Holiday Inn - the niu, Rig Lübeck by IHG

Ok hotel and very fresh room. Looks newly renovated. Friendly and nice staff at the reception. Cons.. removing one star. -No coffe/tea cooker in room -No drink glass in room -No parking at hotel even if agoda description stated it was available. Pros - Walkable 7min to old town - fresh rooms - excellent shower - great staff

I had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The location is excellent — just a stone’s throw from both the bus stop and train station, which made getting around really convenient. Despite being so close to public transport, the sound insulation was impressive — once the windows were closed, it was perfectly quiet. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and convenience!

Great location (right by the main station and 10 minutes walking distance to the old town), very welcoming staff, super comfortable, very good beds and all kinds of amenities, fun design and game areas for all ages. Don’t miss the breakfast! Especially the ginger shots! Again very nice staff also during breakfast. We were so lucky to have found this hotel, highly recommended.

Friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms, great location. We don't need more for a short city trip. They even had some games in the room, in case you needed to pass the time. The hotel focuses on the important essentials and does them with excellence. We also really enjoyed the fresh style and interior a lot. All in all a great place to stay!

A modern hotel in the centre of the city next to the train station. We were upgraded to a larger family room which was clean and spacious. At night with the window open you can hear noise from the streets below.||The breakfast options were generous - but the hot items were left unheated on one morning. Cold scrambled eggs and bacon weren’t that appetising.

This is probably the best hotel that I stayed on this trip. It's just right across from the train station. I could walk to the old town. The breakfast is worth the extra money to book.

The hotel is directly opposite the train station exit. Even though the hotel is booked under holiday in brand, the hotel name to look for is The Niu. Hotel rooms are small as is bathroom. No bar fridge, no real storage space. Beds were ok, pillows terrible, bathroom small, average shower. You get nothing, not even a bottle of water & the room rate is high for what you get.
