Holiday Inn Johannesburg - Rosebank by IHG

We spent a very comfortable night in the Rosebank Holiday Inn. Spacious room and equally spacious bathroom. Service staff were excellent from Reception to restaurant staff. Breakfast the next morning (although not included in our rate) was excellent with a wide variety on offer from fresh fruit, bread/pastries and cereals to Al la carte hot breakfasts cooked to order. We couldn’t fault our stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While visiting Johannesburg, my husband and I had a wonderful experience at Velvet, located inside the Holiday Inn in the Rosebank area. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the vibe was relaxed yet upscale. Mcebo truly made the experience exceptional. His service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. He ensured everything was perfect and made us feel well taken care of. If you’re visiting Johannesburg, especially the Rosebank area, Velvet at the Holiday Inn is absolutely worth dining at. Outstanding service and a great overall experience. — Corey & Monica Mason

Our room was very nice and spacious with a gorgeous view of the sunrise in the morning and city lights at night😍.|Great location, it's directly connected to the zone mall. Makes commuting easy, situated close to all major joburg routes. Gautrain station and the city hop on and hop off bus starts and ends right outside the hotel! The front desk team is amazingly friendly and welcoming! The food was great! The best breakfast buffet ever! There was a lot of options to choose from.||We also had a great experience at the bar during the happy hour sessions, beautiful cocktail varieties and the staff was too good! Good vibes and exceptional services throughout!|It was all in all a 100/10 experience😁

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! One of my favorite staff members was Percy at the bar! So kind, funny and accommodating. Quinton at the front desk was also such a sweet person to work with. I had a great visit at this hotel!

At check in, a very flamboyant man thought it good to share his political views with us, saying he hates the USA and the world is better off without the USA and how much he loves Putin. We should get rid of the USA. I was born in the USA and I also noticed that there were many Americans staying at the hotel. Now, I am not going to get into a political discussion here. The point is, it is completely out of place to express these views to any guest. I found this a very interesting way to greet guests. Very much out of pace and unwelcoming. It definitely ensures that I will never stay at this hotel again. Or the group for that matter. The room was OK but the air conditioning could not be adjusted. The bathroom walls are glass, so it doesn't give you any privacy to do your business. The hotel restaurant was also out of savignon blanc. Entirely. They had not a single bottle or glass?

Service was excellent as expected, friendly and efficient staff. Prices for food and drinks was very expensive. Food portions much smaller than last year, though buffet breakfast was great. Room had a few issues with bathroom door not closing, TV channels not always working and blurry, as if watching VHS. However, still highly recommend

Sinolwethu provided an absolutely wonderful dining experience! She is incredibly attentive, genuinely kind, and has a great sense of humor that made my meal even more enjoyable. Her service was impeccable—thoughtful, prompt, and always with a smile. Highly recommend asking for her if you want your experience to be seamless and memorable!

Located right beside Rosebank mall, this hotel is a perfect place to stay in Johannesburg. It has easy accessibility to restaurants, mall, supermarket. The room was well kept, breakfast was top notch, secure basement parking are few of the many things that this hotel offers!
