Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay, an IHG Hotel

Great location. Very walkable or easy for Grab pick up. We were able to walk to the Clarke Quay Central easily…we even walked to the merlion! Super easy. Breakfast was decent. Everything is very clean. It smells really good when you walk into the lobby. The outdoor seating area is great! Peaceful atmosphere and comfy seating. There is a bar behind the lobby-May did the perfect pour on our Tiger beers! Rooms are simple, but have everything you need. Rain shower has good pressure and water temperature. The sink also has a spout for drinking water! Pool is nice with a jacuzzi next to it.

The staff here are amazing professionals they are the biggest asset to this hotel. We found the rooms to be a little compact. However had everything needed for a good sleep, shower and a very good choice of breakfast. The location is a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport ( £24 fare ) there are luggage trollies available at the main entrance a very welcoming facility when travelling with lots of luggage. If you are a hop on hop off bus fan there are 3 stops around the area of the hotel all approximately 10 mins walk away. There are amazing transportation facilities MRT and local buses ( use you debit tap to ride ) very easy to navigate. Everything anyone could need is within a pleasant walking distance. Bars shops restaurants. We needed umbrella ☔️ during our visit which was provided by the hotel free of charge. Take time to go out on the roof top if only for the view. There is a large building site in very close proximity to the hotel. This was not a problem for us. We was out exploring most of the day time then out in the evening it seems the working day ends at 5 PM not sure what time they start as it was never a problem for us during our 5 night stay . Beautiful hotel! Rooms are small but very comfortable! Breakfast had lots of options. Infinity rooftop pool was clean and enjoyable. Staff, especially Serena in the breakfast room were pleasant and helpful. 10 out of 10!

We arrived after a long overnight flight shattered and were greeted with total warmth and kindness. Once rested and after we had explored for a short time we were greeted by Andre at the bar. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, & looked after us like we had been friends for a long time. He and the rest of the staff here have made our stay very pleasurable and I am so glad as we are going to be returning here next week. We look forward to seeing Andre and his warm hospitality as well as all the others here at the Holiday Inn.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location, a short walk to Clarke Quay, Robertson Quay, Fort Canning MRT and park. If you are a little more adventurous you can easily walk to Chinatown. Rooms are small however very comfortable, modern design with high ceilings and windows. Beds are super comfortable and the air conditioning is probably the best I've experienced in a hotel room, which is a welcome treat after a long day out in the heat. Lobby and dining areas are beautifully designed and are very welcoming. The outdoor area has large fans and is surrounded by trees and plants creating an oasis. The included breakfast was good, not great, but did offer a variety of dishes with something for everyone. Rooftop garden and pool are amazing and offer a wonderful view of the city. There is some construction work going on adjacent to the hotel however you do not hear a thing in the hotel, it is soundproofed very well. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so memorable.

Overall experience was great, less the construction noise (uncontrollable). Booked a standard room. Although slightly small, it fit my needs. The bathroom is slightly cramped, but does have a beautiful walk-in shower. Toiletries were provided if needed. The bed was comfortable, however there was a new sky rise construction site across the street from the lobby side. This led to lots of noise (banging, drilling, etc) throughout the day which was bothersome at times. The rooftop featured an infinity pool, two cold jet tubs and a gym facility. In the early morning you can see stunning sunrises with the Marina Bay Sands in the distance. Free breakfast was offered in the lobby between the hours of 0630-1030 on weekdays and 0630-1100 on weekends. The hotel is roughly 10-15min from 3 different MRT stations. Great value for $220CAD/night

The location of Holiday Inn Express at Clarke Quay is perfect - close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay. Beds & bedding were comfortable & we all slept well during our stay. We had adjoined rooms to accommodate us & our 2 teenage kids…. Small & compact rooms, but perfect for coming back to rest in between sightseeing & shopping trips… All the staff friendly, pleasant & helpful…. Great Coffee available at breakfast!

My wife and I found our room more than comfortable and adequate for our needs. The hotel is situated in a good position for easy access to all facilities. The reception team was professional and efficient and made the checking in procedure very easy. Our room was cleaned each day to a high standard. Breakfast is provided and all the crew involved in this part of our stay were excellent and I would like to mention ,in particular, Serene - nothing was too much trouble.
