Excellent hotel location for cruise (Holland America, Princess, Oceana, etc.) arrival or departure. Only a $20 taxi fare to cruise terminal and $40 taxi to airport. Lots and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I felt safe walking around the neighbourhood during the day. We can’t say enough about the hotel staff. They are efficient, friendly and very professional. Rooms were great and up to Holiday Inn’s high standards. Nice breakfast buffet. I’d stressed about locating a hotel in the right location for the end of our cruise. Very pleased with this selection. Tip: Make sure you bring low denomination USD cash for taxis and tips. You can use your credit card in most stores, restaurants, hotels, etc. When you arrive at cruise port terminal (end of cruise) have USD cash ready for taxi plus small bag handling tip and expect it to be crazy busy and not well organized. We were relieved to arrive at the hotel and leave the cruise port chaos. :).

very quiet room, spacious, nice buffet breakfast, very good location. But above all the front desk staff were outstanding. Their English is excellent (every one we talked to) and they had good answers to every tourist-related question we threw at them. This was important to us because we were in an unfamiliar city and spoke only a little Spanish. Very helpful with luggage, money exchange tips, and booking airport taxi. The stars of this hotel are the staff!

Excellent Location brilliant staff especially the front desk who could not have been more frienly and welcoming.|The hotel is located in a safe part of Buenos Aires and walking out around the shops and eateries was a real pleasure.|Hotel facilities were good and although our room was a little noisy (we never found out what was making the rumbling noise) it didn't spoil the stay. The room was well equipped and clean with every thing you need. Breakfast included was excellent, well stocked with a great variety of fresh and cooked food well presented.|We would definately stay again when visiting Buenos Aires.

Great location, walkable to the port restaurants, happy hours, The Woman Bridge, Presidential Palace, etc. The staff was very helpful! We got to Buenos Aires very early morning and there was a room available so we were able to check in early for a very modest price. We flew to Iguazu Falls a couple days later and the hotel kept our large bags for free since we were returning in 3 days. The breakfast is more than adequate, with a nice variety of fruits, cheeses, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Coffee and tea was always available in the breakfast area. There is a small self service area with beverages, including wine and beer, snacks, sandwiches, wraps, and salads where you complete a form and the items are charged to your room. The rooms are large, the AC worked perfectly, and the bathroom was well stocked with lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. I was the only person using the small gym at different times of the day. There is a nice view of the port from there as well. The rooftop balcony is NOT open.

This place really makes you feel welcome. The beds are wonderful, rooms spacious and staff spectacular. If you are cruising out of BA, this is the place to stay.||There is a breakfast area which is open 24/7 when they have an honour system self serve kiosk. ||They have a wonderful arrangement with some local restaurants so you can order in and the hotel puts the charge on your room. We had the staff place the orders for us as the app that supplies information, when you tap on the restaurant to place an order, it doesn't work.

The reservation process on the IHG website was easy. |After Customs at EZE airport, we purchased a transfer from On Baires Transfers at the first kiosk on the left, and charged 23,000 Argentinian pesos for the 30-minute drive in busy traffic to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel prior to check in time, and were very happy to be able to use the downstairs seating areas, restrooms, and the breakfast/vending area, and to store our luggage.|The hotel location, rate and the desk, valet, and breakfast staff members were all great. The room was clean and spacious. It had good lighting, mirrors, Wi-Fi, and a good layout with a separate shower/toilet/ bidet area, a spacious closet and vanity counter, and a bar sink. The air quality was good, though the humidity did get a bit high, up to 61%, in the morning after rain at night. The window opened slightly. The bed was firm but I slept well. Breakfast was quite extensive and I was delighted with the hot churros and warm pastries. |We reserved a Riverview room, and were delighted to be able to see our ship in the harbor in the morning. If you don’t have a Riverview room, you can go up to the top floor and see it from the gym’s outdoor terrace. |I would happily stay at the Holiday Inn Express Puerto Madero again.

We stayed at this hotel twice on a family trip. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the location is convenient. The air conditioning worked rather poorly, however. We had to move to a new room during our first stay because the unit wasn't working at all. The second one was better, but a bit loud. The breakfast at this hotel was extremely disappointing, especially after coming from Brazil. There were very limited options and they would run out. All the yogurt was sweetened, the juice was full of sugar, and the coffee was tasteless.

Great location, but be aware that there is no parking garage available. The nearest parking garage was about 7 blocks away from the hotel, which is really an inconvenience if you are arriving late or leaving early in the morning. Our experience with the front desk guy (night time shift was not the best). When I asked where people park, he said, "I don't know, I don't own a car." The security man was actually a lot more professional and friendly, and he advised us where we could park.
