Holiday Inn Express Wilmington North - Brandywine, an IHG Hotel

My recent stay at Holiday Inn Wilm North was spectacular. I booked this stay very last minute and I was still able to get checked in quickly and assigned to an amazing room. The room was clean and in a great location of the hotel, not too much noise and a nice view of the other hotels in the surrounding area. There are nearby restaurants that are super close and walkable. I enjoyed our 2-night getaway here and will book again if necessary. My only issue was the breakfast was pretty limited and no milk for my cereal.

I was pleased with my stay from check in with Diane to check out. Diane was very welcoming & accommodating. I really enjoyed her customer service. She made me feel valued. The room was clean & bed comfortable. Top of the line linens. First class room. Breakfast was very good especially the warm cinnamon buns. Marcia kept the food coming & area clean. Great worker always doing something to keep guests happy. Check out great too. I will return.

A pretty decent hotel, all things considered. However, the showers are not particularly warm, and when I asked for a corkscrew, the clerk said they didn't have one. I didn't believe her, so I walked to the Marriott next door and opened my wine bottle. That's where I'll be staying next year.

The hotel was a nice surprise. The front desk attendant was warm and welcoming and although the lobby was small, the beverage station was well stocked and inviting. Our room was clean and our bed was very comfortable. The location was central to the activity we were in Wilmington for and there were a plethora of dining options. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

My stay here over the first weekend of September was great. Staff was friendly and fast when checking in. The hotel seemed in nice shape, and the room was pretty sweet. AC worked, nice and cold lol. Just a light stain on the shower faucet, and I couldn't get the guide on the TV to pop up. but no big deal. Free breakfast was great. Got to love real bacon lol. I will definitely come back again when the time calls for it. Thanks for a great stay

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. Rooms were cleaned each day with fresh towels, water, and beds made. Many places do not have everyday service these days. It was convenient to I95 and restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Poor customer service, particularly in the breakfast area. The woman running it scolded me for "taking too much oatmeal" (4 packets...I was hungry) and they never stocked any of the cinnamon rolls, cookies, pancakes, etc. There is no pool either, no idea what the other guests are talking about. The rooms were pretty nice, the Philadelphia airport is about 30 minutes away and it's near a bunch of stores and restaurants, so points for that, but their staff really needs an attitude adjustment...

The hotel was decent although on the App it showed as a newly remodeled brand new which was not the case when we showed up. The rooms were decent, but the service was terrible. Front desk was either non existent or didn’t want to help. The best part was the breakfast! Went down at 8:45 with no cinnamon rolls, no pancake mix, the rest of the bacon / eggs were picked over and the bananas looked like they took the long boat ride from Costa Rica. Just as a reminder I understand this is a free breakfast that goes till 9:30 but I was told when they are out of food they are out. Also got yelled at for taking two yogurts when there was no sign that said I couldn’t. In fact the sign on the table said go back for seconds along with a tip jar for the individual running the morning breakfast… psh if you can afford to charge me $150 a night you can afford to give me a free 3 ounce yogurt. Overall, disappointed with the stay.
