Holiday Inn Express Deer Lake, an IHG Hotel

I stay in a lot of Holiday inns as well as Hotels and this is one of my favourites, the staff are all so friendly, the place is always very clean as well. The rooms and property are very well maintained. Front desk clerks are always very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. The manager as well has no trouble speaking with guests for any reason. Love this Hotel! Thank you to the staff and management.

We usually stay once a month, always love how clean The hotel rooms are and the staff are so sweet and kind and very helpful. Breakfast this morning had a little issue with the pancake maker, and the girls kept trying to fix it until it made perfect pancakes. Thanks Miranda. See you all next month.

Late arrival after long week of travel to what I thought was a little higher priced for winter. However, I quickly see why when I experienced an exceptionally clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was even cleaner. Breakfast is a few steps above most hotels in the Atlantic provinces. Well done staff and management.

We only live 90 minutes away but wanted a Family getaway for Christmas. Arrival was quick and staff were friendly; room was clean and comfy; location of take out options was close by and delivery options were convenient; pool and slide were a lot of fun except pool water was a little cold! My 8 year old didn’t care and spent 6 hours in it only to stop for some food lol

We stayed this time for 3 nights and it was so relaxing. Hotel staff was wonderful, room was very clean and up to standards. Hot breakfast was delicious and different options offered. Great noise barriers. Overall wonderful stay.

Stayed here one night while away on business. The staff are great. The room (King bed with Jacuzzi and fire place) was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was great with many options, including gluten free. The pool and exercise room are small but get the job done. Everything was clean. The only downside was thin walls. The hotel was fully booked due to a children's sports event in the area. As a light sleeper, I had a rough night as I could hear people in the other rooms, hear every door shut in the area, hear people talking in the parking lot, and hear people walking in the room above me. Oh, and no blackout curtains.

Stayed two nights here at the beginning and end of our trip. Easy access to YDF. I would say this is a better than average Exress Hotel. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Plus, they have a to go breakfast available at 3am. You'll see much of the hotel departing at that time to catch the 5am flight to Toronto. Good place!

My stay was good. The room was comfortable complementary breakfast. Overall experience was good. I was here for only a few hours because I had to catch a plane and at 3:30 in the morning complementary breakfast was ready.
