Very nice staff and clean rooms. Stayed two nights, hwy shut down due to weather and I got stuck in the snow, a staff member pushed my car to help me out. Gas station, McDonald's just steps out your door for convenience. The deer fed off the crab apple tree at the front of office, it was relaxing to watch them. The rooms are clean , I would recommend.

Very affordable and very clean. It's an older motel but very well maintained. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. In addition to the excellent affordable room, the gave me a space to park my RV overnight. Will stay here again without hesitation!!!

This is our 5th time at Holiday Lodge in 4 1/2 years. It’s really dependable, good walking distance to downtown and Wyoming Catholic college. It’s clean and friendly. We only spent half our time in Lander at Holiday Lodge as we got free accommodations with a friend the other half of our trip and I missed the location of Holiday Lodge. The rooms are spacious, many of the views out the back are lovely with the river flowing, trees, deer and woodchuck like critters. You can walk down there and relax. It’s a nice place to stay. They are generous with towels and the rooms are clean. For me it’s a 5 but if you need a lot of electrical plugs you may want a power strip.

Awesome staff! Super accommodating. Stayed in the cabin overlooking the river. Shower and bathrooms are a short walk away. We are usually tent campers, so no big deal, but could be for some. I was worried about what we were getting for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. They have regular motel style rooms for about the same price that have full baths. Newly renovated, clean and walking distance to downtown. Perfect for us and the 3 kids .

Google
Cannot recommend highly enough. Every single staff member who we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The room was among the most immaculately clean motel rooms that I have ever stayed in; no small thing to say, given that I have travelled extensively. The beds were brand new and comfortable. Crazy good value.

We did the tent camping option for $15 per person. A steep gravel driveway (no vehicle access) leads down to a nicely kept lawn by the river. Shower and toilets are located up the driveway, they were clean and well kept. We had a large gear trailer in tow, and despite not using an RV spot, the management accommodated parking for us easily. Very friendly staff. I slept out on a cot and was happy to have used a bivvy sack for the condensation that settled on everything overnight. When I woke up there were two juvenile muskrats playing a few feet away. I spooked them pretty good though and they skittered back down the river bank. All in all, it's pretty low frills, but this place is very sweet and pleasant.

Stayed at Holiday Lodge in 5/23 on a trip across US. Owners were very friendly. I like that it is a family owned business. The outside looked like it had been renovated recently. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean, which is most important. It is a short walk to places to eat.

While passing through the area I booked the cabin by the river. Before I had even arrived, Kiki had my best interests in mind and thoroughly offered me many options to make sure my stay was comfortable. It fit exactly my needs for quiet and a beautiful wake up view, and at a great price. Very grateful not only for the stay, but for the kind efforts from the staff to ensure I was safe and comfortable. Will be recommending and visiting again!

Yelp
The Landers Holiday Lodge is a gem. Be sure to ask for a room fronting the river. Great views from the rooms! Staff were friendly and COVID conscious. The desk clerk was behind a barrier and wearing a mask. Patrons are required to wear a mask to enter the office. Hand sanitizer and single use wipes were available. The property is well cared for and very clean. The towels were thick and fluffy. Our bed was comfy. Our room included a nice reading chair by the large windows that overlook the river. The coffee maker, fridge and microwave were in good repair. A very nice choice if you find yourself in Landers, Wyoming.

Yelp
A rambling motel on the east side of Lander with parking spaces (and hookups?) for several RVs. It's been, I would say, strategically updated. The bed is the best I've slept in for I don't know how long, and that includes the Holiday Inn at the other end of town. The desk and chairs are very comfortable for me to work, meditate, or relax in. Other stuff is humorously outdated, but none of it takes away from the comfort of the room. It's also got the best WiFi I've used in a while. Not sure if this will be true as we get out of the covid era, but they are short staffed enough that there is no daily cleaning (no problem) and the desk closes at 10. If you're flying in to Riverton that's a pain since the only flight arrives at 9:30... I got hold of someone via their Ring doorbell and she came to get me the key. Really that's the only thing that could have kept this from being 5 stars. No breakfast, which also suits me just fine. Try the coffee shed thing on the property next door up the road towards Riverton. Railroad Expresso, I think that's the name.

Yelp
A covid compliant hotel in WY with masks required in the lobby. Rooms are older but spacious, and have great views overlooking the creek, and were clean. Rooms have microwaves and fridges.

Yelp
The maintenance and upkeep is lacking. I have stayed here for years and at least through two owners but this time the issues really piled up. The mini fridge didn't work, there were stains dried on the bathroom wall and light fixture, "old smell" is prominent and the fan to the furnace loudly started squeaking the morning of check out. I always appreciated the quiet location & that you can't hear your fellow guests flush their toilet but will be staying elsewhere next visit to Lander.

Yelp
Super disappointed, we had to put down a $20.00 deposit because we used cash, only to find a used washrag over shower head mold growing around fan in bathroom and the sink must leak because floor is wet and has a little give to it like you could fall through floor soon. Was really hoping it would have been a quaint establishment but lesson learned

Yelp
The room was clean and okay, nothing fancy. The lady at the desk was very nice. The parking lot was torn up but we still had room to park--it'll be nice for next week's guests. There is a park right behind the building, by the River! We just didn't have time to enjoy it. I'd stay here again, but I'd p'bly try the hotel across the way first. I wasn't impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. This lodge was walking distance to the Oxbow restaurant, which was really good food.

Yelp
The rooms are ok. Nothing special. The rooms are average as far as clean goes, beds are decent. Breakfast is not included. But they do have a restaurant. I'd give the restaurant 2.5 stars. Service was not the best. Food was warm, but not hot. Stairways are dirty.

Yelp
Rooms were a bit of a throwback but in very good condition, the owners (Kiki at night and Michael during the day) were very friendly and I've even stayed and talked with them for a while (they speak Mandarin, but so do I).

Yelp
Stayed two nights and left well rested and pleased with my stay. Pet friendly, super clean, great rates, pleasant staff, and quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only disappointments were that 'breakfast' was just coffee, canned juice, and pre-packaged donuts and the slowish wi-fi. But otherwise perfect in all it's Mad Men-era glory!

Yelp
I'm torn between three and four stars for this place. On one hand, it's very reasonably priced and has the quaint feeling of motels from the 50s and 60s. On the other hand, it has the feeling of a motel from the 50s and 60s. Our room was quite large, but it had what seemed like astroturf for carpet. The sleeping area was fine, but could have used some sprucing up. The bathroom was in desperate need of a remodel. It really seemed like they were doing everything they could to avoid having to pay for a remodel, so it was at least nice that they were trying, but it will eventually catch up with them. The room was pretty clean, but could have been a little cleaner (for some reason, I have found a woman's hair in every hotel room we've stayed in during this trip). Cleanliness is more important to me than anything else. The Holiday Lodge was acceptable in this regard, just not great. Oh, don't expect much for breakfast. It was a few prepackaged breakfast items and coffee or a small can of juice. Again, at least they try. If I were on a budget again when driving through Lander, I'd probably stay here again. If I had a little more to spend, I'd probably stay somewhere else.

Yelp
Clean, tidy, spacious rooms, cute. This is an older hotel but not messy or unclean at all--the couple (I think they own it) at the front desk were very friendly with a good sense of humor. We came here in November and the room was warm when we came in--such a simple, but wonderful feeling after being in the cold. In many hotels turning on the heater is your first order of business-this one was already at a great temperature. I love the quaint but spacious old-timey American hotel. If you're looking for posh and modern, this isn't the hotel you're looking for. If you love mom-and-pop/local places, this is your place! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Unfortunate circumstances (semi truck accident) took us to Lander, WY where our son-in-law was hospitalized. We arrived weary and worn, but were greeted by the staff with stellar hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We checked out the next day only to find out that we needed to stay an additional night to wait for a specialist to come from Casper... so we checked back in to the Holiday Lodge. No, there are no "frills", but we did take advantage of the free breakfast, the hot tub, and the walk by the river. For the price (half of what the major chains charge) it was perfect.

Yelp
Friendly staff, had to be given a second room due to the a/c unit not working in the 1st room! This place is situated right next to McDonald's and there's a maverick close as well....

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Yellowstone. It is within walking distance to downtown w/ a good choice of restaurants. The rooms are very large and clean. It is a bit outdated but I just needed a warm, comfortable place to sleep. They do have free Wifi. I used it to check in w/ my pet sitters back home. I had a difficult time getting connected at first but once I went to the office and mentioned this the owners rebooted everything and it worked fine after that. The hotel website mentions breakfast but upon check-in the owners let us know that breakfast consists of donuts, juice and coffee. Not much of a breakfast in my world. I liked that she was honest about it. We just grabbed something else on the way to Yellowstone. This place had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a while. I have a firm mattress at home and this was close to my mattress. The room was a bit warm but the windows open and the air conditioner cools it down nicely. The website mentions being on the river but if you want a river view you won't get it. It is on a river w/ a park but you cannot see or hear the water from the room. The rooms were very quiet. We didn't hear any of our neighbors. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Clean, safe, comfortable, pet friendly. Owners are super. Would 1000% recommend. I will definitely return.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Lodge. The owners were very hospitable and really cared about the people lodging in their hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. It was dated but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Next time we travel through, my husband and I would like to stay in one of the cabins. A stream ran near the lodge and it was beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend the Holiday Lodge.

Yelp
This place is very quiet and comfortable. The room was good for the price. They are friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back if I go down to this town again.

Yelp
Clean, large, comfortable, quiet rooms. There's a campground in back on the river which provides a spacious, open feeling. Easy walking distance into the nice town of Lander. We were in a bind and the owners could not have been more accomodating and friendly. Many thanks to the wonderful people at Holiday Lodge!

Yelp
Checked in and had to have the woman switch my room as it smelled, the phone didn't work and the toilet was loose from the wall and not properly attached to the floor. The woman on duty when I called and when I showed up seemed more concerned about getting my credit card number than anything else. Also there are cats everywhere! The area near the front office reeks of cat urine. Will not return.

Yelp
This place is old school family owned motel lodge right on the river just across from downtown Lander. The family who owns it are lovely - it is clean, very comfortable, all the basic amenities including free wireless, and you're supporting a local business. They upgraded me for free to a river view, and that allowed me a view of a couple of big bucks early the next morning. I'll be back.

Kevin L.

Yelp
For the price, you can't beat this place. Clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff, and great location. We stayed here for International Climbers Festival and we plan on staying here again.
