Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen

My friends recommended this hotel, and it’s truly one of the best city hotels in which I’ve stayed in China. Friendly and helpful personnel, even the cleaning staff was friendly and wished good morning 😌 really good breakfast both Chinese traditional and European with a variety of vegetables and fruits, as well as pastry. If I’m in Beijing again I will definitely stay here. 非常感谢！

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was conveniently close to the attractions we wanted to visit, making it easy to explore. Our initial room had a slight smell, but the staff handled it professionally and moved us to another room without any hassle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the cookies—it was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily stay here again!

I really liked every single thing about the accommodation especially the staff working in the reception. They helped me in everything, they even gave me a late check out (3pm) which helped me a lot. 2 ladies and one gentleman. Best hotel I stayed in Beijing, recommend it to everyone who intend to stay long or short terms.

Older, yet cozy hotel in a very good and rather quiet (not along a major road!) location with nice neighborhood and shops around, breakfast has lots of variety. Rooms are cozy, but small. Pillows ok - seen better in China. We felt it is a bit more expensive than other hotels with comparable standard, but mark-up probably for location and proximity to airport rail.

We loved our stay at this hotel! It was very foreigner friendly and had a warm atmosphere in general. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and varied, the location was great, rooms were clean and maintained well, and there was even a laundry room that could be easily used if needed. Pretty much everything was ideal, I would highly recommend this hotel!

front staff (night and day) were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Checking in was fast. Room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small. It would also have been better if water from shower head doesn't come out all over the place. Housekeeper is also friendly and helpful. Basically cuatomer service is great. Location is walking distance to metro line 3 and 17 and also 15min walk away from TaikooLi and Sanlitun. Nice peking duck restaurant just opposite hotel. Has a laundry room which is good.

I had a great stay at the hotel. Thank you so much for the complimentary red wine and the cute birthday card on my mom's birthday—it was lovely! The staff were very helpful and polite. Service was quick whenever I asked for things like water, tea bags, or plates. The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean enough and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. Overall, I’m happy with my stay!
