The hotel us alittle outdated, and in need of new furniture, rugs, etc. But it was also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The cleaning staff and front desk personnel were very friendly. On a special note, my wife left some expensive jewelry on the nightstand and didn't realize it til we were almost home. We called the front desk and they immediately sent their security to the room to see if the maids had found the stuff....which they did, and our local relatives were able to retrieve it for us. Kudos to the management and staff for fostering an honest workforce.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Warwick-Providence (Airport) was average. The location is extremely convenient—just a quick 4-minute ride to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, or you can easily walk via the nearby skywalk. The train station is also just a short stroll away, making it ideal for travelers. That said, the hotel itself felt a bit run down. While the breakfast area looked clean and orderly, the condition of my room was disappointing. It was noticeably dirty, with visible stains on multiple surfaces. There was no shampoo or soap provided, and although I could have requested them, I was in a rush. Most concerning were what appeared to be mouse droppings behind the fridge and in other areas of the room. Hopefully this was a one-off issue, and future guests will have a cleaner, more comfortable experience.

We had an awful experience at this Holiday Inn. When we arrived, the room had bugs, there was urine on the toilet seat, and the shower didn’t work. We were traveling with a sleeping baby, and despite the inconvenience, they moved us to another room after claiming they had inspected it. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. There were still bugs, the shower still didn’t work, and the whole room had a strange, unpleasant smell. For a hotel brand like Holiday Inn, this was completely unacceptable. We expected basic cleanliness and functionality, especially with a baby in tow. Would not stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately cannot recommend it. The room I was given was clearly used and not properly cleaned. When I brought it up to the front desk, they sent someone to inspect it—but that person didn’t seem to understand what a clean, unused room should actually look like. After some back and forth, the front desk agent, Tim, took a deep breath, visibly becoming nervous or losing patience, and “promised” me that the room was clean and hadn’t been used. That promise was completely false. It was obvious the room was not properly prepared for a new guest. Very disappointing experience. I expected better.

This was my first time staying in a Holiday Inn Express. The room was big. It had two queen size beds. The mattresses were very thick and very comfortable! Four pillows on each bed, 2 soft and 2 firm. The TV was quite small in comparison to the rest of the room. The bathroom was small, but it was great having Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner available in the shower. The towels weren't that soft and that was surprising, but you get plenty of them. There is a Keurig in each room with an assortment of coffee and tea. There is a good size mini fridge to keep things cold. The AC works very well. The only bad thing was an empty pod of tea that the maid missed. It had a hole poked in it from the Keurig. After we called downstairs, someone came up with an assortment of coffees and teas to replace it. The staff was always very courteous and friendly. Free hot breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30. Hot pork sausage as well as chicken sausage. Scrambled eggs, home fries, a variety of danishes. Cereal, oat meal, bread and bagels, pancakes, yogurt. A variety of different juices, along with exceptional coffee, tea. Checkout is at 11am. My friend and I were late because we were talking and hadn't seen each other in a while. The woman at the front desk said don't worry about it. I will definitely be coming back to this specific Holiday Inn.

I took an extra day after our annual company conference, to see some of the local sights on my bucket list. I used my IHG Rewards Club Points. The electronic room keys worked well. My room was 62 degrees F upon arrival, so I had to turn-up the thermostat, where the HVAC ran continuously to maintain 70 degrees F. There was not much hot water for the shower, and it took about 2-3 minutes took get warm water. Also, the bathtub drained very slowly, so it needs to be cleaned out. WiFi signal made a good connection and I was able to accomplish my work. The lamp outlet had been found pulled out of the lamp base, which was held only by the wiring. The hotel staff took note of these problems.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites: Warwick-Providence (Airport) for the USSSA Hall of Fame dinner, and I must say, both the event and our stay were exceptional. We received a discounted room rate due to the event, which was a pleasant surprise. Due to high demand, some of our group had to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites because there were no more rooms available at the Crowne Plaza where the event was held. One of the highlights was the courtesy shuttle service to the event. It was incredibly convenient and made our experience even more enjoyable. The shuttle was punctual, and the driver was friendly and professional. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express for anyone attending events or simply looking for a great place to stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

Google
Everything about our stay fit our needs. The staff from start to finish was warm and friendly, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The only thing holding back from complete five star was that the bedroom had a slightly worn feel to it with peeling veneer here and there and upholstery that looked well-used. That being said, I would certainly stay here again due to its location for flying into Providence airport, friendly staff, and excellent mattress for a good night sleep.

Yelp
Went on a staycation for the night for my birthday. We wanted to be close but not home! Chose the Holdiay Inn as it was close to where we would do dinner. We got checked in quickly and went to our room. The room was very clean.. no complaints . Bed was comfortable, the front desk was able to give us more towels. The pool does require a separate key that you need to get from the front desk. We would not have known if we didn't ask. It was very quiet while there, which on a holiday weekend could go either way. Hot breakfast was included, it was alright for a complimentary breakfast. Check out was seamless.

Yelp
Kids are running up and down the hall right now, screaming at the top of their lungs. And although the site stated they had laundry services, they don't. There's more, I'm just really sleepy from working 12hr days. To be continued... I have to say that the front desk staff is wonderful!

Yelp
If you know me, you know that most of my reviews are usually three or four stars and higher; unfortunately, I can't give this hotel three stars because of the various issues we had here. We were in room 401 and it was a nice corner room - it had two windows instead of one. On the day we arrived, in September, it was a little chilly out, so we tried to turn on the heat; unfortunately, we immediately noticed that the heat wasn't working. In addition, the hotel uses radiative heat and A/C; at first we thought our thermostat was just broken. To the hotel's credit, when I called downstairs to ask about this, they immediately sent up an engineer who tinkered with the heat for a bit and then said that the radiator was missing a wire or something like that. He said that they didn't have any other rooms available that night but they could put us in a new room in the morning. In the morning, I talked to Sophie (Sofie?) at the desk downstairs, and she gave me keys to room 305, assuring me that the heat worked in that room. Unfortunately, when I opened the door to the room and tried the heat, letting it run for a good 15 to 20 minutes, the temperature in the room had not increased, aka the heat didn't work. In addition, there was also a bee or wasp buzzing around inside the room, near the drapes, so we decided not to switch rooms. The hotel offered to get us a different room but at that point I was majorly fed up. They also offered me 3,000 IHG points, which I accepted, but that's about $30, and doesn't accurately compensate us for having no heat for the past 4 days - luckily, the weather has been on the hotter side for Sept/Oct, and we've been running the fan and AC instead. Other than that, pros and cons - Pros: -very close to the airport, it was actually like a one-minute drive -The bed is extremely comfortable although it shakes a bit; my fiance thinks it's a king bed on a queen mattress frame -every standard room or at least every standard king room has a couch -free hot breakfast daily, we've indulged in it every other day and they have things like bacon, eggs, yogurt, even chocolate milk -does have a pool although we have not used it -the Wi-Fi is very fast when it works. Sometimes it takes a few tries to connect, at least on my phone and iPad Mini -Ample parking -Walls are pretty soundproof as others have mentioned here, although one time while in the bathroom I did hear someone next door on the phone with the front desk asking if the hot water could be fixed, see below for more info on that... -I got a little goodie bag when I checked in, probably because I am IHG Silver since I have the credit card. It had a bottle of water, a bag of chips, and a bag of Swedish Fish in it. -rooms have microwaves and minifridges Cons: -another big con that I did not mention before is that we haven't really had hot water either. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the water to get hot so usually I've been taking a bath and then leaving it on for my fiance so that he will have a hot shower, or vice versa. I love taking a hot shower or bath at the end of the day to relax and I can't even do that here. -toilet technically worked but was a slow flush - so a few times I was worried it was clogged, but I just had to flush it twice (it didn't flush everything in it, including some TP) Last year we stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick and although we had some minor issues with that hotel as well, they were definitely not as major as this one. Because of that, unfortunately I cannot recommend it, hence my two-star rating. The staff did try really hard to make things right which is why this is a two-star review and not a one-star.

Yelp
Solid WiFi Decent breakfast Buffet (hot and cold items) Down from a Dollar Tree and next to the interstate but without the noise. Remodeling needed. Especially at this price point.

Yelp
my husband and i were leaving next day from pvd, so without a hustle , we decided to stay one night near by this hotel. oh boy oh boy, breakfast starting at 6:30! we have to be at airport before then. So, no useful. The room was $397, yet; smelled musty, and felt dump as we entered . The headboard of the bed had a big ugly scratching , Not even try to hide or anything!. The bathroom tub was filthy mold and cracked seal on the wall. The coffee I wanted to have a strong ones, so my husband ask for it, they didn't even have one ! One good thing was a refrigerator but the door was not even closed..... We were quite unpleasant but, for one night we didn't make any noise, but anyone who is thinking to book this hotel, maybe think again for the price!

Yelp
Holiday Inn Express is my normal choice for hotels. I chose this one because it was close to the airport. Very nice looking property. We flew in early around 10am, I had put in the comments we'd like early Checkin if available. As silver members we normally get that. I work in the hotel field. I know that was early. But I still stopped to see if they knew about what time rooms would be ready and we would go grab some food and hang out. I hadn't even gotten the full sentence out when the front desk clerk( an Asian lady) cut me off and rudely said MAAM we still have guest checking out from last night. I said I'm aware of this I was just stopping to check the time . I did call first but was placed on hold a long time so we swung by. She never asked my name or anything. I came back around 1 and just waited in the breakfast area. We met the wonderful lady who works in the kitchen. Had a wonderful conversation with her. I would hire her immediately to work at my resort . Room was spacious. We killed a couple spiders while there and also the tub did not drain . I reported this in the text they send asked how our accommodations and never heard from them. I honestly do not think I will return to this hotel . This hotel does offer a hearty breakfast and a shuttle

Yelp
I am a bit upset with the marketing and customer service. The images online do not show the gym in great detail or the pool, however, when I called the customer service line to double check that there was in fact a gym WITH weights they replied, "yes." This hotel does NOT have a gym. It has a blocked off room with three cardio machines, one weighted ball, a few yoga mats and a balance ball. They also do not have weights behind the customer service desk that you can use or rent with your drivers license nor do they have a partnership with a local gym. I would highly recommend that this hotel removes their false advertising about a gym and state that they have a cardio room.

Yelp
It was alright. Staff was nice and respectful. Had a water fill up station in the fitness room, which is always appreciated. Pool was freezing and pretty small. Room was nice but the wifi didn't work (for me at least). Only one outlet near the bed. Linens were clean and the room seemed well sanitized. We were given no towels so we had to go down to the front desk for some. Only reason this got 3 stars instead of 2 because the breakfast was pretty good. Only open until 9:30 though so you better wake up early if you want free breakfast. Not worth the price per night overall

Yelp
I am a longtime customer of the IHG hotel chain, especially the Holiday Inn Express. My husband and I went on mini trip to RI for my birthday. We were put on the 3rd floor. When we walked into the room, it was like an oven. Thermostat read 80 degrees. It's the end of June and so uncomfortable. There was another woman who was on the 4th floor reported no A/C in her room either. An engineer tried to help fix the A/C to no avail. He brought up a dusty ocelating fan that really didn't do much good except make my eyes itch. My husband was not feeling well and was extremely uncomfortable. The worse part was the manager (?) at the front desk. This guy acted like he was so annoyed by the ordeal. The huffing, the eye rolling, the shrugging his shoulders saying "what am I supposed to do?" I even kindly asked if they would mind keeping the pool open longer so we could cool off. Apparently that was out of the question and said it wasn't up to him. A little compassion and empathy could have went a long way. Oh, and the hotel was booked so we couldn't get another room. By 10:15pm on Saturday night, I had enough. I sat outside and started calling various hotels in the area. We ended up paying a hefty amount for a 2 bedroom suite from a last minute cancelation. We packed our stuff, I went to the desk, handed in my keys and said we were checking out. At no point did I raise my voice, was condescending or rude. In fact, I even told the clerk (he was obviously new, Mr. Manager was dealing with another customer), that we understood, stuff happens, but we can't stay there. Here's the icing on the cake: I still got charged for an additional night. I can understand charging us for Saturday, even though we clearly shouldn't have, but we got charged for Sunday, too. We weren't there. We left because they couldn't provide habitable lodging. This is ridiculous. Steer clear from this hotel. And unfortunately, I will never stay in another IHG hotel ever again. I will continue to post this review on every possible website that I can. I hope treating us like dirt and then ripping us off was worth it.

Yelp
I love the layout and decor of the dining area. They could've cleaned the seating area on the booths better (the chairs on the inside were greasy - you gotta get in the booth to clean them which they probably didn't bother doing). No complaints with the room. Close to the airport if you need it.

David C.

Yelp
Arrived at PVD at 2am due to flight delay. Free shuttle (24 hrs) picked me up after 15 min, once I had my bags. Front desk had issues with my 3rd party reservation, but resolved them after 30 min back and forth with that company. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed felt ideal. Best part was no noise from other guests or overhead planes - this is a solidly built hotel. (They also have large posted policies regarding quiet hours.) Breakfast could use more vegetarian options, but at least they had hot potatoes and fruit. Glad I stayed here - the other airport options all seemed to have serious flaws, based on the reviews.

Yelp
staying here for the weekend. awesome hotel. breakfast was perfect. my girls used their pool and loved. the room was really spacious and they could run inside. no loud guests on the hallway, day or night.

Yelp
Useless. Go ahead, look me up, I'm an IHG member since forever and Genesis is the worst customer service provider I have ever had. Period. She is the front desk person in Warwick. Utterly and completely without care, concern-- just a real zero. Someone who just doesn't care about you. As mentioned above, ihg member forever, holiday inn express customer forever. I have given nothing but four and five star reviews to Holiday Inn Express. Genesis has convinced me to stay elsewhere when I'm in RI. Never again.

Yelp
it was about 5 hours drive from nyc because of traffic. checked in around 9 pm, the room was clean, fresh linens. they were doing some renovations on other rooms but it didn't bother us. the suite has two tv's which is perfect as i watched nba playoffs on the king size bed and my wife and dog watched a movie by the pull out couch. ( i drove, needed to lay down). there's keurig for coffee or tea, small fridge and a little sink. continental breakfast was just a bag of fruit and cereal and muffin, it's ok though it's covid-19's fault. but would love to comeback here again when the pool, gym etc.... is fully open. we just came to visit warwick locally.

Yelp
Do not book or cancel reservations with this hotel over the phone. I learned my lesson. Wait on the line till you get an email confirmation. We stayed here 3 nights in late September prior to cancelling a one night stay on our return trip home. I canceled over the phone and spoke to a man. I asked for an email confirmation and he said there was no need to send one, but I was charged regardless. I gave the manager, a woman my confirmation and cancellation numbers and explained the situation in an email but she never got back to me. I phoned. I was hung up on. I was given the wrong email address, I was put into the manager's voice mail. I was told they would get back to me. The senior management team here is probably the worst I have encountered- there are much better choices out there- the hotel is very dated, the price point is good but it's certainly not worth the aggravation. We won't be back.

Yelp
Good prices! Good location! We were welcomed by several kind employees at the front desk the minute we entered. The lobby is very welcoming, and I think that's why the entire time we were here there were people in it talking, watching TV, or playing games. Our room was spacious. (The closet was not, but we didn't plan on using it. See attached picture. We placed our belonging in the drawers.) The room was clean. The sheets and comforter had no stains or tears, and the floors looked fresh The pillows were soft, big, and fluffy. You sink into them. The cozy pillows made getting up the next day hard. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, pre-made veggie omelettes, cinnamon rolls, a choice of three cereals, sausage, turkey sausage, toast, muffins, oatmeal, fruit, and a pancake machine. It would be nice to see some starches in there like hash browns, but not having that didn't ruin breakfast.

Yelp
Wow, one of the best HiEs I have ever stayed in. A lot of times you can tell a hotel was once something else but it seems like this one was always just that and it is fairly new looking, from the room furnishings to the decor of the entire hotel. We took a weekend trip here and a part of me was worried we would be kept up by the planes taking off all night but I never once heard or even really saw a single one. It had to be pet friendly and they were exactly that with our puppy by our side, the front desk woman actually came out at one point to interact with our dog. The fee for the pet was vey reasonable. We were kindly upgraded to a suite as it was a slower Sunday night and loved everything about our room. We had dinner in the living room area that night after receiving a recommendation list again from the very friendly front desk staff. The kitchenette had a sink, there was a Keurig and a small fridge. The bed I thought was ample although the wife said it was a little stiff for her comfort. My only complaint was the lame workout room. I wanted to lift some weights but all I saw were tow treadmills and two bikes. Next time we are bringing our suits for the hot tub and indoor pool. Breakfast in the "Great Room" was standard for HiE and even more enjoyable because of the beautiful room. The management here are doing a wonderful job and should be very proud of this property, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I was visiting Boston and took a trip to the providence area and my friends and I stayed at this hotel. One of the reasons for staying here is because they advertised they had a spa jacuzzi when in reality they didn't. Checking in process was good, the room was decent. The morning breakfast was the bomb.com LoL I loved the cinnamon rolls the best. Also when checking in someone texts you from the hotel asking about your stay etc and I thought that was nice to check up. I didn't like that they took out the vending machines so anything you needed you had to go to the first fl desk to order what you wanted. & the Pool was smaller than advertised as well so all in all this is my reason for 3 Stars today.

Paul W.

Yelp
no hot water - moved my room- outlets didn't work- check out- no receipts due to computer issue and they don't take cash if you want to buy a water or snack. many travelers for business cannot expense these items so they have to be paid separate. I have a lot of points with IHG and will never stay at this hotel again. matter of fact I am having it removed from our. "preferred" on AMEX booking!

Yelp
Had a real nice stay here. It's super easy to find right off the highway at the Green airport exit. For about $100 I got what seemed like a brand new huge room, comfy bed, nice work desk with easy to use wi-fi, very nice large bathroom, big TV with like 6 HBO choices, and friendly front desk folks. Free breakfast is an embarrassment of choices. Pastries, cereal, breads, muffins, a pancake machine (!), hot entrees (I saw sausages, biscuits and gravy, eggs), I mean this was outstanding. Next time I'm in Providence, I'll be back here for sure.

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel because it was close to my job site. I really liked that when I was checking in I had the option to stay on either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor. The room was very spacious and the king bed was so comfortable to sleep in! Probably one of the best sleeps that I have ever had. The shampoo and conditioner is Bath and Body and it smelt really good (floral)! You hear some noise in the hallway of people entering into their rooms, but generally it did not disturb me. I also liked that the woman at the front desk offered me the IHG Rewards, I will be staying at a Holiday Inn in Dublin so wouldn't mind racking up some points. My only cons for this hotel would be that I was really sad that I would always miss the Continental Breakfast - I would have to leave by 5:20 to get to work and breakfast started at 6:00 AM. Also was really sad that on my last day, I had realized that they have fresh cookies available by the front desk in the afternoon!! Sometimes I would feel really cold in the room at night or after taking a shower but there is no way to control the thermostat in the room. Otherwise, this hotel is in a great location, close to Providence. I used yelp to find restaurants with great reviews that were only 10 minutes away from this hotel. I always felt safer leaving for work so early and being greeted by someone at the front desk.

Yelp
Very satisfied with the rooms! The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Very accessible to all major roadways and accessible for buses. To be honest I wasn't thrilled with the continental breakfast. I would've appreciated the ability to have whole milk instead of skim milk and a couple of other hot food selections, but it is just a continental breakfast I guess. If you ask me if I stay here again... If I was in this area... Yes I would, with my family.

Yelp
**BED BUGS**BED BUGS**BED BUGS** DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I found BED BUGS in the bed in the room I was staying in. Absolutely disgusting. Shows the level of attention they give to cleaning and sanitizing their rooms. Avoid at all costs. Many hotels in the immediate vicinity, I highly suggest staying at another establishment that more throughly cleans their. Michelle...You and your staff didn't seem so concerned. I was told by your manager, Mike Day, that you would not pay the fumigation costs for my vehicle after I found fleas in it from your hotel. Now I have to come out of pocket hundreds of dollars to clean up a mess you caused. It's obvious you neglect to clean your rooms thoroughly otherwise this wouldn't have been an issue. This experience tells me your staff is not cleaning the sheets as if they removed the sheets for my the rooms they would have saw bugs. This was handled unprofessionally and I still haven't heard back from Mike Day when he said he would get back to me over a week ago. I hope people read this and truly reconsider staying at your dirty, uncleaned establishment.

Veasna S.

Yelp
Room 133 was not cleaned checked in at 3:30 pm on June 12, 2021 after last guest checked out at 11 that leave a window span of 4 1/2 hrs and room was never serviced. Trash, dirty towels, used soap bars and dirty linen sheet. It's disgusting horrible experience !!!

Yelp
The rooms are big, but honestly there are so many other similar, mediocre hotels in the area that I can't enthusiastically recommend this one. The internet is extremely slow, the people working the front desk seem annoyed, and the free breakfast is nothing more than perfunctory. They do allow dogs though, so that's a plus. The proximity to I-95 is convenient, but I still prefer the nearby Hilton Homewood Suites.

Yelp
I canclled my resavation not once but twice with them. They still charged me for the whole stay. after talking ti crop I got half the refund than told I being charge for a no show. pardon me but if I canclled not one but twice cause your system keeps making resvation on me. Yelp
Sunday, 1/20 - one night stay - party of 3 We checked out of a nearby casino resort due to the incoming ice storm. As a southern girl not experienced in driving on icy roads, I wanted to be very close to the airport for our Monday flight. HIE fit the bill! The hotel staff had salted the portico and hotel entrance. The front desk manager was on the phone with a salt truck company, asking them to salt the entire parking lot when we arrived. That's a good thing because cars were sliding all over the parking lot! The hotel gave us an extended late checkout which was a godsend for us as our flight wasn't until 6:45pm. The room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the towels were plush. My sons enjoyed the extensive complimentary breakfast that included fresh pancakes, cinnamon buns, mini omelets, fresh fruit, yogurts, meats, cereals and such. I appreciated the Keurig in our room and some quiet time while the boys were downstairs having breakfast :) I encountered one problem but it was fixed so quickly that I hesitate to call it a problem. The toilet didn't flush properly. After a quick call to the front desk, the maintenance man was at our door within 5 minutes - on a Sunday night at 8pm! Now that's service! Every staff member we met was super helpful and friendly! The one night stay was perfect!

Yelp
We stayed one night with plans to go to the zoo the following day and visit downtown. The location was easy to get to. Front desk staff was very friendly and the lobby was clean. Our room was great - nice and clean, very comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in the room, nice bathrooms. We stayed for breakfast in the morning which had a good selection and the staff working breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great stay for the price - no frills but perfect for just one night with our kids.

Yelp
This hotel has the worst customer service. I am visiting because my husbands father is very ill. His co workers sent a gift to the hotel for him on Thursday and we were not notified. When I called down a few days later to get it the reply I got is "it's not here" I said I know for a fact it was delivered and this lady's response is "well it's not here". What a joke.

Yelp
Location! Location! Location! Warwick Holiday Inn is very close to the airport and the rest of the roads leading out to downtown providence. The whole of the staff is superb and I mean from the front desk staff ( at all hours), to the security to the housecleaners. All of the staff there were very warm and beyond professional. They did make the stay that much more pleasant. The rooms were spotless, the sheets, the bed, the toilet and shower area were spotless and well taken care of. Speaking of the bed, it was one of the best beds I've slept in, even more comfortable than more expensive hotels. The morning breakfast is a continental breakfast and is available till ten in the morning. They have a tea and coffee station that's available all day. Overall this Holiday Inn made my cross continental trip relaxed and very bearable. Thank you again to the staff. There were only a few things that I'd like to have seen different; the breakfast times could've been extended to at least 11am allowing guests from different time zones like myself an extra hour to catch breakfast. The toilet didn't flush on the first go. Now I mean for all waste. It had to be flushed twice. The only thing I really wish was different is that I had another day to spend there and cocoon myself in the unexpectedly comfortable bed.

Yelp
I think with all the issues I had this start from the top when you have a general manager that can't call you back after I email him and gave him my phone number and made a complaint with guest relationship and still waiting on a call back Bad service all over the board.

Yelp
Mostly just echoing the other positive reviews here. It deserves five stars for a number of reasons: 1) It's so much nicer than other area hotels charging similar rates. 2) Front-desk personnel were upbeat and eager to be of service. 3) While the breakfast room at similar properties often resembles a middle school cafeteria, this property's breakfast room is spacious, luxurious and comfortable. 4) For less than the price of a room at nearby hotels, this Holiday Inn Express gives you a spacious room with an attractive sofa in addition to the bed. 5) All public areas of this hotel were clean and well-maintained. One very minor quibble: the temperature of the water in the spa was too low. It was not hot enough for a relaxing soak.

Yelp
This is one of my most enjoyable hotel stays in recent memory. The staff is friendly, the rooms are newly renovated, and best of all the breakfast area is spacious and there is a very good selection of hot and cold breakfast items in the morning. Location wise, this hotel is about 1 hr from Boston, 15 minutes from Providence, perfect for visiting either city if you want to avoid the pricey hotels and the need to find parking when visiting either city. The warwick mall is right down the street if you need a late-night run for water, groceries, or other supplies. For electric car drivers, there is a charging station by Target that you can charge while you shop at the mall.

Yelp
Our team booked out 13 rooms in this hotel for a summer softball tournament. Breakfast was a good spread and lobby was clean. Room's air conditioner left a disgusting smell. TV was the size of a microwave. My biggest problem is with customer service. I had called a few weeks prior to check in as they had booked us for a king room and I needed 2 queens. It was confirmed with me that we were all set with 2 queens. Upon check-in, we were given a king room... After checking out on Sunday, I contacted the hotel about a pillow left behind. They transferred me to housekeeping who said they would call me back if found. 9pm Sunday, no call. So I called again to verify and was told they found it, but I would have to call back Monday at 9 for the person that handles shipments. I called Monday at 9am, to talk to a young man who wrote down my information and credit card, but couldn't give me a price estimate on the shipment. He said he would call back at 3pm to give me shipment information. 4:30pm. No call. I call back again, and get on the phone with a new person who tells me shift change was at 3pm and no one had said anything to them about a pillow. I ask again about shipping my item and she says its estimated to be $50.. I told her to just ship the pillow case. She asks for all my information over, but I'm confused as to where this was written down the first time (How is my credit card information missing?!) I inquire about how much this is going to cost and Im told they have small envelopes at the hotel and it wouldnt cost me anything. She said I should receive a confirmation in the next 2 days about shipment. Tuesday goes by. Wednesday goes by. I call back on Thursday to a new person. I ask again about the pillow case and the woman tells me they "cant find a box big enough to ship this." ... I tell her it was just supposed to be the pillow case, and that this information should be written down somewhere, to which she says its not. (Seriously, where are people "writing this down"). She then confirms with me that it will be shipped out today no problem. I got a confirmation email with a $9.80 charge for a "lost and found fee"... Are you kidding me?? Ive sat on the phone all week with clueless employees, was told that there was no charge, and now I'm being charged $10 for what? I'll take all my teams to other hotels from now own. What a waste of time. Terrible.

Yelp
Well located hotel; 3 minutes from I-95. The front desk agent was pleasant and friendly. Clean, fresh smelling rooms. The AC worked great; nice & chilly! Free breakfast every morning which is always nice, especially with not many restaurants or coffee shops nearby. Would not hesitate to return if we needed to stay in the area again.

Yelp
We stayed here on New Year's Eve and had a great time. We were upgraded to a suite that had a couch and TV, mini-fridge and microwave, bathroom, king-sized bed, another TV, and a desk. The room was very clean and quiet. We did not hear noise from the neighbors or the airport at all. The TV was of good quality (I think it was an LG)--much better than some other ones I've had. Wi-fi was free and pretty fast. The breakfast room is very nice--much better than the eating areas in all the other Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed in. The room is huge with large vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, couches, a fireplace, and a TV. It definitely has a lodge-y feel instead of what it is: where you eat your free breakfast before heading out the door. The breakfast was standard fare (milk and cereal, oatmeal, coffee, cinnamon buns, etc) but everything was pretty fresh and well-stocked. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Yelp
Nice location, comfortable beds. Walls are paper thin, we had parties coming through the halls late at night and one person in my room was constantly awakened by the airplanes(I had earplugs in so I didn't hear them.) She also heard the 'couple' above us doing their business quite a few times. The free breakfast is really good. Get the cinnamon rolls, but don't get the eggs. Also, don't be deceived by the online pics of the pool and workout room. They are MUCH smaller and not nearly as nice as portrayed. The pool is also supposed to open at 5:30 AM and my friend went down to swim and they told her 7:30-that the guy to open it wasn't in. -_- Otherwise nice place!

Yelp
Every facet of my stay here was perfect. The front desk ladies were extremely helpful from checking in to helping me get online. My room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, as usual. The highlight of breakfast was Elizabeth who was in charge of keeping the breakfast stocked with everything. She was very cheerful, full of life and looked after your every need. I will definitely stay there the next time I am near there.

Yelp
I was looking for a place to stay in the area while visiting RI. I went inside and no one was at the front desk. I waited about 15 minutes and was about to leave and a man came out. He did not great me or even say hi. I approach the front desk where he sat down and began to eat and acted as though I didn't exist. I then asked him and let him know I was looking for a room to stay. Jason looked at me and rudely replied there are no rooms available. He did not check the computer and turned away as if he wanted me to leave. It was so rude and disrespectful and I felt embarrassed for what? I was just looking for a room. As I was leaving I heard him mumble under his bread a curse word. I have stayed here before and was satisfied however this front desk clerk will make me think twice before I ever go there again.

Yelp
This place is nice and it's pretty close to downtown providence. The room was clean & the breakfast was a standard comp breakfast no waffle machine. The staff was nice. However the morning of my checkout someone begin knocking on the door at 8am and would open it they didn't say who they were just opened the door. Good thing I had the lock on the door. They kept doing that until 10:30am so annoying! Check out is at 11am so I was not in the room past checkout! The parking is cool and they have a indoor pool. The 2 stars are for the early morning annoyance

Yelp
As a package I'd say that, this is the best hotel in the area! What a great find! I've been staying in some real shitty hotels on my trip from the west cost to the east and this hotel was actually cheaper than most of them. Im traveling with a group of five and we all want a suite when we stop. The suites here have two beds and a pull out sofa bed as well. We got our room for $119 *before taxes* and the hotel is clean and feels new. The breakfast room is very large and the breakfast has everything but waffles (they choose pancakes instead) and the coffee is good too *which apparently is hard to do around these parts!* Only downside of this hotel is that the pool is small and there's no fridge in the room but that's really not too bad, it's just a little inconvenient for a longer stay. The staff is nice and there's always coffee in the lobby and sometimes fresh baked cookies. After this horror of a trip and all the creative hotels we've stayed at from San Diego to Rhode Island, I highly recommend this place as it was exactly what I was looking for! We liked this hotel so much that we ended up staying a full week.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, most likely built originally as a higher end property before HIE took it over. Gorgeous dining area, typical HIE breakfast. Big room, very clean. Got it last minute on a Sunday night for $78.00. Great value.

Yelp
The Holiday Inn Express in Warwick knows how to do hospitality. I was there for a convention (the Holiday Inn was the overflow accommodation for a larger venue) and I was blown away by how helpful the staff were. It was a bustling sales event, with people shuttling in and out with huge amounts of merchandise at all hours and parking up every space within a 5-mile radius, and they dealt with the chaos seamlessly, with helpful and genuinely friendly staff available 24/7 to help us with whatever we needed. When some jerks parked up the handicapped parking (my roommate was handicapped) they found them and chased them out. Housekeeping brought us everything we needed. (Also a shout out to Cosmic Steak Pizza & Wieners, who delivered tasty food quickly and WENT BACK FOR the cheesy garlic sticks they forgot!) The rooms are luxuriously large, compared to some of the shoeboxes I've been packed into for these events, with spacious modern bathrooms where everything works perfectly. Bed VERY comfy, elevators capacious and fast, everything clean as a whistle, and the included breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had. Whether you're just visiting Warwick/Providence yourself or organizing an event, choose the Holiday Inn Express - you'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Easy access off the expressway, close to shopping and right next door to the airport. Gym and rooms are clean and well maintained.

Yelp
We had a fantastic stay here. For the price the accommodations are fantastic, which exceeded my expectations. Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms allowed quiet rest - we couldn't hear our neighbors despite the hotel being fully booked. Would definitely stay again. The hotel has an AM breakfast but is also close to a couple diners as well as Providence Place Mall, etc.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last night. At checkin Polvick(I believe is his name) was awesome and recognized me as a member. Anything I needed, Jenna and Polvick was such a great help. Mallory(night audit) is funny and shared some great laughs right before my flight. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Only thing that was bothering me is as a Spire Member with IHG, they changed my room to a different room type because they were sold out. Not that it's a big deal but I should have been able to keep the room I booked. Thank you Mallory for making a nice breakfast bag!! You don't have no idea how much of a blessing that was! Cheers.

Yelp
Clean rooms, pool was great for the kids, breakfast was extensive and good, and the warm cookies in the evening were a nice touch. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.
