"The Dead Sea, it must be said, is shrinking. Every year, evaporation causes the giant lake to get ever saltier and the water level to get slightly lower, turning the coastline into a series of cliffs with precious little beach. The hotel resorts that line the lake’s northern coast have bought up most of the remaining sand, offering ticketed access to non-guests. Of these, the Holiday Inn Resort has one of the best beaches. Buy a ticket (around $35 on weekdays and $63 on weekends and holidays), then follow the steep path downhill to the sand and you’re free to indulge in the time-honored tradition of trying to swim in the saltiest water on the planet. Good luck—even the simplest doggy paddle will leave you bobbing up and down like a cork. On the beach, you’ll find pots of purifying Dead Sea mud to slather on your skin. You can wash it off in the sea, but if you’ve given yourself a face mask, stick to the available freshwater showers—the extreme saltiness of the Dead Sea is not something you want to get in your eyes."

50/50 THE BEST HOTEL EVER! They were so kind and respectful I could have never saw anything better this deserved 5 stars not 4 it was so good and the designs on the beds were amazing ♥️ the food was so good I could never go wrong with the waffles. The employees are so kind, too definitely will be coming back. It is clean nothing to worry about no power cuts or anything. There was a studio with a dancer at night it was cool. These people deserve a raise for there jobs keep up the work.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, and I must say, it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, the level of service, hospitality, and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. A very special mention goes to Mohammad Khaled, the Front Desk Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant check-in experience. His professionalism, warmth, and proactive attitude truly set the tone for a remarkable stay. I’d also like to commend his wonderful team, especially Marah from Guest Relations, who was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Equally outstanding was my experience with the Food & Beverage Department. Hussam Abu Hana, the Food and Beverage Manager, is a true leader – his passion for excellence clearly reflects in every aspect of the dining experience. He made sure everything was perfect, and his team followed his lead flawlessly. Special thanks to Ali, the Outlet Supervisor, for his exceptional service and kind demeanor. Last but certainly not least, Ashraff from Concierge was a delight to interact with – knowledgeable, helpful, and always ready with a smile. I’ve stayed in countless IHG properties worldwide, and this particular experience at the Dead Sea stands out as one of the best. The staff made all the difference, and I wholeheartedly recommend this resort for anyone seeking genuine hospitality in a breathtaking location. Thank you again to the entire team – I look forward to returning soon!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the hotel management for the noticeable and positive change in the food quality. It's clear that a new chef has joined the team, and the difference in the buffet is remarkable — a significant improvement compared to before. Special thanks to all the hardworking staff at the hotel, especially the night room service chef and Chef Murad at the buffet, for the delightful transformation in the taste and quality of the food. I also want to thank the buffet service team for their professionalism and excellent service. However, I would like to mention that the nightly entertainment needs significant improvement. The party was not enjoyable at all, and it was clear that many of the guests felt the same way. The main reason, in my opinion, is the DJ — unfortunately, his performance was very poor. He lacks experience and doesn't seem to keep up with modern music trends, which made the overall atmosphere quite dull. I hope this aspect can be improved to match the high standards seen in other parts of the hotel. There are many talented professionals available who are capable of creating a fun and lively evening for all guests. I truly hope the hotel considers this and enhances the entertainment experience to match the high quality of the rest of the services.

We were afraid of booking after seeing bad review comments by others. But we were positive about Holiday inn brand value and took a chance. It turned out to be the best decision planning our stay at this resort. Very soothing environment as soon as you step in. Be it security staff, reception staff, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff, all of them are very polite, dedicted to guest comfort and satisfaction. We were explained about every facility at the resort by reception staff when we checked in. Room provided to us had dead sea view. Room was very comfortable and mini bar was free. We had our dinner at 393 burgers and steaks. Our server lady and chef prepared a delicious vegetarian pizza for us. Breakfast had a variety of options including veg, non veg and live counter. Dead sea beach was clean and well maintained. Lifeguard was available at the beach and attentive towards guests. Highly recommended resort if you are planning a stay at dead sea.

At the moment I step into the lobby at the hotel, I wanted to stay here. I originally planned just to spend the day on the beach here but I made the right call and spent the night instead. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. The hotel location was just perfect. There were access on private Dead Sea beach and pools. They also had a package included all 3 meals which was amazing. The food was pretty decent too. As a solo woman traveler, I felt pretty safe staying here. I would come back to stay here a little longer. It was definitely the place to spend a day or two after a long hike days in the Petra and Wadi Rum.
