Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williams by IHG

My family of 6 booked a room at this hotel for one night. The power had gone out that morning so when we attempted to check in we had to wait an hour for linen as the laundry was behind. Inconvenient but not detrimental. Upon arrival we learned that the pool was shut down for an undetermined amount of time. Sucks but wouldn’t ruin our trip. We finally got into our room and quickly realized that the room marketed to fit 6 people should be marketed for 4 and a child at best. The headboards are peeling, which makes it look quite dirty and there was not one working vending machine in the hotel, so now where to purchase a drink. We weren’t there long enough to use a shower, but still found a dirty washcloth in the shower which was the icing on the cake for us. We spent almost $300 for a room that we left at 2200 and drove 2.5 hours home. This is the second negative experience we’ve had with holiday inn express buildings in the last two weeks. Needless to say we’ve learned our lesson.

This was a last minute book, the location was superb for why we were there, however the room was not great. Being an IHG member we're used to great and not so great stays, this one I would not recommend. There was hair everywhere, the headboards were failing apart, the AC unit was full of dust and we coughed non-stop every time it ran, the floors were gross and over all dingy. We stayed but, the noise coming from the hallway and next room did us in. There were kids screaming and running the halls. We had to call the front desk and ask that they handle it, that didn't fix it. For most of the night the banging and screaming of kids throughout the hotel was awful. We requested another room the next day which they did accommodate without any problems. The room was the same mostly but much more quite. Overall the staff was good and the breakfast was fine. If you can handle the noise and not so clean rooms this place is great for a trip to Williams and the local areas.

I can’t believe IHG allows this hotel to be apart of their chain of hotels. My family and I stayed here November 2025 and was told the pool was down but would be fixed shortly. We stayed again last night and the pool was still out of order. They obviously don’t intend to fix this indoor pool. They could at least make it known on the website or app so guests like me don’t book only to be disappointed. You also cannot add any drinks or food to your room like at other IHG locations. Had to pay cash or card. The staff were also extremely rude at the front desk and seemed bothered if you went to check in or ask any questions.

DO NOT stay at Holiday Inn Williams. This place has gone completely downhill. We stay here every year for our winter trip, but this year was disgusting and disappointing. My sister-in-law’s room had food left in the fridge, clearly not cleaned. My bathroom had hair and mold in the shower—completely unacceptable. The next day there was no power, and despite advertising free breakfast, no food was provided for guests. Management showed zero empathy or accountability, both day and night shift. Being “short-staffed” is not an excuse to accept guests when rooms aren’t clean and basic amenities aren’t available. We will never stay here again, and honestly, I’m done with Holiday Inn altogether.

The main reason we chose this hotel was so the kids could swim. The pool was out of order. The hotel itself was mediocre- definitely not up to the standard of other Holiday Inns. The room was kind of dingy feeling, the beds horribly uncomfortable, and the pull out couch was not even sleep able. My 7 year old has slept on pull out sofas across thr country without complaint- here she said shed rather sleep on the floor because you could feel every single spring. The one good point was breakfast. Otherwise it was like staying at the Super 8 with Holiday Inn prices. So disappointed

Currently staying here. Desk staff is not very friendly. Also, this morning at 6am, in the 3rd floor hallway, a woman and a large German shepherd were walking towards me. The dog began growling and lunged towards me, attempting to attack. The guest told me that her dog is very protective of her— well… “great” , why would the hotel permit an attack dog to stay inside the hotel? Also, the wifi service at this location is a joke. It’s very intermittent and if you can get it for 5 minutes, you’re doing well.

Hotel is about 1 hour from the Grand Canyon. It's a great location to stay and visit the GC. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and average. The pool was shut down for maintenance so that was a bummer when you have kids that want to burn off energy. The fitness room was nice.

Last minute booking. Location is great for Grand Canyon and the surrounding local spots. Short staffed at check in, no manager present. Sign at the front stated no pool or hot tube until further notice. Which would have been good to know ahead of time on their website! The room was dirty upon arrival. Toilet seat had pee on it, the counter tops in the rooms were visibly dirty, the head boards in both queen beds were peeling and falling apart. Tried to switch rooms but there were no clean rooms available. Someone did come in to re clean the bathroom toilet after about an hour from informing them of the conditions. During the early morning of the following day around 4/5am the power shut off in the hotel. No one came to inform us no one said what happened if it was a localized incident or it affected the whole area. No breakfast available. While taking our bags out, my daughter was almost hit by a dirty towel being tossed out by house keeping from one of the rooms. On check out the person at the front desk said there was no type of refund since the power outage was a natural disaster. Awful experience!would never stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Williams, AZ the 10th to 11th of January and again on the 24th to the 25th. Friendly and helpful staff! Our room (129) was clean and comfortable, featuring two queen beds, and Keurig coffee maker. While the bathroom doesn't have a fan or a tub, the walk-in shower was spacious and modern. One of the best surprises was the heated pool--I typically don't get into cold pools, even in summer, so this was a real treat! ‍ The hot breakfast was excellent, offering eggs, protein, cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal, yogurt, a pancake machine, bread, and muffins--plenty of variety to start the day right. The lobby was open and inviting, making for a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a great stay, and I'd definitely return! Would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable, clean, and well-appointed stay in Williams!

Room was clean and breakfast was super convenient! Close to Bearizona and Canyon Coasters which were the reasons for our stay. What's most impressive about this location though is the people that work there! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Specifically Jon at the front desk! He went above and beyond for our family when we ran in to issues during our trip! You won't regret staying here !

$30 resort fee. When we asked at the desk at checkin where was the resort, they said the fee was for electricity and water. At $30 dollars a night? Normally I rate a hotel based on being "quiet" and clean. They get one star because this off season weeknight was quiet. No stars for cleanliness. Finally, I guess the resort fee didn't cover actually having tissues in the tissue box.

The room is pretty decent. Unfortunately, there is no bathtub, but I can live with the shower. It does have an iron and board, single cup coffee maker, a pants rack, 22-inch remote controlled television, microwave, and refrigerator. The air conditioner is preset with no alternative to what it is set on by management staff. There are no usb ports for devices but a good supply of plugs.

First issue, flithy. Curtains stained. This is a new hotel?!? Second issue. Junk fees that they don't let you know in advance. Ie a $30 Utility Surcharge PER NIGHT, Wt.... They also charge a $50/per night pet fee... that's PER NIGHT! We do the route btwn Ojai, CA to Albuquerque frequently and have always stayed next door at La Quinta (where's NO PET FEE & their per night is LESS) but thought we'd give this hotel a try. NEVER AGAIN! Added insult was we were snowed in & the I40 had a train derailment so we had to spend a second night... and where charge again the junk $30/per night Utility Surcharge & $50/per fee. In total two nights there was close to $500. Absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here for our Grand Canyon trip. Our room was clean and had everything that was needed. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast in the morning had a good variety of food.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast was the basics... decent enough to start the day. The room was rather gross. The toilet had pee and toilet paper in it... and there were pee and poo stains on the seat. I always carry Lysol wipes so I just cleaned it myself. The shower also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bathroom and the bedroom had splatters on the walls. I figured it was food or something but why is it also in the bathroom around the toilet. There was also a fresh stain on the sheet... looked like lipstick, hoping it wasn't blood.

This seems to be a fairly new facility. To find it use your GPS. It is not located just off the interstate but rather in a somewhat remote area. For many people, staying in Williams is a great location for access to the Grand Canyon, especially on the train! This hotel is about a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the train. They do not offer a shuttle. Downtown Williams in the evening is worth visiting as well. Restaurants and shops light up Old Route 66. Think the movie Cars. This is your best bet for dining if staying here. As for the rooms, this place meets all the requirements of a Holiday Inn Express. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered hot items such as eggs and meats along with cereals and pastries. This worked out to be a great base camp for my Grand Canyon adventure.

I was able to book a last minute stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Williams. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the breakfast was great! The staff are very friendly. After checkout I had to wait for my ride to the airport. I had the pleasure of talking to Liz who was so kind and is a wealth of information about the town. She can recommend places to eat and what to do. Thank you Liz!

Well where should I start. When you see the prices that are posted here and on any website it's not the correct price even after you pay for it. There are surcharges once you arrive such as $50 a day per pet per day. Very important you understand that if you're traveling with a pet they don't tell you this and they also tell you at the main reservation that it's $50 that covers your whole stay which is not true. Second there is a surcharge of $30 a day some kind of utility charge. What the heck is this about no idea absolutely terrible and you get it at the end of the stay. Third the hotel is not very clean it's okay if you are OCD definitely don't stay here. Their breakfast was the best one I've had at a little hotel like this for free really enjoyed that. The staff are very kind. If you have electric a car there's car charging here. I just don't like the hidden charges I wish they'd be more upfront. I would suggest maybe try another hotels if you have pets for sure most of them have a flat rate if you're staying multiple days. I got the rate at $107 a night and ended up paying $200 a night. So be aware of this you have been forewarned.

Way overpriced for what we got. Accomodation was described as a "suite", but was just a dinky ol' room with 2 beds and a pullout bed that was the worst possible version of a pullout. Lots of "fees" added when we got the bill, including $40 for utilities!?? No ice on the 2nd floor and no internet connection, even tho' we had the password. Totally unacceptable.

The room was clean and neat. The person at the front desk was helpful when we got here. We were well aware of the $30 charge a night but booked threw the app so it was no big deal. Over all not a bad place to stay.

I hate dumping on economy hotels because you pay for what you get, but there was something here that was just off. First, online (on parent company IHG website), this hotel is listed as newly remodeled. I'm not sure what was new about it, since the carpet and chair in our room were quite stained. Maybe the bathrooms, but those even had tile falling off. Was going to take a dip in the pool and relax in the hot tub, but neither looked like they had been cleaned in some time. The hot breakfast was a nice addition to our stay. I feel like the price is justified by the hotel's closeness to the Grand Canyon, but wasn't worth the $150/night tag.

On our family Grand Canyon vacation I reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen beds each, 1 room for my Daughters family including 2 children age 5 & 7. One room for myself, my bride and adult son. We checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Williams Az. 3/15/24, Our first complaint is we went to make coffee in our room. The coffee maker provided was very dirty under the lid and it was COVERED with FUNGUS and Slim, it was DISGUSTING and UNACCEPTABLE !!! #2) Next was the indoor "Heated Pool/Whirlpool" for the Grandkids.. Only problem the water was COLD !!! Far too COLD to stay in very long. #3) Back at the room I noticed there was ONLY ¼ roll of Toilet Paper on the roller in the bathroom, after an extensive search there was NO Spare ROLL.. I complained at the desk as 3 adults and ¼ roll so he gave me a spare. I sadly found out the next day My daughters room also only had a ¼ roll and NO spare and they ran out during the night.. #4) Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. there was constant loud banging and stomping and a loud aggressive man's voice coming thru the walls. I asked if there was construction above me, he said there are 4 adults in the room, the noise lasted until after 11:00 p.m.. I fell asleep and woke up to a LOUD mans aggressive voice and more banging noise.. and it was NOT the sound of " Love Making " it was not 3:45 a.m. I was concerned someone was getting assaulted. The next morning I went to front desk to complain. & ON TOP of ALL that, they were going to charge me $84.66 OVER the on-line reservation "Estimated Final Price" After some arguing she removed $60.00 and the G.M. Cindy M. gave me 10,000 points, which is ONLY a $70.00 value. MA$$IVE FAILURE !!! Returning home on Holy Week, I reached out to the GM, Cindy M. with a full detailed report. I asked for credit or points on my 1 room only, It fell on deaf ears. I honestly don't think she cared or had time for me.. it was a MA$$IVE Disappointment on EVERY LEVEL and HUGE $CAM. RUN FORREST RUN from this $$$$CAM Hotel... The second night we all stayed at The Best Western Plus down the street, it was a GREAT experience and about $100.00 CHEAPER

The family stayed here last week and found the room OK but broken glass on the picture frame, and the electrical outlets by the bed are unusable. The computers in the lobby do not function, and management knows that, but I was told by Avery ( night manager), that it cost too much to replace. And I was stunned by a $30 resort fee on top of all else. It is for (1) a $15 fee for water, and (2) a $15 fee for electricity. Crazy. Watch out for housekeeping services .... if you do not ask to change the linen or towels ( if you stay more than a single night) they keep everything the same. Very expensive lodging without first-class support. Try another location closer to the Grand Canyon

There are two immutable truths that I've discovered in my Yelp tenure: (1) You don't win friends with salad; and (2) you don't earn a Review of the Day honorific writing a four star review of a small-town Holiday Inn. But for the road weary traveler, the young couple just starting out, the retired educator fulfilling his lifelong dream of riding a Harley the length of Route 66, or the family looking for lodging to facilitate their Polar Express adventure, I only hope this review offers a little help as you sojourn and saunter and seek solace for your soul. This hotel is sort of out by its lonesome away from the main drag through Williams. This is t a terrible thing, as Williams is smallish anyway. The La Quinta Inn is next door, the Grand Canyon Brewery Restaurant is next to that, and you're a seven minute walk from the Grand Canyon Railway. Everything else is about a five minute drive. The rooms are spacious and about what you'd expect for a Holiday Inn. We stayed in a two queen room, that featured a large bathroom, a mini kitchenette (minifridge, microwave, coffee pot) a work desk, and a killer view of the parking lot. For about $200/night, it was not a bargain, but considering our previous stays at the $79/night hellholes in town, this was better. Our room was allegedly soundproofed, which interestingly... must have worked? My kids were in full Polar Express sugar mode, and no one knocked out on my door from the Arizona Bad Parents Task Force. Or the front desk. The pool is indoor and small. The workout room was actually Ok too. Very nice guy at the front desk. Didn't get his name, but reminded me of that guy that lived three doors down in your ResHall that everyone parties with except you, and for no good reason... Free breakfast was better than a lot of places, but honestly, we just grabbed yogurts and fruit for the Grand Canyon drive, and had breakfast in town. Twice at Pine Country. Anyway, one of the nicer places to stay in Williams. For the price, it damn well better be.

It's a three star hotel people! My sheets were clean, my shower was clean, it had a fridge, basic necessities. Breakfast in the morning was good! The pool was small but it's expected from an indoor pool. The attendants were hospitable but not overly welcoming. Not sure what people expect lol lifting chairs and checking every nick and cranny. Like wtf? Get real! The housekeepers have to turn these rooms quickly so that you all can do your "early check ins and late check outs" if you don't like it? Don't stay in Williams you just may be out of your element. I will most definitely return. It's a super chill town with lots of things to see and do! Be sure to check out Bearizona! and eat at Nanys tacos!!

Worst ever, and we travel a lot! Checked in, found the soap in the bathroom was used, not replaced, towels just dumped on the desk, but that's not the worst. The toilet was clogged up. Called the front desk, and was told I could come down and get a plunger to unclog it. No joking! He said he was the only one there and he couldn't leave the front desk. Ok, so I tried. No luck. I go back down and Liz the manager was there. Her attitude was hideous, "I'm sorry, But..." then a list of excuses. Now I'm annoyed and as I walk away, her comment was "I hope your night gets better". The star is for Richard, the front desk guy. He tried and was sincerely apologetic. This room was WAY to much to pay for a NoTellMotel type establishment. I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn again!

This is the most disappointing room I'm ever stayed in. We price shop, so I'm used to cheap hotels and my standards aren't too high. This place is bad. The couch has rips in it, like large holes where you don't want to sit, and the fold out bed sinks down so badly my daughter's afraid to sleep on it. If she gets out on the wrong side the mattress collapses down into a hole. When we told the front desk about the rips (before we knew about the sinking), they said they knew about it... so how long has it been like this?? We were also told the oven is apparently broken, so there will be no breakfast items from the oven. This place is a dump charging regular, decent hotel prices.

I had meant to write this review sooner, but I have just returned from my vacation and found the time to write up my experience. I stayed in room 135 on the night of 10/5/2022 & I was completely dissatisfied with my stay. The room was very nearly nasty. 1-The curtains were filthy. 2-The bathtub not properly cleaned. 3-The bathtub wall tile is missing grout. 4-The room has an odor of rotten eggs. Enough of an odor that I went to Safeway and bought two, Febreeze plug-in air fresheners in an attempt to mask the odor. 5-I ran 6 cups of water through the Keurig coffee maker, still continued to get grounds or some kind of debris in my cup (I use the Keurig to make hot water for the tea bags I bring with me) and gave up trying to make hot water for tea. 6-The refrigerator seal has become detached from it's door. This Holiday Inn seems to have become a construction worker 'man-camp'. There were plenty of work trucks in the parking lot. More than a couple of which were backed into their parking spaces right in front of my room's window. Bright and early at 5am, those diesel work trucks were fired up and left idling while warming up. Again, the truck exhausts were right in front of my room's window. While I'm on the subject of being "The" place for workers to stay, the wear and tear on the hotel reflects that. I'm going to add a few photos to this review as well as a link to Youtube of a short video of the min-fridge. If you're not staying here because your employer sent you to this area to get your hands dirty, don't stay here. Tried to check in early, which I get is not always a thing, but the woman sitting behind the desk playing in her phone with a blank look on her face was so rude that we left, cancelled our reservation and stayed at the newer, nicer Hampton Inn for the same price. Also, there's a sign on the desk apologizing for the yellow water bc the city is replacing the pipes. Made me want to stay there even less. Water wasn't yellow at the Hampton Inn.

We spent last night here before we head up to visit the Grand Canyon shortly. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable...I did find a long dark hair on one of the pillows. No liners in waste baskets. We received one shampoo and two lotions...no conditioner. The shower door/towel rack was broken...not properly installed....a lot of shoddy construction work in the bathroom...shameful since this hotel seems to be a recent build. The breakfast area didn't support enough guests and they kept running out of food and plates. A little unpleasant.

Rooms were clean but the bathroom needed work. The mold was disgusting in the tub area. There's no ventilation. Breakfast was very good. Clean, hot and fresh. Built 5-6 years ago on the cheap. Showing age already. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Pictures speak for themselves. I should have looked at the yelp page before booking as my complaints mirror prior complaints of poor to non-existent housekeeping taking place here. I understand there is a shortage of people who want to work, but this is just a complete lack of oversight.

Large rooms and nice big showers. Front desk was nice and helpful! Beds were comfortable and easy access from parking lot. Continental breakfast only as the kitchen is having issues. Nice indoor pool/spa. Little laundromat available.

We had a wonderful stop in Williams and slept well at the Holiday Inn.. A nice facility well kept well cleaned and welcoming.. I'd be staying here again when I come through Williams and hope you enjoy it as well

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! The pool was out of service because the roof was leaking, but they told us it would be in use in the evening. After 6pm they told us that the pool would not be in service at all and oh by the way, we can't refund your money because it's after 6. The room was filthy and the couch was ducked tape together. The peep hole had toilet paper shoved in it, not because someone before us wanted privacy, but because it had fallen apart. It gets worse...we had a long wait by the elevator with our child this morning. Two housekeepers, one named Duane, were having a heated obscenity filled rant about how per Duane it's acceptable for a man to "knock a woman upside her f-ing head if she deserves it". My kid was sitting there covering her ears. Ridiculous. Will be calling corporate, because they need to make this right. We paid over 200 dollars for this room.

We stayed here as a base hotel for driving to Grand Canyon/Petrified Forest/Red Rock/Sedona. Parking is free. They have luggage carts by the front doors to use to bring in all your luggage to your room. For COVID, there are only signs that say they require guests without vaccinations to wear masks. However, they do not ask for vaccination documentation. So, most guest and hotel workers are not wearing masks. We got there before our check in time and the front desk clerk checked to see if our room was ready. Pleasantly it was ready and we could check in (and she apologized that the housekeeper carts were still in the hallway..which were we fine with). Our room was clean. You can tell that the bathrooms were remodeled (although it was a bit odd that they kept the old shower soap dish... they do supply those refillable shampoo, conditioner, shower gel bottles). There's a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. They have DirecTV cable. The hotel has a fitness room and swimming pool. The swimming pool with jacuzzi was a plus... the kids loved it. The jacuzzi looks like its dirty (...but we weren't sure if it looks like that because the blue paint was coming off). Another plus was that the free breakfast had buffet style hot and cold options. Hot options - eggs, omelets, sausage links and sausage patties. (I wish there was bacon..but sadly that was never an option). They had a cool pancake maker that makes fresh pancakes. Kids loved watching it being made. They also had muffins, fruits (banana, orange, apples), cereal, oatmeal, bread, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs milk. They had decaf and regular coffee (although my husband said the coffee wasn't filtered well; I wish there was tea and hot cocoa offered but they didnt have it). They also had juice dispenser (apple and cranberry). I'd definitely recommend. The hotel is also close to the Grand Canyon Brewing Restaurant and historic Williams (which is very cute to check out and their Route 66 places).

We booked the Holiday inn express as our first road trip stop. Loved that it's one of the newer hotels in this cute western town. We were greeted by friendly concierge staff and the check in process was super quick and convenient. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Love the extra spacious walk in area with a fridge, microwave and coffee. We had our kids with us, and they had the best time at the indoor pool while we enjoyed the hot tub after a long trip. The complimentary breakfast was great, with many options from pancakes to eggs and bacon or yogurt. Great spot if your visiting the Grand Canyon, which is very easy to drive to from the hotel. Also close to a Safeway if you need to grab anything for your room. Thanks for an awesome stay!

They should fix the room and change new sofa. Noisy from next door, upstairs, and outside. Only Muffin and hot coffee in the morning. Not recommend stay here if you want to a relax happy trip.

Overall for $200 per night military rate, you would expect everything to be spotless or pretty clean. Throughout the room, there were stains on pretty everything, sheets, flooring, couches, and bathroom. This hotel is only a few years old and looks super nice on the outside. Once inside it looks ran down with super dirty carpet throughout the hallways and front room area. Would not stay here again!

This is the by far the worst holiday inn I have stayed at. All breakfast items consistently empty, the bananas are black, apples are shriveled up. No service for the rooms but you are paying for it. If you are visiting the Grand Canyon, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

We stayed here two nights during Spring Break. The stay was pleasant , quiet and comfortable for our family . The first morning we tried to get breakfast but everything was out by the time we got downstairs . Your options were only muffins , coffee and juices (that I could tell) Check in and out was fairly simple . Signs are posted everywhere to wear your mask and hand sanitizing stations are available in plenty of places . We will definitely stay here again when visiting Williams and the Grand Canyon.

When I was given my bill in the morning, it had a $30 utility surcharge added to the quoted room rate I had been given the night before. Since it is a substantial amount, it should have been announced before the morning.

My wife and I traveled to Williams for young life camp and unfortunately they didn't have enough space for both of us so at the last minute we booked this hotel and the staff was so nice. We didn't spend more than a few hours sleeping and didn't try the food. The staff was so friendly.

Only place in Williams WITHOUT pet friendly rooms. Hotel was not clean. Trash overflowing in trash container at entry, dirty/grimy floors in public area inside hotel. Another customer - a stranger - said to me she had never stayed at a holiday inn express this dirty. Reserved double queen room with sofa sleeper. 3 women staying in the room. First room had only a small chaise in the room - only large enough for a small child to sleep. Had to request a new room. Next 2 rooms had sofa sleepers, both with several holes in the fake leather, stuffing was visible, and with duck tape attempting to cover the holes. Hideous! The hotel clerk apologized and said they were being replaced. I'm doubtful. The mattress was the worst - thin, dirty and stained. I opted to just sleep on the sofa without opening the sleeper. I wd never stay here again and have advised others not to. Maybe the LaQuinta next door is better is you're ok with a pet friendly room. This was a disappointing start to our Grand Canyon visit.

Beautiful brand new building. Two years old in 2018. Modern, spacious rooms with comfy beds and pillows. Room looked pristine at check in. Clean room, clean lobby. Kat, who checked us in was efficient and friendly. Perfect. She gets extra points for being helpful and hospitable. Just don't go to the Grand Canyon Brewery if they recommend it. Worst food. But I don't have anywhere else in Williams to compare to, maybe most the food there is mediocre considering the thousands of tourists they see! Holiday Inn Express is a great deal, and free full breakfast too. Everywhere we stay at new Holiday Inn Express locations, they are great. Recommend.

PSA!!!! Do NOT waste your money! DIRTY does not describe this place. This hotel is absolutely filthy compiled with a ton of deferred maintenance, complete negligence, and obvious lack of care. We tried to look past the dirty and poorly maintained lobby and dining area as we walked to the elevator to get to our room # 309. However, the elevator was even worse. Cracked flooring, filth and fingerprints all over the buttons and doors, appeared to have never been wiped down in it's life! At this point my expectations were LOW but I maintained a positive attitude in hopes that the room and pool would be adequate for my very excited children. As we walked off the elevator, the carpet in the halls were stained, full of grime, and littered with what appeared to be years of crap. Entering the room and pulling back the sheets they were stained with some sort or red/pink substance, had holes, AND a hair! YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!!! I was horrified. I went down and asked Regina (front desk clerk) for a new fitted sheet still trying to stay positive for my children. Additionally the room had chipped paint all over, the sofa and ottoman were stained and grotesque, the furniture pieces were chipped in multiple areas, the carpet was just as filthy as the hallway, and it smelled like a gym locker. We quickly made our way down to the pool that was IN COMPLETE DISREPAIR. I actually thought I was on candid camera at this point as the drywall finishing was cracked and falling down, rusted out sprinklers, black mold in the vents, and then to top it all off I STEPPED ON A PANTY LINER and it was stuck to my foot. The entire floor was covered in trash and debris and was disgusting. We immediately took our children and left. I'll post the photos I took for reference. The icing on the cake is that this was the most expensive hotel option with an indoor pool. I chose it because I anticipated a nearly $300/night hotel to be very well kept and clean. I'm mind blown that this was the experience. What an absolute disgrace and joke of an establishment. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity. Period.

I understand the current concerns with the virus but to check in and be told that breakfast is cancelled by IHG corporate. They offered no compensation in any form My wife talked to a guest that at 4:00 when she made reservation was told that there was breakfast I found it funny that IHG had not sent anything out to their rewards members so I called IHG only to be told that they were not aware of this policy If the hotel did this they could have gone to McDonalds and bought $5 gift cards to pass out to their guest

We having been staying at Holiday Inn Express for almost a decade now, and have been to numerous throughout the country. Overall it was a standard hotel experience, clean rooms and lobby, friendly staff.... unfortunately that is where it ends. Breakfast states it is served at 6:30 every morning. We are here visiting the Grand Canyon which is about an hour drive, so we like to eat early and get on the road by 715-730..... that being said most mornings breakfast was not served until almost 7, if not after. If your team can't stick to what you have stated throughout your hotel, maybe change the hours. The tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down the whole 4 nights and 5 days we were there. Pool was nice, heated and highly chlorinated. Close to town. Great housekeeping, room always looked so nice. We really don't know if we would stay here again.

I had to think long and hard on this. Firstly,.the staff were all awesome!! I have no issue with any of them at all. The building is pretty new and a solid 3 star facility. The indoor pool, spa, fitness area and laundry were very nice. The pool does have a lift if needed. * I also want to add that they are Service Dog friendly. No access issues at all.This is huge for me. The rooms were roomy enough had hair dryers, walk in shower, mini fridge, microwaves and coffee makers. Everything was great until I sat on the bed. What the actual hell?!! I had to check to make sure they hadn't put sheets on a slab of concrete!!! This lost a star.. maybe 2 over this for me. I woke up EVERY HOUR through the night trying to get comfortable. Even after taking 2 Tylenol PMs and 20mg melatonin *and* Nyquil. My shoulders ache today. Then the next morning, I went to take my service dog out for her morning duty, I find the elevator is not functioning. I'm on the 3rd floor and there is no other elevator. I went down the 3 flights of stairs and found out they were waiting on keys. The guy at the desk was super apologetic and tried his best to be helpful. I took my girl out came back, no elevator, had breakfast and the employee approached to update me that the person with the keys was trying to get there. I made it back up the stairs to get my stuff for the day and goofed it back down the stairs. My knees are bad and they hated this. In my rush to grab n go, I left some important things in the room. I had no energy to go back up and just dealt with it. Through everything the employees tried tgeir best and I recognize that. We were told that the elevator has had issues since they opened. That didn't sit right with us. When we got back, the elevator was working hurrah!! But then, I had to sleep on that slab.. boo. We decided that when we come back to visit the grand canyon, we will stay somewhere else. It's the bed man.. The elevator, we can forgive.. but what is a hotel but a place to sleep?!

This is usually my favorite spot for the kids and i to rest while on the road. The price is reasonable. Clean Establishment. Normally Excellent Customer Service. My Check was ok. I called to ask if my children could use my debit card to shop at the snack bar. She swiped the card twice and denied my kids rudely. I didn't want to be a Karen. So i took my business to the local dollar general. Bought twice the snacks with better service. I love My Suite.

Window unit A/C is outdated for a fairly new hotel, and made annoying noises. Light fixture in bathroom was almost falling off and was obviously ignored by the staff. Beds had two mattress covers in an attempt to make them softer. Lame!!! Breakfast bar was almost empty when we got down there 30 minutes before closing. If this is the way they take care of their new hotels, we won't be staying at anymore Holiday Inn Expresses that's for sure!!

The carpet was very dirty. Plaster on the walls in the bathroom not painted. The AC leaked water in the floor. Not worth the money.

Be aware, by far the worst Holiday Inn we've stayed at! As soon as we got to the hotel we saw that the lobby was a mess, with tables and chairs out of place, the floor looked dirty, the mini-market area was closed with large yellow ropes and cluttered boxes and things stored all visible as you checked in. We called for two additional pillows to be brought to our room and they called us back a few minutes later to let us know they were alone covering the front desk, and if we could come downstairs to pick them up, and at that point we told them to keep them and we'll use what we had. Now going through our CC statement we see that they charged the pillows to our room aft we checked out, claiming we took them! Unreal the disorganization at this place, and even after we called to explain, they told us that there was nothing they could do! Needles to say we wont say at a Holiday Inn ever again!

The AC unit did not work properly. The phone did not work so I couldn't call the front desk. The shower hair conditioner was empty. The alarm clock went off at midnight and woke us up. The beds were uncomfortable. For breakfast the muffins were moldy and there was no hot water for the oatmeal. Worst Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at.

This location is great if you want to visit the Grand Canyon. But I would advise to go to a different hotel. The staff is nice, but the service at this location is below par. We had several problems with the hotel, with the hot water really ruining our trip. The water heater is on a cycle is what I was told, so it depends on if you're lucky to get the hot water or not. For a place that's new, it's not the best holiday inn to be honest. You're better off booking somewhere else.
