand but plan ahead. I would stay here again.

Staff are nice and friendly and hotel itself is nice and clean and great location being close to Yosemite. The only downside is the no vegan food for breakfast or any meal and the hotel cutlery and plates are either cardboard polystyrene or plastic. All hotels are saying that they are trying to be sustainable so I would like to see them try harder with better sustainable food options and use none or at least less oil based options in your hotel. But to end on a good note great WiFi.

The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was the main disappointment. The cinnamon rolls are easily the best part and we're unavailable. There was a tray there but was empty. Breakfast is over at 930 and this was 900. Eggs were very wet and choices were very limited. Not what I'm used to when booking these hotels.

I just wanna do a shout out to the woman that was putting out the continental breakfast in the morning Becky. She was on top of things when she was often times the only one there kept everything clean and well stocked. Becky deserves a raise. Chase and Melissa were very welcoming to everyone coming to the front desk. Nice staff. As for the hotel, it is very clean and the beds are super comfy.
