Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was conveniently close to the attractions we wanted to visit, making it easy to explore. Our initial room had a slight smell, but the staff handled it professionally and moved us to another room without any hassle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the cookies—it was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily stay here again!

Older, yet cozy hotel in a very good and rather quiet (not along a major road!) location with nice neighborhood and shops around, breakfast has lots of variety. Rooms are cozy, but small. Pillows ok - seen better in China. We felt it is a bit more expensive than other hotels with comparable standard, but mark-up probably for location and proximity to airport rail.

I had a great stay at the hotel. Thank you so much for the complimentary red wine and the cute birthday card on my mom's birthday—it was lovely! The staff were very helpful and polite. Service was quick whenever I asked for things like water, tea bags, or plates. The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean enough and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. Overall, I’m happy with my stay!

It was a great stay for 4 days with my husband. We had a good service especially the receptionist are very helpful. Location is good. We received a welcome drinks and cookies. Their breakfast is very delicious have lots of choices every day. We will surely recommend to our friends.

Our stay at this hotel was a delightful surprise. My family and I spent five nights here and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of options—from fresh fruits to authentic Chinese dishes—something for everyone to enjoy.The complimentary coffee in the main lobby was a thoughtful touch, especially after a full day of exploring the city. Our room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge.A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were consistently helpful, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beijing!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated that coffee was always available in the lobby, and the staff had translator devices for more complex conversations. There were also able to quickly get us a taxi during rush hour, for which we were thankful.||Some suggestions:|- The allergen labeling cards at the breakfast are a total joke. I have to eat gluten free, and I saw MANY items that clearly had gluten (like bread) listed as gluten free. This is not a safe space for people with allergies.|- I think we can to manually scroll up to channel 60 on the TV before we found one in English. Dispersing them a bit might be more respectful to international tourists.|- The luggage storage service was appreciated, but a bit insecure. Our luggage was left adjacent to the lobby all day, and when we returned for it, the staff were all busy, so we just went in and took our luggage. No one asked any questions. Basically, anyone could have taken it. It'd be nice if they put the luggage in the back, behind a closed/locked door, for security.

Holiday inn is a good choice for travelers visiting Beijing. The staff workers are friendly and nice. I left a couple things in my room and they went above and beyond and had it sent to my home in another province. They even covered the costs of shipping! The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options and the over service and vibe was fantastic!! Will book again when I’m in Beijing!

I would like my review to be a Thank You to all the hotel staff who were kind, professional, helpful and welcoming. The hotel offered a wonderful breakfast, complimentary coffee (cappuccino and more) daily, a fairly good room (both the biggest, but cozy, and clean, and 4 bottle of water daily). Ben, front desk staff, spoke English as well. Very nice man. We have an exceptional stay. Very reasonably priced as well. Hotel is located in a welcoming neighborhood made up of locals, restaurants, schools, etc
