I stayed here for 2 nights and we had a good time. Rooms and washrooms are small but everything is clean and maintained well. Staff is polite. Full length mirror in the room was a big plus. It is 300 m from a metro station Chong Nonsi- another big plus. Breakfast spread was very basic. The number of items available was less but they seemed to be freshly made so that was good. Soups were not nice at all and could use improvement.

New hotel, good location. Nice room design, overall very good for a 3 stars hotel but the price is a bit too much (50-80 euros in dry season) Can find better choice price wise. If not a member of IHG, can find better option in Bangkok.

My stay for vacation was a mixed experience, but largely positive. The highlights were certainly in the room itself, which was kept very clean and featured an exceptionally comfortable bed, making for a restful night. However, there were some notable drawbacks. The bathroom had a peculiar and somewhat impractical layout. Noise was also an issue; the air conditioning unit was consistently loud, and my room door would make a sound every time a nearby door was opened or closed. This became particularly noticeable and disruptive in the mornings when housekeeping was active in the hallway. While I appreciated that breakfast was included, the quality was poor and the selection was disappointing. It felt especially unsuitable for Arab and Muslim guests, as it lacked appropriate options. The hotel's biggest challenge is its location, but only if you plan to navigate Bangkok, relying on a car or taxi from this spot is a significant headache due to the endless traffic. In conclusion, if your plans specifically require you to be in this part of the city and you'll be using other forms of transport, the overall experience is good. For this particular area, the Holiday Inn is definitely the best choice. 👍

I’ve been staying at this hotel repeatedly on every trip to Bangkok for many years, and the staff have always been consistently friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciate. As an IHG member, I used to book directly with the hotel for the best rates. However, in recent times, third-party platforms like Trip.com—especially with bank discount vouchers—often offer better deals, which is something worth noting for future guests. The breakfast spread has improved since my last visit, but there is still room for enhancement, particularly for vegetarian options. During my 6-day stay, only one morning included a hot vegetarian dish (stir-fried vegetables). On the remaining five days, the only vegetarian options available were cold salads, which were not ideal for a warm, satisfying breakfast. It would be a great improvement if the hotel could offer at least one hot vegetarian dish daily as part of the breakfast buffet.Overall, still a pleasant stay, and I look forward to coming back again.

Convenient location, rooms are clean and well laid out. But the breakfast... I've had many, many hotel breakfast and my standards are not high. But this hotel's breakfast deserves an award for being consistently terrible. Offerings are very limited, food that is supposed to be warm is at room temperature, bread offerings are really under baked, and they clearly choose the most budget ingredients they could get their hands on. I'm not exaggerating - it's terrible. Good news is that there are plenty of small cafes and eateries in this area that offer excellent value for money, so skip the hotel breakfast and walk a few steps for a happy start to your day.

I think this is the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in around the world and best budget hotel in Bangkok. Had everything I needed including breakfast. Staff were so nice and caring and I felt well looked after. Rooms are well appointed with fridge and safe deposit box. Good internet through out the location. Centrally located in Bangkok so nothing is more than a short Grab taxi away or walkable. Super clean and well maintained. The little details and staff made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here three times while were exploring the Bangkok area and other parts of Thailand. With all of our stays we've had a great experience.||The room had a modern interior and everything was in good working order, including the much needed airconditioning.||The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with a walk-in shower that had a rain shower in addition to a regular showerhead. There was also a small fridge, a water boiler, complimentary tea, coffee, and water, plus a large enough safety deposit box. One other thing that I'd liked was that there was a flat area to put 1-2 suitcases on, making it very easy to get things in and out of your suitcase. Altogether, the room looked very nice and satisfied all of our needs.||The breakfast buffet was a very pleasant surprise. There were so many food choices and both the Asian and Western types of food were available. The seating area itself was also really nice. This buffet definitely exceeded our expectations.||The location of this hotel was also even better than we'd expected. In addition to the stalls on the street, there is a small mall just a few minutes down the street. There are also several restaurants nearby. The Central Pier is also very close, making it really easy to take a boat to your destination. This includes the special ferry to the huge IconSiam mall that is just opposite the river.||Last, but not least at all, I would like to give a huge compliment to all of the staff. This is from the reception, to the breakfast restaurant, to the kitchen (they even cut and sliced the mangosteen that we had bought!) and housekeeping.||All of the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided an awesome service and that we really appreciated. Kudos to management for hiring such people. They absolutely make the difference!||Needless to say that we will return to this hotel whenever we come back to Bangkok!

We have stayed here few times in the past. In our previous stays, we had an issue with the water temperature in the shower. It kept switching between scalding hot and super cold instantly. We reported it and they tried to fix it but nothing was resolved. This time, the issue was still there but it was not terrible as long as you started the shower with not really hot water, then it was okay. Here is my review in details.|Location: 10/10. This is the main reason why we always want to stay here. It took less than 3 mins to walk to the BTS station, Chong Non Si which is 2 stops away from Siam. There were plenty of 7-11, foot massage parlors and restaurants around. Also, a very nice local day market in the alley across from the hotel. Everything is walking distance. |Staff: 10/10. All staff were polite, attentive and very responsive. From the lobby to restaurant and housekeeping, they were all very nice.|Breakfast: 8/10. It was a buffet breakfast. It was small with few choices of Thai's and western food. However, it filled you up to start a day. We loved their hot chocolate and hot green tea drink. The Thai's food was always spicy to us.|Gym: small but had AC. |Overall, we were happy with the decision to return to this hotel since the issue with the water in the shower was manageable now. Some rooms had showed their ages. In our first stay, the sink had terrible chipped marks but in our second stay, the room was ok. We highly recommend this hotel for its price, services and most of all the perfect location.
