Holiday Inn Express Lille Centre by IHG

This hotel is a nice budget friendly option, with small but clean rooms. The bathroom was pretty clean, with shampoo and soap available and a hairdryer outside by the mirror. The breakfast is, to me, one point they could really improve. Not many options to choose from, but gets the job done. The highlight is definitely the location right near the center of Lille, close to markets, restaurants and museums. Something to keep in mind: the parking is really a puzzle experience. The parking spots are very tight - even with a small car such as a Golf, and has a very steep entry/exit.

Enjoyed a few days here recently, the hotel is in a great central location but best of all was the staffing of the hotel. Everybody was extremely polite, friendly and helpful at all times and made our stay very enjoyable!! Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Lille. Many thanks, Simon and Elaine.

Reasonably priced hotel not far fron Lille Centre, with all the basics right, from clean rooms, excellent showers, friendly helpful multilingual desk staff and an upgraded Continental style breakfast included. |We were allowed to book in early, which was a huge bonus as we had arrived mid morning with too much luggage to wander about with.|Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly but overall the hotel needs some refurbishment and updating. Central lobby was okay but stairs/lifts were old. |20 minute walk to Euro Rail, 15 to Lille Flanders station. 15 minute walk to old town and area around hotel okay but not much|My room was small with a massive bathroom which was well appointed ed. Temperature was okay even though you had no control over it but imagine at other times of the year an issue. No safe, wardrobe (just rail) or iron.|No restaurant onsite but no issue as so much within walking distance|Breakfast was good but with limited choices |Room was noisy from outside and also being next to the lift. Corridors also small

We had a great stay at the Lille Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean, with comfy beds and a lovely breakfast. It is situated pretty central to the city, with about a 10mins walk to the main squares. The below ground parking worked well and was useful, not too busy, so we got a space. The staff at breakfast were amazing, running around refilling the food. My daughter is a Coeliac and Antoine was so helpful and kind, warming her fresh gluten free bread each morning! Thank for the amazing service Antoine! We'd definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Lille.

Friendly guy dealt with us on arrival. Very handy that they have a car park,looks a bit imposing for some at first, I have a bigger car but managed just fine. Room is clean and modern with a great shower.

Pleasant stay in the centre of Lille. Great friendly check in. Lovely room on the top floor. Very close to the city centre and easy walking. It was 20min walk from the Eurostar terminal to the hotel, with sightseeing on the way. I took the bus tour on my first morning which is good to see all the sites before exploring on foot.

Rundown area: rundown buildings, garbage smell, homeless people, not very clean. Tiny standard twin room, mediocre air condition, loud night human street noise (shouting, loud speaking, laughter etc.). Acceptable room service. Breakfast low/sparse on fresh fruit and vegetables. One plus: continuous automated mineral water supply in the hotel lobby; very spacious comfortable hotel lobby endowed with tables, chairs and sofas.

Location is great! Next to the city center and also 3 minutes to the metro. Service and reception were really great and helpful. The room is comfortable and for the price is really good deal.
