Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst-Yosemite Park Area by IHG

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a terrible experience. The room was extremely noisy, with constant sound and vibration coming from a nearby service/laundry area. At times, even the bed was shaking, making it impossible to sleep. What made the situation worse was the refund handling afterward. Although the hotel manager acknowledged the issue, the refund process has been very slow and frustrating, with Agoda and the hotel passing responsibility back and forth instead of resolving the issue. A hotel stay without sleep is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability afterward is even more disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel.

We loved this hotel! It has an excellent location on the edge of Oakhurst and on the road to Yosemite. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and we had a good view of the local countryside. The building is modern and clean and I thought the breakfast was good with different options each day. The price was very competitive and the team were really friendly and welcoming! Would recommend to anyone visiting Yosemite.

Positive: I liked the location in town and the proximity to Yosemite. and it was quiet, no party in the hotel room shenigans from the guests. I was able to get some sleep. The coffee in the lobby was nicely balanced, it was not burnt and was always warm. Negative: The HVAC was having issues.

Stayed in August as part of a family trip to Yosemite. We’d booked the 2 bedroom family suite which has two bedrooms and one bathroom, but no living area (which we knew). ||The room was clean, comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. No complaints. There is a small pool out the back which we didn’t use but looked fine.||Breakfast was standard but had some warm options - very crowded and we were early. It felt like the space wasn’t really big enough for the size of the hotel.||Be aware that this hotel charges $12 daily for parking. This was really disappointing-these types of hotels usually provide free parking, especially in the middle of nowhere. All of the three new properties (the Hampton inn, Fairfield inn and this hotel) all charge the same fee and I suspect they’re run by the same company. None of the other hotels in Oakhurst charge for parking and for that reason we’ll look elsewhere next time

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Yosemite. Loved the stay. Breakfast is ample to start your day! Rooms are clean and spacious. Will surely stay again! View from the rooms facing the street was a pleasant surprise. You can see sunrise on a clear day! Thanks

Nice modern budget hotel. We used it as a base for visiting Yosemite. Be aware that most towns closer to Yosemite do not have the facilities of Oakhurst. Great to have access to washing machines. They are well utilised by all travellers. You can get coins and washing powder at the hotel.

Found a good deal for our last minute Yosemite trip. About an hour distance from national park, this hotel has a great location. Plenty of eateries around, gas stations and other shops. Room was nice and clean, but has a weird smell if AC isn’t on. After turning it on, the smell goes away. Bathroom was clean and had toiletries. Breakfast was basic, bread, pancakes, sausages, omelettes, cinnamon rolls, cereal, milk, yogurt, juice, coffee. Veggie options are not so much. Roasted potatoes were served one day during our stay. Service was fine otherwise.

The hotel it self was okay. The breakfast was cold and no microwave to heat it. The hot water under the food not hot. I believe that it was cooked early in the morning and put into a Cambro Thermal warmer.

Very comfortable & clean for a recent road trip stopover to visit Yosemite (1st time). I think this one may have charged a $12 parking fee. I also love getting free breakfast with a room at HI Express hotels...(I look for them & for the ones I can use IHG points at)

This is a great hotel in Oakhurst. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I can see how new they are. They have a fitness room to do some exercises. They have a free and simple breakfast in the morning, which goes from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. They sadly do charge $12 for parking.

First the owner owns the 3 properties here on this strip. They have a sign posted that states there is new ownership... We never had issues in our past status here. The front desk people were friendly but you can tell they were new and not very informed as we've stayed here several times. Just a lack of training. The room was clean but items like towels/soap were low. How can a room for 4 people have only 3 towels.. are we supposed to share?? Shampoo was low but we always have some with us. The breakfast... Or lack there of. It's a busy weekend we show up half hour before it ends. Most of the food was gone..a handful of potatoes and few sausages is all I saw as far hot food and I use hot loosely.. as it was not hot. At 925am there was an employee pulling down the doors saying kitchen was closed! People were scrambling to get last minute items not that there was much to get. Garbage was overflowing, ALL tables were dirty. I went to get a cup of coffee surprise surprise everything was low. Only two lids were left so I got lucky. Usually this hotel has this section fully stocked 24/7. Will think twice about staying here again as the owner seems to have gutted all the help and services while the rates are about the same. And since when do they charge for parking here? I wasn't aware until check in.

This is a standard Holiday Inn. It's nice you know what you are getting. Breakfast was good. The place was clean. Beds were comfortable. It's a bargain compared to the other hotels. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in Oakhurst.

A quick overnight stop at the foothills of Yosemite. The hotel is clean and well staffed. Our room was spacious with oversized windows looking out to the mountains.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Oakhurst during our recent visit to Yosemite. Its location is pretty ideal--close enough to the park while still being in a town with grocery stores, restaurants, and Starbucks. If you've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before, you kinda know what to expect: clean rooms, continental breakfast, etc. The odd thing about this location is that it's in a row of hotels--Hampton Inn (Hilton), Fairfield Inn & Suites (Marriott), and then Holiday Inn Express (IHG). They all seem to be owned by the same person/group because the amenities are spread out across the 3 hotels. The activity center is at the Hampton Inn, breakfast is only served at the Fairfield Inn, and where we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express had... lukewarm coffee in the lobby and a sparsely stocked pantry to purchase snacks & beverages. Requiring guests to walk to the next hotel for breakfast felt very strange, especially since the website makes no mention that the advertised amenities aren't in-house. The mornings were extraordinarily cold, so that magnified my annoyance... but it just felt like an obvious cost cutting measure. The breakfast was fine, but certain things were mislabeled (i.e. canisters of oatmeal toppings) so anyone with food allergies should be extra careful. They also charge $10 for self-parking which, again, felt odd in a mountain town with a very empty parking lot. I'm curious if the respective parent companies are aware of the "shared services" model between what I assume would be considered competitors. My significant other is an IHG Diamond Elite member, so we have stayed at our fair share of Holiday Inn Expresses, and will continue to patronize IHG properties. Our stay here was fine, but it felt like noticeable corners were cut at the expense of the guest experience.

The location of this hotel is why you stay here. But the amenities leave much to be desired. During our visit there were no working ice machines anywhere in entire hotel. They told me to go to the hotel next door for ice. The pool was full of dead bugs and was pretty dirty. But the proximity to Yosemite is top notch!

The good and the not so good. The Good.. + Very friendly front desk staff. Check in was fast and easy. + Room was comfortable. Air conditioning able to be brought down into the '60s. Bad, pillows, and comforter very comfortable. + Nice TV but Google Chrome did not work. + Good location for walking to good restaurants. Smokehouse 41, across the street, absolutely amazing. + They say, housekeeping upon request. Although they failed. + Access to indoor heated swimming pools at next door hotel. The not so Good... + $10 parking fee. It is impossible to arrive at this hotel without a car. The parking lot is completely open and unprotected. Yet they extort $10 from you for daily parking. There's no excuse except greed. + Ridiculously overpriced items in the front desk snack shop. Once again, pure greed. There is no mini-marts liquid walking distance. + Fake competition and price fixing. As it turns out, the Holiday inn Express, the next door Fairfield inn, and the next door Hampton inn, are all owned by the same company. This is very unhealthy business practice, especially for a visitor looking to compare prices and service. In fact, the front desk clerk that checked me and works at all three properties. He said he receives his paycheck from the same company. Overall my stay here was good. The neighborhood is safe, the room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

As an IHG Diamond elite member or if your staying a night or two, Mike and Melissa are as good as it gets at Holiday Inn. Melissa got our crib up to is in record time, Mike helped with getting my family checked in fast and in a professional manner. Great with answering questions and getting needs addressed. I had a double queen suite and one of the better rooms I've stayed at. Nice view and I always enjoy the complementary breakfast.

We had came in late night around 1030 after leaving our air b and b we were dissatisfied with. I had called and Melissa had answered, she let me know the rates. I was in town with a friend seeing Yosemite. We were greeted with smiles and ready to relax. She told us the lay of the land and the breakfast times. She was also informing us on the WiFi. She was amazing and we want to thank her for her great hospitality! We booked a regular room with two queen beds. The rooms were very clean, the bed was clean, fresh linens and comfy pillows. We had breakfast on Sunday. They had bread, oatmeal, toppings, fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, and fresh coffee. I was pleased with the array of options. The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come back here if I was visiting Yosemite. It was comfortable. There was ample parking and the parking lot is pretty lit up. My car felt safe and I felt safe late at night getting things from my vehicle. The location near south entrance to Yosemite is pretty good. Everything is near by, stores, coffee, and gas. Win win!

Five star for the amazing breakfast! The room was neat, sparkling clean and provided a refrigerator, microwave and coffee. The price is right, the bed comfortable, the hotel is new, concierge is friendly and efficient, and parking is convenient and ample. I docked a star because i found the lobby to be very uninviting... Terrible interior decorating, a real put-off, plus it was stacked with boxes like a storage room. Woe to the guest who had to sit n there and wait for a ride or for service. I hope they do something about that.

Love a brand new spanking hotel. Arrived at 1:30pm on Monday and our room was available. Headed straight to the non heated pool to cool down since it was mid 90s outside and we survived a 6 hour motorcycle ride from San Diego. Check in staff was amazing along with any other staff you encountered. Free parking. Tons of seating in hotel lobby with 2 TVs. Breakfast is now at buffet service. No more Grab n Go (yay!!!)! From what I overheard staff tell guests upon check in, the hotel is a 30 minute drive to Yosemite Park.

An enjoyable and pleasant stay. The place looked pretty new or maybe renovated and the front desk people were nice. But I have to say that the service industry is getting better and better at nickel and diming. For a place like this to charge $10 to park in their gate-free strip mall-ish parking lot creates ill will. They do have a very decent continental breakfast which closes at 9:30 but beware - at 9:20, they start bringing everything back into the kitchen and locking two of the three entryways. At 9:29, they are sealed tight. Nickel and diming.

I just wanna do a shout out to the woman that was putting out the continental breakfast in the morning Becky. She was on top of things when she was often times the only one there kept everything clean and well stocked. Becky deserves a raise. Chase and Melissa were very welcoming to everyone coming to the front desk. Nice staff. As for the hotel, it is clean and the beds are so comfy.

Stayed at this Holiday Inn for a quick weekend trip to Yosemite. Made reservations directly through the IHG website. They do seem to be pretty short-staffed, but the hotel seems rather new. Sometimes the front desk staff is in the office so you have to call out or they might be in the restroom... Complimentary buffet breakfast is served at Holiday Inn on the weekends; while weekdays are served next door at the Fairfield Inn. General breakfast menu includes: eggs (hard-boiled, scrambled or omelet), sausage/bacon, biscuits, bagels, toast, oatmeal, pancakes/waffles, fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee/tea. Hotel room was clean. Due to COVID, housekeeping will not come into your room during your stay. If you need anything you can request from the front desk. My only small complaint was that we couldn't find the right temperature for the room's heater/thermostat during our stay. When we first went into our room it was FREEZING, and the bathroom never really got warm either since it has its own separate door we mostly kept closed. Other than that, I generally love staying at Holiday Inn since each room has a microwave, mini-fridge, and Keurig. We generally were out during the day, so the room was perfect for us to come back to and unwind/shower/sleep. Location is convenient - it's literally right before you start heading up the 41 to get into Yosemite. Ample parking in their front lot.

I wanted to give a shout out to Melissa who was working in the evening at the hotel and really helped us out. We had a very disruptive neighbor who was belligerent and loud. She called and asked him to keep it down and he proceeded to bang on our wall to show his displeasure. Without hesitation she switched rooms for us, and although she was alone, she came up and walked us to our new room since we were a bit freaked out by this guy. She also was so kind about the whole situation and apologetic. Even though we didn't have a great experience overall because of another guest, the hotel is at no way to blame for this. The beds are comfortable and the people who work there kind and helpful. The breakfast is decent and the hotel looks new and modern. We would stay there again. One suggestion. I believe all hotels should always have security especially at night. This guest next door seemed violent and Melissa was working all by herself. It doesn't seem fair for her, and for us as guests, when there is someone in the hotel who is unsafe.

We stayed for two nights and it was an overall good experience. Pros: Customer service was good. They were friendly and honest. Breakfast was a plus too. Everything you'd want for breakfast is there. From coffee to different variety of bread to their pancakes and bacon. Room was spacious and clean. Loved that there is enough towels and toilet paper! And there's an extra blanket for anyone who sleeps in the sofa bed. Cons: Pool was cold. The QR code to cast your phone onto the TV didn't work and we asked the front desk, and they didn't know how to fix it, so we were kinda forced (by choice) to rent a movie. But those are easy fixes and not really important to us. Maybe the QR code (a little).

Excellent bed, pillows, shower was amazing, front desk staff, and breakfast (would have preferred waffles to pancakes). Bathroom floor was sticky around the toilet and in front of the sink. Cleaned with a wet soapy bath towel. Body Wash dispenser was empty but sink had a bar of soap, we used that. I notified the front desk that we could not get the shower to turn off. He said he would inform the cleaning crew when they serviced our room. Twelve hours later we returned, the water was still running and the room had not been serviced. No problem, fixed the shower and i came down to a very helpful night staff who supplied us with dry towels. My husband came downstairs one morning to get a cup of coffee and did not have a key to get back in the room. The young man at the counter was extremely helpful when I called from miles away and asked him to give him a key and the room number. Memory sucks at 80! This young man was a lifesaver and I sincerely appreciated his efforts. As we came to the room one day, a young man was walking out of it. As he went down the hall knocking on doors and announcing himself as "Housekeeping," I did not think anything of it. He had no cleaning cart but apparently had a pass key. Later I noticed that my husband's weekly medications were missing from the bathroom counter. I notified the front desk immediately. The next day the front desk explained this man's job was to work ahead of the cleaning staff to strip the beds. (Since we were there for another night, this didn't make much sense to me of why he would be in our room.) So, yes, I would stay here again. Bring some cleaner to wipe down the bathroom floor and a suitcase with a lock to secure anything I ever want to see again. Fortunately as senior citizens, that isn't much. I hope the guy finds some use with memory, arthritis, incontinent pills. Bless him that he feels he is in such desperate times.

Nice place to stay in Oakhurst. We booked a deal through Travelzoo and felt we got a great experience for the money. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only reason for just four stars is the breakfast. My husband got an omelette with a long hair in it, and there isn't much except for bread/pancakes/biscuits for a vegetarian to eat.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, room was clean, common areas (pc area, lounge, dinning area) were clean and well kept, parking was conveniently located and well lit at night. Breakfast was within the hotel on weekends but next door during the week. They had cold cereals and milk, oatmeal, apples, Greek yogurt and yoplait, scrambled eggs, peeled hard boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits, veggie sausage patties, pancakes, waffles, cinnamon rolls, variety of mini breakfast muffins, plain and blueberry bagels, English muffins, wheat and white bread, tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, and cranberry juice, butter, jams, peanut butter, cream cheese, hot sauce, ketchup, syrup and honey.

The hotel is right next to a few other hotels and if you can avoid making a reservation here, do so. Their breakfast is a joke, they RAN OUT of all basic breakfast items. Don't they know the night before how many people have checked in, how many guests are there, then how can they run out of food. They are out of basic stuff like buns, eggs, yogurt, milk. They do not have a working pool, they will tell u to use the pool in the adjacent hotel. Then why would and should we make any reservations in this hotel? Why shouldn't we go to the hotel next door then? And service is equally bad. When initially I reached there and was asked talking to a guest service in front desk about the pool and was trying to find out where the poolwas exactly located, he was frustrated beyond anything like why am I asking him about the pool. He was like just go to the pool in the next hotel, I am like which hotel, where is the pool, how will I enter, I am not a guest there, so I was having all these valid concerns, but he was swatting away at all this concerns of mine. So do not make any reservations in this hotel, please avoid this hotel, and make reservations in the adjacent hotels, because anyways, you will get all the facilities from the other hotels. This hotel has got nothing to offer other than just a room to sleep in.

Early December I booked a hotel for my family (of 5) at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst. On December 22nd after 8 hours of driving, I arrived to the hotel to find out it is CLOSED. The hotel is under construction. Really???? I spent an hour over the phone today with IHG guest relationship agent. 1. They will not return the points I used to book the room. 2. Beside saying "I'm really sorry" they would not compensate me, not even the cost of the replacement hotel I had to find in the middle of the night. IHG missed the most basic rule of their business, stand behind their commitment. They failed to provide me with a room that they confirmed....and would not admit they screwed up. There are consequences to actions....and when IHG screwed up, they should pay for it. This is not acceptable, especially not from a respectful world wide hotel chain!

TLDR: this place isucks - 1000% stay at the Fiarfield (Marriott) next door, literally shares same parking lot Weird brown hard things on floor (?!) GROSS Really bad noise issues - Front desk guy was incompetent + manager is a total douchebag - rude as hell Might wanna bring your own cleaning supplies as well

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst. We were given a room where the toilet was not working properly. We called the front desk and they brought a plunger! I didn't know we had to provide maintenance work at $384.53 per night for a regular room. This is the first time as a IHG Diamond Elite member and frequent travellers that we were treated that way. We won't go back to this hotel.

Great service. Nice room. Just want to thank Chase at the front desk. My online booking mysteriously cancelled and never notified me. I called to confirm the room and it was not booked any longer. Chase handled it exactly as I was hoping and got me a new booking. Nice guy.

Amazingly was able to book a room during Memorial Day weekend. Me, hubs and triplet 12 year old girls and a dog. Room spacious and enough room for us all. Clean, conscientious staff. Excellent breakfast with CoVid careful serving, a really nice young staffer serving each and every person generous servings. Offering to toast up or kids milk, meeting each person's needs. The next morning the cook was not able to make it, so the same staffers handed out ready to go breakfast bags with coffee made to your liking. Excellent customer given the flood of guests expecting their full breakfast. Jazmine handled confused guests with class and genuine empathy, offering coffee and extra breakfasts for the road. New hotel, only downer was the pool was not heated. A suggestion- a little patch of grass/turf for doggie guests. A lot of light - looked like a car lot at 3 a.m. dog break. Would definitely stay again given the customer service given by Jazmine and others, from extra towels to greeting our doggie. Good value for the type of hotel, all new.

Issac at the front desk was extremely helpful. I was having issues with diamond elite room upgrade and Issac fixed the issue in no time.

Just checked in after a 4 hour drive here... was so tired it took me a minute to notice the room was never cleaned. Not pictured is the dirty toilet. It's like whoever stayed here wasn't here long but long enough to make a mess. Maybe an employee? Not sure.

Very clean hotel and I will come back here if im ever near the area again. It's pretty awesome that they serve breafeast for free as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and this one did not disappoint me. Very new and clean and that's what I love. Also, the hotel scent was very relaxing. Love it. The breakfast was great too. No complain

Brand new hotel just 30 minutes outside of Yosemite park and 10 minutes to Bass Lake. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. No cleaning service during COVID-19 but you can pick up extra towels and supplies at the front desk. Bed was great, on the firm side which I like, soft and firm pillows as well. TV allowed hdmi connection so we plugged in our Firestick and the internet was strong enough to stream with only a couple slow downs. Breakfast is a bagged affair right now and my only suggestion would be to have a separate veggie only option available. We were surprised by these little bagel bites with meat on them and ended up wasting food unnecessarily. Really nice to have a fridge. Note there isn't a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs for cooler. Ice is readily available though so it's not a huge deal. Great stay!

Everything is brand new. The breakfast is a plus. The only drawback is they charged my credit card after we checked in with arrangements from hotel.com make sure to check

This is a brand new hotel! Everything is very new and clean and very quiet. We all slept great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location next to stores and restaurants in town and 30min flat to the Yosemite Park entrance. Every morning they provided bag lunches during COVID. Will definitely be back for our next Yosemite trip!

I arrived here to check-in and was surprised to find out the pet fee is $50/night. Highest pet fee I've seen before. I was kinda pissed off because their website was misleading and only mentioned a "deposit". They might have fixed that by now. Anyway, the one star isn't for the fee. It's how they responded when I tried to voice my concerns. I just wanted to let the manager know how surprised I was, and that I thought the fee was too high for a $130 room. They never called me back, or emailed me a receipt like I requested. I think they just wrote me off as a disgruntled guest.

Great rates and very friendly staff. Ben and Tajia were awesome. Rooms were amazing and I would stay here again anytime. Thanks for everything!

Covid Protocols are in place and everything inside was very clean, from the lobby to the elevator & stairwells. The room was spotless and well appointed, and we appreciated the air conditioning and quick internet. Staff was courteous and friendly. We had to check out early due to an emergency, and the staff was very gracious in helping us modify the reservation with no additional charges. Definitely recommended and will return.

It is an...experience... first off, this is in June of 2020. Many precautions are still in place due to COVID. As we check in on Tuesday, everything seems fine. We settle in and relax, but notice two things that we should have paid more attention to. 1. Office closes at 8. 2. Keycards malfunction occasionally. Now, on the third day, we walk in after a good meal, at around 8:47. Tired, stuffed, and ready to relax, we went up to our room. The office was closed. As we try to unlock the door, we realize none of our keycards are working. We call the number of the place, desperately try the keycards, but nothing seems to work. Finally, now the manager has picked up, and we have a sliver of hope that our family of four won't be sleeping in the hallway. The staff are helpful when it comes to food, and very nice in general. The rooms are pretty clean, but we don't know if it's only because our room has literally never been stood in before. P.S. : I am typing this sitting on the floor right outside the room. A tip : if the shower isn't heating up, let it run on full heat for a few minutes, it should get hot. Also, don't touch it when it is hot, because when it gets hot, IT GETS HOT!!

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, rooms were not ready until past 4pm. Though there were enough fresh towels in the bathroom, we found dirty towels from previous guests hanging in the closet in one of our rooms. Cleaners didn't clean the room well and whoever checks the quality of janitorial service does not do his/her job. I was charged $70 upon check in. The receptionist explained that the $50 is deposit for any damage and can be refunded upon check out, and $20 for the parking for 2 nights. Checked out and reached home then I received a notification that they charged me another $20 so I called them and the receptionist told me it is for the parking. I told her that I already paid for the parking along with the $50 deposit when we checked in. She does not believe what I said and claims that their system shows they only put a hold of $50 on my credit card and $20 that was charge today is for the parking. I told her my credit card transactions show 2 charges from their hotel, a $70 and $20. These people are clowns! The water pressure is weak and takes a while for the hot water to flow! DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!

The staff was very accommodating and nice! I had a weekend packed with activities and this was a great home base. Will be back next time I can make it to Yosemite.

Great location with great BBQ within walking distance and a farmer's market next to hotel. Staff was courteous and friendly esp Gotham at front desk. Due to Corona, no breakfast buffet but they swap out food item each day in to go baggies that you can microwave. Each room has microwave and frig. Pool was nice and cold even when temp was in 90s! I highly recommend this place. Room were extra clean and modern with cold air and comfortable plush bed.

Such a beautiful well maintained hotel, definitely recommend. Checkin process was quick and simple, the tv greeted me with my name and room was very clean. Loved everything! There's also the cutest small fruit store next door

Really great brand new hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Covid precautions were very well adhered to. Breakfast was a nice wholesome paper bag of good which was great as We snacked on it all day. Hotel is located super central and an easy drive to bass lake and miller's landing. staff was very accommodating and had a phenomenal service work ethic. My 4 year old daughter and I had a great time, we loved the pool. I even really like the toiletries! Will stay there every time I come to Bass Lake and Oakhurst.

We had the best time in Yosemite and this was our first stop! Hotel was very clean and cozy and the staff was very friendly! Best complimentary breakfast we've ever had! We actually got engaged on this trip which made it even better!

Hotel is clean and neat. I rated it 2 stars for 3 reasons. They should have a non-smoking sign outside their hotel building for at least 20 feet of their non-smoking rooms. The room I rented is non-smoking but I used the fan and the smell of second hand smoke was getting into the room from a guy smoking outside the building. Second, there was a high pitched ringing noise throughout the night. I am not sure if it was from the fan or the ice maker machine next to the room (201). It was not a restful day and night. Third, staff kept saying there was no more breakfast available to hand out when my mom requested but we saw that the staff handed some to the next customer who asked for breakfast.

Stayed here last week and loved our experience. Apparently the holiday inn, Fairfield inn, and the third hotel (not yet open) have the same owners so during the week, breakfast is at the Fairfield inn which was fine as it is just a few steps away. The food was pretty good, big props for having veggie sausages! That was a pleasant surprise. The lady who prepares breakfast was so nice and friendly every morning. The hotel was clean, staff wore masks (except for one housekeeping staff) and were friendly, and I loved that the entire area around the hotel was brightly lit. We did notice someone digging through the trash behind the building one morning when we took our dogs out but we just walked the other way and had no issues. The only downside is that they didn't have any ev chargers but tenaya lodge has Tesla superchargers and the best western down the street (only about a ten minute walk away) lets you charge if you pay them $5 so you still have options nearby if you are staying here with an ev.

A couple of weeks ago my girlfriend and I stayed here. We were exploring Yosemite and needed a place to sleep for a night as all accommodation inside the park were booked. This place was amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. EXTREMELY clean. Very friendly service. Made you feel safe during these COVID times. Each room has it's own HVAC system. My only issue is that some guests did not wear masks, which is a problem I encounter everywhere. Best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. East drive to Yosemite!!!

We had just gotten done with a 6 mile, dusty hike in Yosemite when we arrived. My wife and two kids were covered in trail dirt and excited to be sleeping somewhere with AC and without a bear locker. This place is brand new! All the bells and whistles. Our room has a shower (no tub) with a tub filler which is perfect for cleaning those feet and no less than 7 USB charging ports for our depleted devices. The rooms are crisp and clean. Best of all the outdoor pool is open (limited due to Covid) which our kids really enjoyed. The service is fantastic: we needed to do laundry but were short on quarters (coin shortage) but the front desk went above and beyond to get us enough quarters within an hour to wash some clothes. We all slept great in our extremely clean room. I would definitely stay here again.

Surprised at how exceptional everything was for a hotel of this modest star level. Some places advertise "sparking clean," but this hotel, a brand-new building that's clearly meticulously cleaned, quite literally sparkles with cleanliness in the guest room. I was nervous about travel during the COVID-19 pandemic (the little cabin I usually stay in was booked), but no need for nervousness here. This hotel has comprehensive CDC public safety measures in place: staff wear face coverings, hand sanitizer all around and the building meticulously cleaned. The best part of my experience was the superior quality of service and hospitality. From the phone call with Augustina where I asked several questions before booking with confidence (she was great), to the greeting upon the arrival, the management and staff were extremely gracious, professional and welcoming. In fact, when I called to cite a little sound matter as some guys jumped the gate into the closed pool area at 11pm (it closes as 8pm), I called the front desk and the same extremely polite, professional manager who helped me check in immediately went out to ask the pool jumpers to leave, since it was after hours and people were sleeping. I watched out my window and how professionally this guy handled the three stocky guys who'd broken the pool rules. I was grateful and impressed. I'd definitely stay at this literally sparking clean, beautifully managed brand-new hotel anytime I come back to Oakhurst for my periodic Yosemite hiking get aways. In fact, since the cottages where I usually stay are not rigorously adhering to COVID CDC guidelines, maybe I'll make this my new trusted home away from home for a clean, quiet relaxing sleep between hikes.
