Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was conveniently close to the attractions we wanted to visit, making it easy to explore. Our initial room had a slight smell, but the staff handled it professionally and moved us to another room without any hassle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the cookies—it was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily stay here again!

Older, yet cozy hotel in a very good and rather quiet (not along a major road!) location with nice neighborhood and shops around, breakfast has lots of variety. Rooms are cozy, but small. Pillows ok - seen better in China. We felt it is a bit more expensive than other hotels with comparable standard, but mark-up probably for location and proximity to airport rail.

We loved our stay at this hotel! It was very foreigner friendly and had a warm atmosphere in general. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and varied, the location was great, rooms were clean and maintained well, and there was even a laundry room that could be easily used if needed. Pretty much everything was ideal, I would highly recommend this hotel!

Stay 7 nights total 3 rooms with my family. The room is relatively big with all the amenities. Good service and great location, easily accessible using Didi almost everywhere. For the nearest subway it is located around 600-700m but mostly we are using Didi. The breakfast is also good but almost the same everyday. There is a coin laundry machine on the 3rd floor which is a good service for guests.

It was a great stay for 4 days with my husband. We had a good service especially the receptionist are very helpful. Location is good. We received a welcome drinks and cookies. Their breakfast is very delicious have lots of choices every day. We will surely recommend to our friends.

My friends recommended this hotel, and it’s truly one of the best city hotels in which I’ve stayed in China. Friendly and helpful personnel, even the cleaning staff was friendly and wished good morning 😌 really good breakfast both Chinese traditional and European with a variety of vegetables and fruits, as well as pastry. If I’m in Beijing again I will definitely stay here. 非常感谢！

I really liked every single thing about the accommodation especially the staff working in the reception. They helped me in everything, they even gave me a late check out (3pm) which helped me a lot. 2 ladies and one gentleman. Best hotel I stayed in Beijing, recommend it to everyone who intend to stay long or short terms.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated that coffee was always available in the lobby, and the staff had translator devices for more complex conversations. There were also able to quickly get us a taxi during rush hour, for which we were thankful.||Some suggestions:|- The allergen labeling cards at the breakfast are a total joke. I have to eat gluten free, and I saw MANY items that clearly had gluten (like bread) listed as gluten free. This is not a safe space for people with allergies.|- I think we can to manually scroll up to channel 60 on the TV before we found one in English. Dispersing them a bit might be more respectful to international tourists.|- The luggage storage service was appreciated, but a bit insecure. Our luggage was left adjacent to the lobby all day, and when we returned for it, the staff were all busy, so we just went in and took our luggage. No one asked any questions. Basically, anyone could have taken it. It'd be nice if they put the luggage in the back, behind a closed/locked door, for security.
