Conveniently located just off the main road, it was very easily accessible. For an Older Hotel, this one has been very well kept and maintained. The pool and pool area, though a smaller pool, was kept clean and very peaceful, despite my very hyper 6 yo grandson. Who, btw, absolutely loved his stay here as well. The rooms were clean, and very nice. The beds were a bit higher than my grandson and I are used too, but otherwise very comfortable. I personally loved that it had options for Sofe and Firm pillows, for someone with neck issues, I slept like a baby. My grandson was amused by the fact he had so many extra pillows on his bed. They even had the only soap I can use available in the bathrooms, I took pictures so I can find the same ones back home, and they smelled amazing. The breakfast was good as well. Though I do suggest trying to catch it when it first comes out. The first day we showed earlyish and plenty of options, but as the breakfast was apparently a big hit, that there was not a lot to choose from the second morning when we slept in. The lady who makes the breakfast said it was pretty well wiped out several times already by the time we made. But it was good. The staff, all the way around, from the time we showed up for check in, till the time we checked out, was very pleasant, helpful, and did all they could to make sure our stay was amazing. Even the other guests that we encountered, was very pleasant and nice to chat with. Despite mostly likely not finding ourselves in the area again, for an overnight stay anyway, I would stay here again. And on my next travels, I will be looking for a Holiday Inn Express and Suites for lodging, or weekend getaways. Thank you all for making this past weekend so great, my grandson wanted to stay longer.

Lisa in the breakfast area was amazing. The breakfast was delicious especially the biscuits. I'm not a biscuit eater but these were great, soft and flaky. I would recommend coming here. Nothing bad to say except the curtains were missing maybe an oversight.

Every staff we passed by would offer a great smile and hello! Front desk, management, and the breakfast attendant were great conversations when they had a free moment. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very hard to get out of the beds due to them being irresistibly comfortable. Only tip, to switch from tub to shower you have to pull the bottom of the tub sprout/faucet. Would definitely come back.

Let’s start off with this… the TV wouldn’t work and all the towels were gross and damp. Then to the big point we booked two nights but something came up. Our two nights were also split up into separate bookings. Something came up for night two and we were told upon check in that the lady at the desk could cancel the second night. She confirmed we wanted it cancelled and we said yes please. Come to today we were billed as a no show… how are you going to tell me that you would cancel a night and then bill it as a no show? That’s beyond dumb and I would like to know why we were lied to by your employees… Seems a little bit scammy to me honestly.

Fyi if you like to sleep cooler then dont stay here. They have the thermostat locked where it doesn't go below 68 degrees. Specially when heat index is 105 outside. Hampton Inn next door can be turned down as low as you want it!

Lobby,Halls and Elevator smelled fresh and clean eventhough it's a dog friendly hotel!! Beds were very comfortable!! Rooms were very clean!!

Too close to the highway and train tracks make for a noisy stay. The rooms were good and water pressure in the showers were awesome. But if you need a quiet nights sleep, stay somewhere else.

Yelp
I recently had the misfortune of staying at thus Holiday Inn in Pryor, and it was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the management of this place was abysmal. First and foremost, the staff's treatment of guests was absolutely appalling. I was met with indifference and a complete lack of professionalism. It seemed like they couldn't care less about the guests' comfort or satisfaction. I was treated as nothing more than an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. The language used amongst employees was also very inappropriate when young children are present. To add insult to injury, the pool, which was a significant factor in my decision to stay here, was not functioning properly. It was an absolute disappointment to discover that it was out of order during my entire stay. The management had the audacity to lie about it, claiming it would be fixed soon with a different excuse every time, but it never was. Such dishonesty is inexcusable. The overall lack of customer service and care at this establishment is truly astonishing. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that our comfort and satisfaction were not a priority. The poor management, maltreatment by the staff (who wore tie dye shirts and sweat pants I should add), and the broken promises regarding the pool have left me deeply disappointed. I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this Holiday Inn to think twice. There are plenty of other options in the area that would provide a far better experience just right down the road. Save yourself the frustration and choose a hotel that values its guests and upholds its promises.

Yelp
It has a lot of mold issues that are just being covered up and not taking care of . The hotel needs to be shut done and redone for its employees and customers health.

Yelp
You would easily see this hotel off of the road right after the Denny's if you notice it. It is and okay hotel with friendly front desk people. This hotel has a little indoor pool with a small spot type attachment to it. The ice machine is located on the first floor, there is not an ice machine on the second floor I do not know about the floors above. They have a decent breakfast bar type and is complimentary with stay and I was pretty much pleased with the selection for the guests. One day was scrambled eggs alternately and the other day a pan of small omelets . You also be rationed with three choices of cereals, Bagels, juices and coffee. A decent way to start out a day before work or travel with freebies. The only minor setback which was noticeable very strong musky odor in the room of dampness but that is about to get. I entered my room and was greeted with a pretty clean restroom, microwave, refrigerator and of course television and free Wi-Fi. I would not mind staying here again since the company paid for my rooms but for the same price I found out we could have gotten the same room rate at the casino 30 miles away @snickering

Yelp
I was looking for some guidance on hotels in the area and Brenda was a DELIGHT! She answered every question and calmed all of my concerns. She was more than pleasant and represented the hotel with professionalism and heart. I really appreciated all of her help and cannot wait for stay in the near future! Thank you again Brenda! K. Yelp
Stayed here while passing through. Very pleasant stay and seems to be recently remodeled, although a little maintenance wouldn't hurt, some cabinet doors in our room needed to have the hinges redone but not a big issue. Front desk couldn't be more helpful, pleasant and friendly. We stayed in a King suite and it had adequate room for us and 2 others if need if need be since it had a couch that pulled out to full size bed. Comfy king bed with fluffy pillows, mini fridge, small microwave, Keurig coffee maker, table to eat your food. Nice hot showers with soap and shampoo dispenser. Only issue is little lighting in the bathroom, needs better lighting or makeup mirror with light for the women. This Hotel also has small snack store for misc chips, candy and drinks, has fitness center, pool, hot tub and behind the hotel has a cabana with a grill nearby. Definitely recommend staying here.

Yelp
Pretty much your standard holiday inn express in a older setting. But this one need some updates along with a slightly better cleaning crew! It was very dirty and definitely has seen better days. The bathroom was nasty with mold everywhere and the room was quite dirty and it looks like housekeeping only vacuums the same route every single time.

Yelp
Terribly disappointed. Usually stay at the new Hampton hotel next door. This Holiday Inn is for you if you like: What seems like a converted Super 8 Spiders in your bed. Yes more than one. Spider bites A AC unit that is right out of the 60's. A wall mounted controller? Why bother when you can copy the systems that Motel 6's use? Pubic hairs in your bed. Yes. Sheets weren't changed. NEVER AGAIN. Spend an additional $20 and stay at a NEW hotel right next door.

Yelp
You probably came here because you are working as a contractor at a plant or because you just so happen to like living in a small town. Good luck finding this place. As of Sept 9, 2011, Google map can not find where this hotel is. When I used Yelp to "View map" it couldn't located it. The hotel is pretty small and there are only four floors. It comes with the standard gym (with free weights), pool, computer room, and free express breakfast. Oh, and free cookies at the front desk! The service here is OK. I rather not talk about it now until I leave this joint... so I'll come back to it later. My room is also faced next to the busy road and I can hear cars always passing by. It's not too bad though, its about the same noise level as my AC unit. But what is kind of loud is when the train passes by and uses it's horns. This happened about three times last night and woke me up each time. It is almost a daily occurrence but you get used to it. Walmart is only about 3-4 miles down the same road. Same goes for McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subways, Carls Jr., and some other restaurants. There is also an Amish Cheese shop close by so that's something a little interesting to check out. Overall, considering how small and old this town is you probably aren't going to find any better Hotel near here. There is a Comfort Inn next store but not sure how that place is. QUICK NOTES: - The WIFI is SLOW and takes a long time to connect. It takes me about 10-15 seconds just to log into my mail box. (Update: during low occupancy the internet speed isnt as bad. When I was here the speed was measured at 5 Kbps) - The scrambled eggs have a Greek yogurt texture and doesn't taste like scrambled eggs. It practically melts in your mouth. I think its because it is from a powder. - The shower curtains are design so that the bottom fold tries to fall out of the shower causing water leak on the floor. This is because the tub is rectangular and the curtain hanger is curved outward. - The TV is not HD and the remote is not responsive. There is also no HBO (yet they provide an HBO pamphlet) - The water spa has been out for probably over two weeks. (*Update: The water spa has been out for over a month since I have been there. The only fix they put was a new sign that says it's broken) - A train passes by and sounds it's horn every night and will wake you up - The road is not on a map (but not too hard to find either).

Yelp
In the past, this was a nice place to stay. We stayed using points and cash recently and were extremely disappointed. The hotel is run down and disgusting. The first room we were put in was a Kids Suite. As we entered we noticed food and candy on the tile floor. The ottoman in front of the chair was very worn and should be trashed. I cannot imagine anyone making the decision to leave it in the room in its current state. There were pieces of it on the floor. The kids area had dead and live bugs, the TV had no mount and was leaning on the wall atop the tv stand. There was no gaming system as the description promised and the tv had no satellite or cable reception. There were screws hanging out of the bunk beds and the beds were very beaten up and worn. The bathroom had live and dead beetle/roach like bugs in it. We killed the live ones and after housekeeping came the next morning the dead bugs were all still there. The pool was dirty with lots of stuff in the bottom of the pool. The pool area has been halfway painted and left unfinished for who knows how long. We tried to eat breakfast but the flies and gnats were swarming the food and the food appeared old and definitely over cooked. We overheard the kitchen workers complaining about all the flies in the kitchen. We also heard them discussing how other hotel workers were coming into the kitchen at night and doing whatever they please and they don't know what they've touched. This was between the times when they were all outside smoking with housekeeping. We've concluded that's why the rooms aren't clean either. We always stay at IHG Hotels and we were shocked that this hotel has deteriorated as much as it has without something being done. Pass up this location and opt for another. There's a new Hampton next door and a new is being constructed by Walmart, I would choose one of those.

Yelp
Poorly managed right now. No towels were even clean for the pool and young kids seem to maintain the place with little idea as to what is going on. No tissue in the bathroom and unkept pool area. Whoever decided to tile the pool area isn't very smart as kids were slipping and falling. Breakfast was mediocre. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I've stayed at much better for less

Yelp
This Holiday Inn is located on the far left hand side of a street full of two other hotels, a Denny's and an Italian restaurant called Mia's. They do offer truck parking with a dirt lot out front (only one truck can fit comfortably, though) and in the back. They do NOT offer a trucker discount. It is very easy access off of the highway and has a Walmart three miles down the road. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw that they had decorated completely for Valentine's Day. They were even giving out small treats. They have guest laundry with two washers and two dryers. All are pretty new and worked well. They also offer detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets with change. The free breakfast was actually pretty good. They offered omelets (pre-made and tasted a bit like cardboard), sausage, biscuits (no gravy!), muffins, bagels, toast, waffles, fruit (bananas and oranges), chocolate and regular milk, coffee and tea! They had plenty of tables and had flat-screens broadcasting the news. The beds were nice and firm, but comfortable. They include 5 pillows. The air conditioner worked very well and kept us extremely cool (not like we needed it in February). The room came with a desk and rolling chair, a reading chair with ottoman, microwave, and a mini refirgerator. There was no HBO even though it was advertised and the channel selection was awful. We had about 23 channels and three of those didn't work. We were also not able to connect our Xbox 360 because there were no HDMI hookups in the back. The shower had great water pressure but like the other reviewer said, the shower curtain issue made a huge mess on the floor. WIFI was very fast and we had five bars our entire stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds and stores and restaurants within driving distance will have us returning the next time we're in Pryor Creek. Skip Mia's next door. Very expensive!

Yelp
The desk staff was friendly. The bathroom was not clean. There was a huge amount of curly hair on the floor behind the bathroom door and under the sink. I noticed it late, after my first night. I asked the housekeeper to clean the bathroom floor the next morning after I left for the day. I noticed the hair was still hanging out in the floor when I returned. I made sure the housekeeping staff was aware of the dirty bathroom, again, the next morning before I checked out. Gross. Just gross.

Yelp
After reading several ehh reviews, we decided to give this HIE a chance. Staff welcomed us with a welcome bag, room was super clean and extra large, and breakfast was great. We stayed two nights visiting family and was greeted each time we came back in. We definitely will stay there again the next time we go back.

Yelp
We recently spent two weeks here due to my husband's work and will be using the same hotel on our next stay. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. We couldn't figure out how to get the shower working at first but a quick call to the desk took care of that, ha, ha. If we had read the info on the nightstand we would have known. The morning breakfast buffet was very good and the ladies who work it, Martha and Debbie, were very pleasant and helpful each morning. Our only disappointment was that appears to out number bacon most mornings and we love bacon! The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and great pillow choices, both soft and firm. The best thing about our stay was the house keeping staff. They were very helpful took great care of us! We used maps gps on our iphones and had no trouble finding the hotel from the Tulsa airport.
