Functional, Clean, and Well-Located property Holiday Inn Express Macau City Centre
We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Macau City Centre for two nights, and it served the purpose perfectly for a short business trip. It’s a no-frills, business-style hotel that delivers on essentials, clean rooms, reliable service, and a strategic location.
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the main casinos and city centre, making it convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. The surrounding area is dotted with local eateries, giving you plenty of food options if you want to explore outside hotel dining.
Rooms are compact but efficient, ideal for solo travelers, couples, or business stays. If you're looking for space to stretch out, this might feel tight, but it’s well-maintained and has everything you need.
The buffet breakfast spread was decent, with both Asian and Western options. For vegetarians, the choices are basic but manageable: bread, greens, cornflakes, milk, and fruits. The unexpected star of the menu was their custard dumplings — soft, warm, and delicious. They were available both mornings and became an instant favourite.
A nice touch is the 24x7 tea counter at the reception, offering green tea and bamboo tea, which adds a bit of comfort after a long day. There’s also a small bar if you’re looking to unwind without heading out.
Overall, a solid option for budget-conscious travellers or short business trips which is clean, efficient, and well-located.
