Overall, a good stay. The room had a slight carpet smell, and the work chair was broken. I requested a replacement, and while they did bring another one, the second chair had a broken headrest. Still, it was usable, so I didn’t mind too much. Breakfast was average — not great, but acceptable. Service was very good. The shower had strong water pressure, and the room was comfortable. I also found the pillow to be very comfortable, which helped me sleep well.

I really liked the service. Had booked a city view room but got upgraded to the sea view room. The view was lovely. Service was excellent. The only downside is the location as its right next to a flyover so either cross the road to go to the mall and other places or take a grab.

Fabulous one night stay. The staff are excellent and very professional and friendly while not being over intrusive. Room was comfortable and the air conditioning was cold enough to sleep. Was there for a night when it was not raining and the pool was a wonderful respite to do some laps although it got crowded after sometime when I was there. There is hot water in the shower and the toilet flushes perfectly fine. Lift can be quite slow and the toilet got a little slippery. Otherwise no complaints. free shuttle bus every two hours to the Main Street although I walked back twice as I wanted to do other things. 20 minutes to the central station and I paid 14 MYR at 3:30pm. very affordable. For those looking to redeem an award stay on points, Sunday night is your best option. Will come back again. There was some construction noises around 11am when I came back from the pool on a Monday to my room before checking out but that didn’t bother me too much.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Melaka and had a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, my Platinum status was warmly acknowledged, and I was graciously upgraded to a spacious junior suite with a stunning sea side view. This upgrade added a luxurious touch to my stay and made it all the more memorable. The club lounge access was excellent-a quiet, comfortable space with a great selection of refreshments and snacks throughout the day. The lounge staff were exceptionally hospitable, attentive, and friendly, always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made me feel truly valued. My junior suite was impeccably clean and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and a comfortable bed that ensured restful nights. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall and other popular attractions, with convenient shuttle services available. The hotel’s facilities are impressive, including a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea, a relaxing spa, and a well-equipped fitness center. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently provided excellent service, demonstrating genuine care and professionalism.

Accompanied my wife, with our kids in tow, for an event here. Coasted into a parking lot beyond the lobby. Ev charging bays sighted. Lobby is a vast volume of space, grand and inviting. The sweet-smelling lift and plush carpets lined our walk to our room. Pool view on a high-floor. Room furnishing, amenities, cleanliness - impeccable. Deserving of 5 stars.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. The check-in process was seamless, and I appreciated the helpful local tips shared by the team right away. My room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed—a super comfortable bed, excellent lighting, fast Wi-Fi, and a modern bathroom. Housekeeping was consistently thorough and attentive throughout my stay. A special shoutout to the kind gentleman at the front desk (a Malay staff member whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch). Upon learning I was traveling with family, he graciously upgraded us to a suite and arranged a rollaway bed to ensure our comfort—truly going above and beyond. I also want to thank the Indian gentleman at the Executive Lounge for his warm hospitality and helpfulness during our visits there. The entire atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing, making me feel right at home. Huge thanks to the whole team at Holiday Inn Melaka for making my stay so enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melaka!

The hotel has been newly refurbished, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, making our stay very pleasant. However, the lift situation needs urgent attention. With only three lifts serving the entire hotel, we had to wait almost 40 minutes during peak checkout hours. Please consider a solution—this is the only drawback in an otherwise perfect stay.

Last stayed in in 2014, after 11 years this is a massive upgrade. The renovated rooms are great, modern and functional. Internet did not disappoint, we connected a total of 5 devices and no one in the room complained. Breakfast was paid upfront during check in and it was a big spread and was enjoyable with variety to choose from. A big plus for us was that it was not crowded and we didn’t need to wait around for anything, it looks like the occupancy is low as my floor up on the 17 also was quiet. For that extra ‘something’ you can upgrade to the club floor benefits for RM$118 and allow 2 adults which serves breakfast and evening cocktails with a late checkout till 2pm.||We stayed in the family room with a king bed and twin, space was well thought off and although some of the fixtures are from the days of old, there is also new furnitures that makes up for the comfort.||Head out for meals as Melaka is famed for its food, of course if you are lazy and prefer to camp in, the hotel has good dining options available.||A special shout out to Night DM Kathiravan. He is a great asset to the Holiday Inn Melaka team.

The fanciest Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. Friendly staff, nice room, good amenities and restaurants are good. Had a great ocean view too. Ok, bye.

Nice hotel. Food is plentiful for their lunch buffet, but needs more instructions. For example, people in my group were confused about how the noodles were confused about how the noodle stand would operate (choose your items & noodles, then ask the chef to Cook them with the soup of your choice).

It's right opposite to mahkota parade and nearby dataran pahlawan with some walking distance. And also, you can really walk to taming sari tower, park, red house, St. Paul church, jonker street. A great place to stay. Free swimming pool, gym room. The hotel room itself got free newspaper delivered to ur doorstep, hair dryer and other services that a 4 star hotel should be. The bellboy is friendly, greet you whenever they saw you, 24 hours reception service. The room rate include the buffet breakfast. Breakfast variety start from bread, porridge, real fruit juice, Chinese corner, waffle, pancake, dessert, western corner, middle soup, dim sum and others~~ We are fortunate to stay in sea view room. As you see in the picture. Thanks for the great hotel staying experience.

This place was comfortable, location amazing and across from the Parade and a mall. The Parade - some incredible restaurants - the biggest and most delectable prawns imaginable. Mall across the street - has everything you need. The rooms here were comfortable, clean and spacious. Good sleep quality. The location is amazing - it is near all the tourist sites - and the famous Jonker Street. Did not know what to expect when we booked it - but glad we did. I would definitely stay at that location again.
