Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen

The staff at this hotel have made me feel very welcome and have done a terrific job. The breakfast buffet is great. The room was always clean. If anything needed attention the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the outcome. There are small restaurants in walking distance. It's possible to take a longer walk to the metro and local shopping mall. I recommend this hotel which has exceeded my expectations.

In recent years, Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen has become my go-to hotel. It's clean and at a good location. It provides everything that I need, including a good breakfast, a safe in the room, printing service, laundry, and accepting delivery on my behalf. During my most recent stay, the staff acknowledged my IHG member status and waived the fee for my using washer and dryer. I was able to sleep well in a quiet room. The shower pressure was always great. I cannot find anything that I don't like about this hotel!

This hotel is close to international airport only 30min away. We arrived late at night but the receptionist was not very enthusiastic to help us check in. We waited for a few minutes before they started to help us. The room is considered clean but it has a weird odor as the air conditioning is off when the room is not occupied. Breakfast is incredibly good with lots of western and local choices. The receptionist in the morning time is much more friendly. The cleaner is also helpful when she saw me carrying three luggages she offered to help me carry to the elevator. The bell boy at the main entrance is also friendly and helpful. After all I would recommend my friends to stay here if they come for a business trip.

Very nice and clean rooms. Lot of space. Good a/c with good and fast heating. Very friendly and excellent service. We enjoyed the big variety at breakfast. Large and cosy window bench. Very good shower environment. Our Family enjoyed our time at the Holiday Inn. Many thanks!

The hotel is very nice. Receptionists are very professional so they can speak english and try to understand the customers. Room is very clean! Breakfast is buffet. PS. I ask receptionist to check out late for 1 hr cause i have flight at the evening so they compromise to check out late! I was very impressive!

Nice hotel. Rooms are a little dated but still sufficent for a great stay. Location is a bit of a walk from the closest Metro station if you are using it (approx 20 mins) Breakfast Buffett was good. Reception has a coffee machine you can use. The drawback is that nearly none of the staff spoke English. Only one young male did.

booked through booking.com and needed to change my departure date which was settled at check in. Staff were accomodating in letting us check in early and also accomodated our request for connecting rooms. Rooms were clean and could sleep soundly. Plenty of natural light so you dont feel cramped. Bed was on the older side but provided adequate support. Only the doors were a bit thin and you could hear people in the corridors but it was generally quiet at all times. Breakfast was 5 star. Only quibble is the metro was further than we initially anticipated but could still manage.
