Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee Downtown by IHG

The four days I spent at Holiday Inn were amazing. The breakfast was wonderful the front desk, Carlos the manager and the beautiful young lady at front desk in the morning were all amazing. I was very satisfied with my stay. The valet service was fast and efficient. The morning shift alex the valet driver was amazing quick and profession with getting my vehicle and was very nice. The three second shift valet I dealt with while staying at the hotel for the names. I do remember one of them started with a Z another one name was Simon if I’m not wrong Eugene now the first two I named Z and Simon. For the first two days, they were moving a bit sluggish but was friendly and helpful even gave me directions to the closest bars or restaurants Eugene he’s not a bad valet he is friendly, but I feel like he be trying too hard to try and get a tip and it made me feel a little uncomfortable but other than that my overall experience was 10 out of 10

The parking sucks. Got a parking parking garage is that are outrageously priced the USB plug-ins in the room are all broken some of the regular plug-ins by the bed don’t even work. The coffee maker doesn’t work. The air vent in the bathroom doesn’t work. The thermostat is crazy. You either are super hot or super cold. There’s no in between Great people. Great breakfast but the rooms need to be taken care of.

Had a lovely stay the night on May 30th. I asked for an early checked via email and they got back to me right away and said yes which was super convenient! The room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was so good. Valet was super convenient and you can request your car via a link. Great location downtown! Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night as my wife and I went to summerfest. Location was great, right off the interstate and about a 10 to 15 min walk to the summerfest grounds. Got there right at check in time and there was no wait, had me all set in less than 5 minutes, painless. Parking was not an issue. 2 large parking ramps right next to the hotel. Room was decent size, clean and modern and bathroom was quite nice as well. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, not the worse but by no means gourmet, which I wouldn't expect it to be. Check out was no problem either, used the app and was able to just leave the key in the room, no visit to the front desk needed. All in all would recommend staying here and will definitely be back should I need to stay downtown again.

This was a last minute trip due to an unexpected hospital stay of a family member so it was convenient that way, but I object to the "fees" they tack on which added more than 50 dollars to the room cost and then as a guest of the hotel you STILL have to pay to park your car (only parking I was aware of is in the garage across the street). Having misplaced my credit card, I was stuck in the garage for over 45 minutes and couldn't get any help to pay without the physical card to swipe. Nice free breakfast if you can find a place to sit (way crowded and not enough seating). They also wouldn't apply the senior discount after the bill got paid, so overall they really need to improve customer relations/service.

I was a guest at the hotel for just a night before heading out on vacation, I used the valet service and the young man you handled may car (Zamarion) he was very polite, pleasant. He talked with me as if I was family which I love that, we laughed about the music I was playing cause as the young people say(auntie) got swag. But overall I loved the service and Zamarion is a great addition to the company.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The front desk and the valets were wonderful! |Great location. Close to many bars and very good restaurants. Short walk to the Riverwalk. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great property. Great location. Walk to everything. The staff at the hotel were so nice. Great breakfast buffet. Lots of amenities. Park adjacent for $25. Laundry and nice fitness room. Just north of the third ward - about 7 minute walk.
