Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Whitefield Itpl, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Whitefield for one night and had a comfortable experience. The room was simple and not too big, but thoughtfully designed and the large window with seating made the space feel warm. The bed was comfortable and gave me a good night's sleep. The bathroom consisted of a separate shower and toilet with a separate washbasin, and they were clean, which is very important to me. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast there. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff was friendly without being over the top. The location is perfect if you have work in nearby tech parks like ITPL which is just a 5 min walk. It was an easy and pleasant stay that didn't try too hard, and that's what I appreciated.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Whitefield for just one night, and I genuinely wasn’t expecting to be this impressed by the wheelchair-accessible room. I’ve stayed at enough hotels to know that most places treat “accessible” and “usable” like two totally separate things but here, it actually worked together. From the entrance to the accessible washroom in the main lobby, to my room, everything just worked for me. No jugaad, no struggle, no awkward adjustments. I felt independent, comfortable, and honestly… cared for. A big thank you to the entire team for the hospitality and the effort you put into making the space truly accessible. It made a real difference to my stay.

This is one of the most pathetic hotels, i have ever stayed in my entire life. The lobby smell of stale food and the cleanliness levels are super pathetic. I checked in around 4 pm and they are saying we did not clean since mrng .then they just sprayed some air freshner The front desk as well as other staff are super lazy and good for nothing, but still feel that they are super entitled. I asked for water bottles to be delivered, which never came in the entire day. Gym towels - I asked at reception, they said we will send in the gym but never came. The front desk staff is super ignorant and slow to respond. The food menu during dinner is like a mess...and food quality isn't good. During breakfast the food counters are spilled with food and no one bothers to clean them as well. It's a total sham. I would request all to exercise caution before booking in this one ..better stay in any other place than this one .

I stayed here for over a week during a business trip because my usual options were unavailable at the last minute — and it turned out to be one of my worst hotel experiences. First, the reception failed to clarify during check-in that instead of simply blocking the amount on my card (as most hotels do), they would charge 100% of the stay upfront. This effectively removes the option of checking out early if the services turn out to be substandard. Second, on the very first night, I noticed cockroaches in the dining area, right next to the buffet spread. I immediately informed the staff and reception and clearly told them I wouldn’t dine there unless a deep cleaning was assured. Despite this, for the next eight days, the staff saw me collecting Zomato orders for every meal — yet no one bothered to offer any assurance about cleaning the kitchen or dining area. There were several other service issues as well. The most frustrating one was that towels went missing after daily housekeeping, and I had to request them separately every single day. Overall, a deeply disappointing stay with poor hygiene, unclear policies, and lack of basic service etiquette. Would not recommend.

The staff members are great and pleasant to deal with. Hotel cleanliness especially air quality is a big concern. The air is quite stale and it is masked with fresheners which starts impacting you within few hours especially if you set AC to warmer temperatures. The room design also does not isolate toilet smell which increases the odour.

Stayed at Holiday Inn for 3 days. Overall, it was a decent experience but with a few drawbacks. 1. Check-in - The standard check-in time is 3 PM IST. I had enquired earlier and was informed that early check-in post 11 AM would be complimentary, and before 11 AM it would cost ₹1500 + GST. However, when I arrived around 12:30 PM, I wasn’t allocated a room immediately, which was disappointing. 2. Food – The food was okay, not the best. Breakfast was complimentary with my booking. 3. Rooms – Rooms were compact and neat, but felt quite suffocating since the windows couldn’t be opened and there was no balcony for fresh air. 4. Air Conditioning – The room temperature became uncomfortably hot during the night, and my colleagues staying in other rooms faced the same issue. During the day it was super cool. 5. Location – Excellent location in a prime area, with easy access to Ola, Uber, and Namma Yatri. 6. Lavatories - Bathroom and Restrooms were separate. Bathroom had Dove shampoo and body wash. Hand wash sync also had dove hand wash. 7. Complimentary - Kettle was available with coffee , tea bags, sugar bags and a cup. Two small sized water bottles were given. Tip: Keep the check-in timings in mind and plan your arrival/events accordingly.

My overall experience was below average. The rooms were too small, and the biryani I ordered was not up to the mark. The gym was quite disappointing it barely qualified as one. For a 3-star hotel, I expected much better. The only reason I booked this place was its proximity to my office. Even the breakfast experience was unsatisfactory there was a lack of basic cutlery, and on one occasion, I had to skip breakfast entirely because bowls were unavailable despite waiting for a long time. This wasn’t an isolated incident; several of my colleagues have faced similar issues.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The rooms are *unacceptably small*, and the showers are a joke - they're so tiny that I couldn't even open my arms to wash properly. The rooms also have a *strong, unpleasant odor*, which made my stay even more uncomfortable. To add to the list of issues, there were *no toiletries provided* in the room, which is a basic expectation from any hotel. The *breakfast options were severely limited*, and to make matters worse, there were *no plates, bowls, spoons, or forks* available. This lack of basic amenities was quite surprising. But what really took the cake was the *price discrepancy*. The online price showed ₹3,100 per night, but I was asked to pay a whopping ₹6,200. This is unacceptable and feels like a blatant rip-off. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The poor amenities, uncomfortable rooms, and blatant price manipulation make it a no-go for me.
