This hotel in the southern part of Puerto Rico is gorgeous. The service is impeccable, super clean. We were there for one week and not once did we see an ant. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. We decided to have breakfast when we booked the hotel. The breakfast was well worth the price. Buffet style and everything that goes with it. The view from the room viewing the pool and The Caribbean Sea was beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that we had to go back home. I would definitely recommend this hotel away from the busy San Juan metropolitan area. By the way they have a nice casino opened for long hours. We are not gambler so we never used it. I would give this place a five stars.

Amazing Stay with a View! I had an incredible experience at the Holiday Inn Ponce & Tropical Casino. The view was stunning, the property felt safe, and the parking was easy and secure. The casino adds a fun touch to the overall experience. My room was spotless and comfortable, and I especially loved the pop-out table which allowed me to work while enjoying the ocean view. The food was also excellent—fresh and satisfying. My only critique is that breakfast isn’t included, and the $19 per person charge felt steep for a standard IHG-style breakfast. Also, there was no complimentary coffee, which would’ve been a nice touch. Overall, highly recommend this place and I’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly! The room was clean. We only stayed one night since we were going around the whole island and it was a very comfortable place. It was 4 of us so we need one more towel and Housekeeping did a great job with quickly getting that to us. Will definitely be returning!! Seems like a newly renovated place but very nice. We were also able to use the laundry with not problem!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were absolutely amazing — clean, modern, and very well-maintained. Every detail made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was also outstanding: they were cordial, respectful, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and warm attitude truly made a difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Google
Sorry we only stayed one night. Receptionist, Ian, was kind enough to check us in ahead of time, upon our early arrival. Every staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Breakfast included a wide variety of choices in a clean bright room next to the restaurant. Our room had a wonderful view over the swimming pool and the sea. The Casino adds a festive air to the hotel. We will go back for a longer stay.

Google
Well priced hotel. Good location for getting around near Ponce, although you do need to drive, you cannot walk anywhere from the hotel. Guánica and La Parguera are easily driveable. Rooms are quite nice. Breakfasts are good. The views from the hotel are lovely. Not a 5-star hotel, but a solid 4 stars and priced accordingly.

Google
This is a very pleasant property, and consistent with the Holiday Inn experience you would be likely to find at most any Holiday Inn anywhere in the U.S.. It is located high atop a hill and affords great views of the sea to the south. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.||The fitness room was fairly minimal, but it did have a decent elliptical machine, as well as towels and a water dispenser.||The only "watch out" of significance is that the hotel is a bit isolated, with nothing (like restaurants or shops) within walking distance. So, if you don't have a car, you may feel a bit trapped or isolated.||There is a casino attached but I did not check it out.||I also did not use the hotel bar or restaurant. For breakfast I ate at an IHOP 3 miles away.

We arrived at around 1:30PM to the hotel. It was our first time in Ponce, and we were eager to drop off our bags and explore the city. The front desk agent, Carolina, was the absolute best. She greeted us, made us feel welcomed, and accommodated our various requests. Carolina allowed us to check in early, gave us the highest floor, and the best view. She went above and beyond to explain the property to us, and even mentioned the possibility of late check out (being that we're IHG members). The room was extremely clean, and the property was easy to explore. I even won a little money at the casino, my first try at black jack at a table ;). I would recommend this property to anyone staying in Ponce, the view was amazing and the staff are excellent.

Yelp
We were here for 2 nights. The hotel is located on the hill, so the view is very nice. Our room is good with 2 queen bed. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is free and pretty good. Better than mainland US holiday inn. We had a good stay here.

Dana R.

Yelp
Tv didn't work for more than 3 days After complaining on the 3rd day the offered free continental Breakfast. Keep in my this hotel doesn't provide free Breakfast. But was overall very clean.

Yelp
I booked this place through Priceline. was not informed the place in under renovation until check in. Pool nor Restaurant are available. Still charged the full price. I traveled all night and asked for an early check in . they said earliest world be 1pm and it would be 75$. The whole Lobby is also being renovated so, a mess , you have to walk through and in between Construction. Went to have breakfast, which was a simple Continental breakfast, that was an extra 20$. I spoke with manager, the best they could was give me a voucher for breakfast. They still charged me for the first morning breakfast upon check out. Was there 4 nights and housekeeping was in twice. Toilet smelled like Pee even after. Garbage was left behind on top of counter. will never book this again. For the price, it should have been better. Discount would have been nice, but, they wouldn't even do that! So upsetting.

Yelp
Very unimpressed by this hotel considering it is a Holiday Inn. No vending machines. No room service. No shop for important items. Breakfast and dinner are the only food options offered during very limited times. I also requested a crib and had to wait until our second day here to get one. The pool area was very nice and a great view. However, this was the only good thing about the hotel. If you're staying in the Ponce area, definitely opt for an Airbnb or some of the local hotels.

Christy C.

Yelp
This was our second visit to the Holiday inn Ponce. If you look at their website on Expedia or any other sites it does not tell you that the hotel is under massive construction. Nor does it tell you that their pool is closed. They'll gladly let you go to a sister hotel to use their pool but what they don't tell you is they're going to charge your room $150 to go to the sister hotel to use that pool. Breakfast is not included with your stay but they will gladly allow you to come to the hotel restaurant which is in a conference room now because of the construction to eat breakfast. Again what they don't tell you is it it is $20 a person. Nowhere is it posted and only upon asking will they tell you. The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly but it seems very deceitful to have all of these underlying charges that you don't find out about until you return from your trip.

Yelp
Not a bad holiday inn, covid restrictions are a big inconvenience. But all in all it feels nice to have hot running water and a good shower, accompanied with an air conditioned room.

Christian S.

Yelp
The rooms are outdated but decent enough. Front desk are non welcoming, they look like they're angry and they're not usually there. There's no breakfast included, there's a few vending machines so you can get a snack and ice machine. It's close to many fast food joints and the plaza caribe mall so that's a plus.

Yelp
Not a good place to stay. The carpet in the rooms are really gross. Bed skirts are dirty. Sliding glass doors need a lot of windex. They are over the top with their "covid precautions". How about instead of spraying down my luggage, you clean your hotel rooms. Their furniture is falling apart. The rooms smells like mildew. We went to Walmart to get Lysol and cleaning products. We never even took our shoes off in the room

Paul R.

Yelp
Just got here so making my evaluation before my stay is over. First impressions? I made my reservations months ago and had plenty of rooms to choose from. You can choose City or Pool view. Having never been here prior I asked her the difference and which has the better view. She told me City. Went on her word. Check in I'm being told what isn't working and here is your room. My room? At ground level staring at a parking lot and two generators. Of course I am none too happy. Tell them the background and am told (in better terms) well that's the room you chose live with it. Also it's isolated up on a hill near nothing. Ask for a local restaurant and they tell me there is an IHOP near. They suck, the place sucks, and the casino looks very ghetto. Luckily I am only here a few days until I enjoy a nice place in Rincon.

Yelp
The Good: 1-People from the breakfast and maintenance were very sweet and the fruit was delicious! 2- the view is super nice and location great to get in the highway These are my reasons for the rating: 1-The rooms are just so old and the hallways that the smell is very bad (had feeling to throw up a few times from smells in the hallway). This hotel needs some real renovations. Pieces of the bathroom are falling apart. 2-My room had the old carpet very wet (all the way) and they could not move me of room after the maintenance people confirm there was an issue. 3- if your room is next to the laundry be aware of the constant amount of people and the terrible noise of the dryer. I recommend the hotel adds a door or something for this areas 4-No control for parking lot at all. Parking for people at the casino take priority and there is zero security for the hotel. Be aware for your safety. 5-the ladies in the front desk not very helpful and kind of arrogant (at least with me). Note that i had heard comments from people who stayed here and im not picky at all but the real experience was way worst than how people described it.

Yelp
Stayed here for my family vacation and was sadly disappointed they are in the process of remodeling but have a majority of their new rooms available but decided to put me and my family which booked 4 rooms in the oldest and most moldy smelling rooms with lights not working filters in air conditioners not changed and TVs not working and door locks not working (safety issue) . I complained about the accommodations the first 3 days with no help till I decided to contact the head office of the pR branch to report the hotel it was then when on the 4th of our 6 day stay they upgraded us to a newer room but only 2 out of the 4 rooms saying they had a wedding party already booked for the rest of the newer rooms to which we took what we could get and just all shared the two rooms and cancelled the last 2 nights in the other two rooms but all in all the updated were just paint and IKEA type wood furniture. Over all I wouldn't recommend this hotel and as a native Spanish speaker I don't look it so when I keep quiet around the maid staff with my child I asked a question in English and was answered in Spanish to which I understood and walked away but then heard the maid staff calling me and other guests idiots that need to learn Spanish or stay back in the USA to which I responded in Spanish that her supervisor needs to have a word with you once I find her. Stay clear of this place and just spend the extra cash on an air b&b in San Juan

Yelp
My father and I recently went to visit my uncle in PR, we decided it would be more convenient for all parties if we got a hotel. I booked Holiday Inn for a whole week after looking at the list of amenities and location. Upon our late night arrival, we were greeted by a very kind staff at the desk, got our room keys promptly and proceeded to our room. The casino was next to the lobby and they had a nice dining nook for breakfast and dinner with a bar. My father and I have the worst luck so we avoided the temptation of the casino. The dining area/bar was our spot. No smoking at all in the premises, not even the casino, so for my dad and I that was kinda sucky, but we played by the rules of course. I loved the pool, a perfect way to cool off on those hot days and it's cleaned daily. I have to give a shout out to Mike, one of the server staff that was cool to talk to and helped my out with my morning coffees, and a big fellow, I think Juan or Jose, that was part of the cleaning crew that was always smiling and loves his job and being of service. I will say we had an issue with the ice machines breaking down, but with the rolling blackouts all around the island i let that slide. The staff was professional and welcoming and I recommend this place if you ever find yourself in need of lodging in Ponce.

Yelp
We are giving this hotel 5 stars. It is located on top of a hill with gorgeous views of the of the ocean. It is about 10 minutes from old town Ponce and has a small casino attached. It is very clean and the rooms are updated and quite decent. The staff is overwhelmingly nice and accommodating. There is a large pool that also overlooks the sea and it is great to get to wherever you want to go. You'll need a car to get around but good value. The food is good too, but stay with the Puerto Rican cuisine and you will be surprised. Also has a small gym and game room for kids. As far as the casino, there are slots, tables and roulette. Newer slots so exciting and we had fun playing blackjack. It is smoke free completely and that is a great touch!

Yelp
The staff is friendly and attentive. The facility itself is pretty outdated. The pool area is nice. The pool was clean and nice to swim in but again, its all outdated. The rooms were clean but musty. Its very humid here and I'm sure all the power outages due to hurricane maria caused A/C to go out for a long period of time and caused the place to go dank. I would stay here again for the money as its away from San Juan and a lot quieter. It has a small casino attached that gets pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays. It had the best free continental breakfast I've had at a hotel that was included in my room rate.

Yelp
This is a great place to stay! Here's why. I arrived late from renting a car from San Juan airport and they worked me with in getting my husband cc approval via email as I was exhausted and tired from the long drive. The housekeeping and engineers and front desk were all SO VERY KIND AND NICE. which is is typical of Puerto Rico. Everyone is so nice. I'm from Washington DC. No one here is that nice. Trust me. They have a cute little casino and my room included breakfast which was good and you take order it and take it to your room. I also ordered from room service the churrasco and it was DELISCIOUS. They all speak English perfectly and the views are so beautiful. I'm pretty picky with hotel rooms. This place was great and not a bad price. I paid 149 and that included a pool semi ocean view, balcony and breakfast. Well worth it. And five minutes away is a walmart If you need anything. Also the person they use to take to the airport, the taxi service that is he is amazing and trustworthy and took me to San Juan airport. His name is Wilson. A very very kind man. I give this place a great review. I didn't take many pics bc I was there for only three days and busy worth work. It it's nice. I had a king bed and all new! Thank you to all at the Holiday inn at Ponce!!!! Stephanie Parsons Durante

Yelp
This hotel is ok, it is in desperate need of renovating. The staff are all very friendly and exceed expectations in the services. The breakfast is ok it is nice to be able to order eggs and sandwiches cooked to order would like to see some variety added to the breakfast buffet though. Hopefully some day the owners and IHG put some money into bringing this property up to standard with other Holiday Inn locations.

Yelp
We couldn't get a room at Hilton since they were all booked up, so my friends and I settled for Holiday Inn. This hotel is located on the top of a hill and actually has its very own free way exit! Fancy. The hotel is located actually about 10 minutes west of all of the action in Ponce so don't expect to be staying in the middle of the action. In a way, this is sort of nice. I felt like I was at a resort on the hill, and was content with spending some time relaxing and enjoying our room. Amenities were great. There's even a laundry machine on the ground floor. Prior to arriving at the Holiday Inn, we had just stayed at a variety of bed and breakfast/guesthouse locations, so we felt spoiled silly! There is a bar/restaurant area in the casino that is open late. We had some late night drinks and appetizers here. Because this is an American hotel, the prices were outrageous. I think we spent about $25 on a little plate of fried chicken and island fritters. But since it was late and we didn't feel like wandering around Ponce looking for food, we settled and paid for the expensive food here. The casino area is very small and consists of mostly slot machines and a few tables, nothing impressive. I found the customer service at the hotel to be excellent though and overall, really enjoyed my stay here.

Yelp
Really old and tired hotel. It's really a casino with a hotel attached that's in bad need of an update in time. And the breakfast, well go to McDonald's instead, cheaper and much better. It's nice for the location if you just need a bed only, otherwise not the best place for the money...unless you like to gamble...you'll like the casino. On the plus side parking is free. It's in back by the casino entrance. The pools nice, but closes at 8pm, so don't expect to cool off in the pool when you get in from a hot day outside.

Yelp
We loved our stay here. It is centrally located and easy to get to. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel manager treated us like family, working with my husband to make sure my birthday weekend was spectacular. Some of the hotel staff woke me up on my birthday morning singing in Spanish. They had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for me in my room when we got back from the beach. The trio that plays on Sunday nights was alerted of my special day and serenaded me with several songs. They went above and beyond. We will be loyal patrons of this hotel.

Yelp
I stayed here recently and we are having our out of town guests stay here as well, and I love it. The location it's spectacular on the top a hill which gives breath taking views of the Caribbean ocean. It is a Holiday Inn which means that it is affordable and it serves the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. This is not a resort so do not have the expectations of it. But for the price it's defenetly worth it. We were choosing to book our rooms between this hotel and the Hilton Resort near by, and I went for the Holiday Inn because it is more modern as for it is newer construction and the decor it's even more contemporary. To me the Hilton looked outdated and it is defenetly over priced. This hotel will defenetly take care of your needs, the staff is very accomodating and the overall experience was great. Will defenetly recomend it

Yelp
I needed somewhere to stay in Ponce for 1 night before going to the airport to return to NYC. I had previously stayed 4 nights at the Hilton (supposedly the #1 resort and hotel in ponce and the worst place I've stayed), so I tried to find something else. When I booked the Holiday Inn it cost me more than I anticipated, and I'm still not sure why I paid $140 to stay here. If you're staying in Ponce, the location is terrible- it's neither near the downtown nor the beach. The hotel itself is old and may have been glamorous in the 80s, but now it's just tacky colors, peeling paint, and an overall rundown look. I'm really glad I stayed here less than 12 hours. The service was fine at checkin and out. There is free parking. I have less complaints than the Hilton, but don't recommend either hotel.

Yelp
We (family) stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. Pros: Spacious and clean rooms; comfortable beds Breakfast was included and pretty good Nice pool Laundry room Very courteous and helpful staff, from the front desk and cleaning staff to the bartender and restaurant staff Free parking Good views of the ocean and the city Inexpensive (we got two rooms) Cable TV with HBO Cons: Terrible slow wifi Internet, which was basically useless (this was a big disappointment for us) The attached casino is a little depressing The location is a drive from everything; roughly 10 minutes from downtown Ponce

Yelp
Was excited when I got there. Hotel by the beach, with casino what else to ask. But it all vanished when I entered the walkway to the room. It smelled so bad like this place was closed for years. The room was mediocre and the mattress was shaggy. Apart from the friendly staffs there's not much to talk about this place. Breakfast was okay. It's a bit pricey given the condition of the hotel.

Blake L.

Yelp
Outdated, over priced, and dominated by the casino. I stayed here for over a month as I was working in Santa Isabel. Let's start with breakast... they say it starts at 6am, but it NEVER does. Sometimes they don't get the food out until 630... which is included in the room, but if you can't eat it because you have to work at 7 it gets a bit frustrating. The breakfast is the same everyday, but at least the scrambled eggs aren't from powder and are real. They serve scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast and moldy fruit. 8 of us went on a fishing charter (awesome experience) and caught 3 mahi mahi and 2 king mackeral. The manager at the hotel was nice enough to have it cooked for us at the restaraunt. They said they would just charge us $2 a person for place settings, etc.. There was 7 of us eating and somehow we got a bill for 50 dollars. That ok.. but what really pissed me off is that they wouldn't give us any of the fish back - and we had A LOT of fish. We had a HUGE cooler full of fish and now all of a sudden they were acting like it was theirs because they cooked 20% of it for us. I was really pissed - we had to pay for them to cook it and we gave them so much great fresh fish they probably turned into a special. The range of smells you get from your room ranges from a dirty sailors chin to a wet dog who ate the kitty food. We stayed in two different rooms. Both smelled so bad. They made the mistake of putting carpet in the hotel.. all over. If you notice, in tropical places they avoid carpet because it gets moldy from all the humidity. I ate dinner here once and it was mediocre, but my coworker told me he'd eaten at least 20 meals (dinner) and enjoyed it twice. He didn't eat elsewhere cause he's a fat american who is scared to get out and get some local fare. If you want to get a rollaway it will cost you 15 dollars a night! That was a first!!! The tv's are small, but they are flatscreens at least. If you're willing to spend the extra money I'd reccomend the Hilton, but it is pretty spendy.. I think 160 a night vs. the 110 we paid here. The one thing that was great about this place was the staff in the bar and front desk. They were always so nice to chat with!

Michelle B.

Yelp
One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Stained carpet, baseboards peeling off the walls, rusty and dirty lamps, cockroaches in the room. No food available after 10am. Extremely outdated and dirty. Outlets placed in inconvenient places to charge your phone. Room was so humid my walls and bathroom floor were wet. I literally had to go use the dryer to dry my damp clothes. Was told to change the temp to 62 degrees to avoid that issue, which is FREEZING and uncomfortable. Towels stunk. On top of that, the phone hardy worked, so my husband had to walk to the front to get assistance. I have family in Puerto Rico and understand the tropical whether, but even staying at my family's homes in the past I have never encountered such an issue with moisture indoors. I used my points for this trip so luckily I saved a bit of money, but honestly this stay was extremely disappointing, and I hope they make things right. At least update your rooms, come on now. It's 2020. This place is a motel at best. Trust me, save yourself the headache and STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! THEY KEEP DELETING MY REVIEW ON GOOGLE. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. PAY ZERO ATTENTION TO THE 5/5 REVIEWS. THEY ARE GETTING PAID.

Sara R.

Yelp
Was there in August, 2017. Service wasn't to bad. They just need to update the hotel a little more either the rooms. Dinning area was extremely to cold to be in there and by the time you ate your food was cold. Need to address these things to make it how it was years ago. When I use to go more frequently.

Yelp
The staff are friendly to a point, the hotel is in a private location and that's great but we really never felt overly comfortable, had two disagreements one with the hotel restaurant management and other with the hotel security, first the hotel security gave us hell because my kid that lives on the island came by for a visit and wanted to drop his back pack off in my room while we went out about on the island and security jump into action that wasn't allowed, I explain he's not staying in the hotel but that was an issue (stupid) I finally had to pay other 50 dollars to the hotel so we can be in peace, two the hotel restaurant the first two days we where told 8 dollars for each of us if your staying in the hotel for a breakfast buffet and 16 dollars if your not, then on the third day we where told we had to pay the 16 dollar for each of us and their explanation the employee got it wrong and never mind she worked at the hotel restaurant for many years, and finally the security in the building are like stalkers watching your every move you make, in-conclusion I'm happy this is my last day staying here I really never felt comfortable with the hotels behavior with my family.

Yelp
We stayed for 5 nights with our kids. Great value and easily accessible to Ponce and the southwest of the island. Nice views, friendly, bilingual staff, fast food and even a walmart close by. Free. WiFi! I have to say it provides an overall great value. The kids loved the police station. It is clean and comfortable...not luxurious. The restaurant could offer better prices and we found our beds not as comfortable, but that might just be us. We willl definetly be staying here again.

Yelp
Awful. First a list of what they don't have : hot water, competent staff, modern amenities, decent food, and a clue of how to run a hotel. Now for the long story: We "stayed" here for three hours. Arriving exhausted after a flight to San Juan and a long drive to Ponce we were starving and all wanted showers. We ordered room service, not expecting miracles but maybe a hot decent meal. NO SUCH LUCK. It was inedible. I was given soup that tasted like watered down dog food. This is not an exaggeration. It smelled and tasted like Alpo. After that charming food, I decided to take a shower. I turned on the water and waited a few seconds for it to get warm. Then a few minutes.Nothing. I turn to leave and the door won't open. I had to pound on the wall to get one of my family members to open it from the outside like a prison cell. Did Ariel Castro design this hotel? We called the front desk and no one answered so one of us went down to get help. Two maintenance men finally showed up and fixed the door by replacing the handle. Then they "fixed" the hot water by running both the tap and shower at the same time, which produced about 3 mins of hot water. Enough time for them to leave and dupe us into thinking it had been fixed. The excuse they gave us was that it took time for hot water to reach the 5th floor. Do these jibaros think we've never stayed in a hotel before? They also told us that Puerto Ricans shower with cold water. Uh huh ok. We're Puerto Rican so we were like "Um no.Nice try. Does that work on gringos?" Anyway shower attempt #2 produced 3 minutes of warm water followed by gulag cold. Once again a trip had to be made downstairs (their phones are decorative, I guess). Another attempt of the glorious "have two taps on at once" method failed. They offered us two other rooms, each one with equally cold water. The manager offered to go find a room that DID have hot water and call us when this precious gem had been found. We returned to the original room, packed, took one look at each other and decided to leave. I was exhausted, angry, and on the brink of tears. We called corporate from the car on the way to another hotel. A formal complaint has been lodged. My father is a platinum member at IHG and we have stayed at many Holiday Inns and never had such a terrible experience. PS: The other Hotel, Pichi's, had hot water immediately and it was the best shower I ever had :)

Yelp
We booked our room on Priceline and loved it so much we stayed 2 nights. The room was so clean and the AC felt amazing! We had spent the night before in a room through Air B-n-B without A/C. We felt like we had died and gone to heaven! The casino is cheesy and the bright lights mess with your eyes but it was a part of the culture I guess. There are some really good restaurants nearby with amazing views and the drive to the Ponce boardwalk was only 10 minutes. Its about a 30 minute drive to Guanica. The pool was huge and we had an awesome view of the ocean. Be clear, it's not ON the ocean, there is no beach access. It is high up on a hill but it was still a great stay.

Yelp
The Good: They had a sign on the highway, which was helpful for navigation. First impressions from their exterior were very positive. The hotel is situated on top of a hill, so the views are nice, whichever direction you're facing. The Bad: We were arriving from San Juan late in the evening, and leaving early the next morning to catch a ferry in Ponce. The room we were given was damp around the refrigerator and smelled musty for the duration of our stay. The walls and curtains were in poor condition, and in some places (where the wall was in disrepair, typically corners) there appeared to be some mold. Despite being overpriced, breakfast at the hotel is not included. We paid $15/person for a below-average eggs-and-bacon continental buffet. I don't expect a lot from Holiday Inn. I like them because they're reliably average. This hotel was disappointing, but didn't affect our vacation.

Yelp
Form the very moment you arrive house staff does anything to make your stay a pleasant one. I remember being in this hotel about 25 years ago when it use to have a Discoteque called "Holly's" and this is a completely new hotel. It has been remodelled and upgraded to modern standards. It is well maintained and very clean. House staff is always taking care of the property and cleaning at all time. I was surprised to see a maintenance person cleaning the lobby mirrors at 11:30p.m a Sunday night. It has a small casino and a pool. I stayed in a king bedroom suite and simply was spectacular and with nice view. It is more oriented to business travel and has desk, fridge and a microwave but it can handle very large crows. The reason I didn't gave 5 stars is because the small restaurant service was not that great and they don't have any source of night life (bands or music) except in the casino and there isn't enough space to dance. I stayed on Labor day weekend and hotel was full and I can say it was quiet and I was able to rest until noon without been disturbed. I will definitely come back and stay while I am in business at Ponce.

Yelp
Please do not stay here! They are not as close to the water as they indicate. Also I woke up this morning to large green bugs in my bed with welts all over my legs! The staff tried to say it was not from those bugs. How do you go to sleep with no bite marks to waking up with large red welts all over???

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights in December 2015. Great location, clean facilities and helpful staff. The restaurant on site was a pleasant surprise. Delicious food and much better that most restaurants around.

Yelp
Roaches in the room, parking lot is really for those going to casino, not those who reserve to stay there. Food is overpriced, as well as the nightly rate for what you really get. Room service doesn't always come and clean, when we checked out there was 3 days worth of trash in our room because room service didn't clean. The pool had some sort of slime that looked like vomit floating in it and the pool area was covered with bees. Also there were stray dogs on the property. You could hear the neighbors through the walls. There is security at the hotel, really just in the casino area. It seems like that is all they care about. Those who come to stay a few nights basically get thrown to the side. I paid a little more than 1000.00 for 6 nights there and it was so not worth it. The WiFi is also pretty shady. It constantly kicks you off or sometimes it just doesn't work. Customer service is completely non existent.
