Holiday Inn Johannesburg - Rosebank by IHG

Our room was very nice and spacious with a gorgeous view of the sunrise in the morning and city lights at night😍.|Great location, it's directly connected to the zone mall. Makes commuting easy, situated close to all major joburg routes. Gautrain station and the city hop on and hop off bus starts and ends right outside the hotel! The front desk team is amazingly friendly and welcoming! The food was great! The best breakfast buffet ever! There was a lot of options to choose from.||We also had a great experience at the bar during the happy hour sessions, beautiful cocktail varieties and the staff was too good! Good vibes and exceptional services throughout!|It was all in all a 100/10 experience😁

At check in, a very flamboyant man thought it good to share his political views with us, saying he hates the USA and the world is better off without the USA and how much he loves Putin. We should get rid of the USA. I was born in the USA and I also noticed that there were many Americans staying at the hotel. Now, I am not going to get into a political discussion here. The point is, it is completely out of place to express these views to any guest. I found this a very interesting way to greet guests. Very much out of pace and unwelcoming. It definitely ensures that I will never stay at this hotel again. Or the group for that matter. The room was OK but the air conditioning could not be adjusted. The bathroom walls are glass, so it doesn't give you any privacy to do your business. The hotel restaurant was also out of savignon blanc. Entirely. They had not a single bottle or glass?

Perfect for my short stay in Johannesburg. Breakfast is good. Business center accessible 24h. Bae staff very friendly and communicative, even when not a patron. Staff at check-in are courteous and with humor. Thank you all for contributing to my birthday trip with you kindness. Quinton was kind enough to bring me towels and give me a late checkout. Aubrey, night manager, was instrumental in the positive experience as well. Looking into a package I was sure I'd purchased. You all put the Holiday Inns in the U.S. to shame. Thank you for everything. See you all the next time I visit Johannesburg, and I will be.

I traveled from Grand Cayman Islands with my wife to Holiday Inn Rosebank. We had a great stay, great team and their genuine service. Big up to these few team members who we interacted during our stay. Karabo who checked us in ,Alex who checked us out Restaurant team was great Dony, Thulani,Nara, Busie Thank you we will definitely come back

The hotel is located near/in a shopping mall and numerous restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of things to do in the local area. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. We stayed in a king room which was spacious and clean, with a good size bathroom. We found that the hotel was located in a safe area though we did largely stay in the precinct of the mall and the restaurants.

As your old client, I have to complain about the bad reception service of the recent stay on 06 Oct 2025. 1. No IHG Plantimun member recoginize 2. No room upgrade 3. No welcome fruit or snacks 4. No free single breakfast (when there is no room upgrade, some IHG hotel will give clients a free single breakfast) 5. There was a long hair in bathroom 6. There was no shower mat in bathroom and the bath & shower are two in one and very slip. 7. No welcome 500 points to instead of no welcome snacks, only received the 500 points after complained to IHG side. 8. Receiption staff is lack of education. If you are IHG member, I dont suggest you stay in this hotel, no respect of IHG member.

I loved this Hotel, however there were a few things that erked me....|When we arrived and checked into our room, just having a little nap, all of a sudden, another guest came into our room! He had obviously been given the wrong key, but that's not cool.|Then, each time we left our room, the key wouldn't work in the elevator to take us up to our level, so we'd have to go to reception and get it fixed.|That first night, we couldn't turn off the air-conditioning and had to call maintenance. He managed to turn it off and then bring us a portable heater.|My final erk was our broken toilet seat, not great!|Despite these few things, we had a great stay, the location was safe and the hotel is connected to Rosebank Mall, which was awesome, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.|I would highly recommend staying here, and I also noticed the Hop On Hop Off bus stops right out the front of the hotel.

Friendly staff. Let us check in early into one of our rooms after a long international flight. Allowed us to hit the tourist circuit within two hours after landing! ||The ability to enter the mall (with a bunch of restaurants) without steeping onto the street was a major convenience and allowed us to eat dinner late without safety concerns.
