Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernal - Dinosaurland by IHG

Holiday Inn Express should be extremely embarrassed about this location. They’ve been under construction here for more than a year, but do not tell people that when a reservation has been made. The pool, spa, and fitness center are all out of commission and have been for a long time. There’s a completely totaled vehicle placed right by the back door that must belong to someone who works here. There are little gnats flying around everywhere in the breakfast area. The first floor rooms and the bathroom on the first floor are out of commission. I was here for five days and all of the half-done construction was not touched at all, and there were no signs of any workers trying to advance the progress of the construction. The card keys stop working nearly every day and have to be reset. The people who clean the rooms each day don’t restock the coffee supplies. The list goes on and on and on and on of all of the things wrong with this place. I’m a seasoned traveler of over 35 years traveling, and I’ve come to expect a certain level of quality from Holiday Inn Express. I’ve never seen one this bad off. There are numerous other hotels in Vernal to stay and I would highly recommend picking any one of them except this one. I would’ve moved to another hotel immediately when I arrived if it hadn’t been for my company’s booking system having me locked into this one so that I could not alter the reservation.

This hotel has been very nice to stay at. it is centrally located and close to the conveniences that I use when I am in town. The hotel has been under construction lately but the staff and crews have done a really good job of keeping the public areas clean and orderly. It is always quite and comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying at the Vernal Holiday Inn Express.

Where to start? My stay at this hotel was phenomenal! I’ve stayed at several hotels, and this place is one of the best hotels in terms of service. The staff is Incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is great and loved the complimentary breakfast. Was happy to see a clean breakfast area with lots of variety. I will be staying at this hotel in the future.

The property was going through renovations but it was very quite. I did not hear any noise. The new beds were comfortable. The checkin/out was smooth. The rooms were refreshed with new carpet and new furniture. The room had modern look with new furniture / equipment and I loved it . I would definitely come back and stay

Love, love, LOVE this hotel! The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is amazing (bagels, pastries, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, hot oatmeal, a variety of juices, milk, fresh fruit) but the star of the breakfast is the warm, melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls with a cup of coffee! The parking is also included. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends, and would be happy to stay here again!

Even though they are under construction and are working hard to remodel this hotel, they did a lot to try to accommodate the guests. The guest rooms are finished and they are beautiful. The hard part was the lobby was pretty much a mess but they were making do. I know they've been at this for a while. They need to get done in the next few months to stay afloat.

We stay at Holiday Inns all over- this was by far the hardest stay. There was lipstick on our bedcover, and pillow as well as dust all over- I know they're under construction but it was a lot. With dried gum (several pieces on the top of a headboard). I was very cautious as the caution tape going down one stairwell was torn- it took us right into a construction zone with the door propped open at 10 pm when no work was being done. I generally have liked this hotel in the past- no construction was listed when we booked- and we were never notified. Very frustrated stay!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I only had one issues and they worked diligently to resolve it. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend it to anyone going to vernal.
