The Holiday Motel is a basic old property that's been maintained just enough to be acceptable. My tiny room (#29) had a queen bed and it was clean but featured tired carpeting, a beat up door and a noisy but decent window ac unit. The walls were in need of a paint job, too but it wasn't awful. The lighting was bright and harsh but at least the bedside lamps had outlets in them. A fridge, microwave and coffeemaker were also included (I didn't use them but they're nice to have). The bathroom was small but clean and updated, the water pressure was good and there is ample parking. The guy behind the front desk was polite and the area is close to restaurants and markets. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only if the price was once again $90 (or lower).

We weren’t expecting much more than a clean place to crash for the night, but the Holiday Motel in Bend ended up being a highlight of our entire trip. We showed up hours early, nervous since our online reservation had only confirmed a request, not a guaranteed booking. We just wanted to be sure we had a place to sleep that night. However, every worry melted away the moment we stepped into the office. The staff was absolutely incredible—genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive in a way that’s rare even at high-end hotels. Even though check-in wasn’t for several more hours, they told us they’d go ahead and start preparing our room immediately. We told them we planned to return later, but spotted a cozy little outdoor lounge nook nearby and decided to hang out for a bit. Within minutes, the man from the office noticed us sitting in the sun and came over, unprompted, to install an umbrella at our table to shade us from the heat. A few moments later, the woman came out and handed me a small, beautifully crocheted blue pouch filled with what I can only describe as premium candy loot—we’re talking Wild Berry Skittles, seven different types of Reese’s, and other top-tier snacks. It was such a sweet, personal touch that totally caught us off guard. We weren’t planning on staying in the lounge that long, but before we could head into town, they came back out to let us know the room was ready—early. Not only that, but they had upgraded us from a regular room to a VIP suite with a huge private patio. It’s rare to find this level of hospitality, care, and attention to detail anywhere, let alone in a modest roadside motel. The people running this place genuinely care about their guests, and it shows in every little thing they do. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Bend. If you’re on the fence, just book it—you won’t regret it.

I drove by this motel nearly every day in the 80s and 90s, even lived in the duplexes behind it (by St. Vincent de Paul) for a little while. It has never looked so clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The on-site management was polite, professional, and at least one half of the team is an old-school local and can tell you about Bend in the 80s and 90s.

Google
Nice room, well renovated and convenient location. Rates were super affordable but they did charge a $20 per dog per night fee. They had a nice area for dogs and I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

Google
We needed a room for the night while passing through Bend. This was a very cost-effective option. No major frills. The motel was in an OK location. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Google
We have stayed here a few times. The gentleman working in the office is the nicest. Rooms are cute and clean. Great value.

Google
Be very careful — this place is a scam. They charged my credit card three times, claiming it wasn’t working. Then they took cash from me as well. The next day, I noticed all three credit card charges had gone through. When I told them, they blamed my bank. I called my bank, and they confirmed the issue was on the motel’s end. I went back, and the motel said they’d “check with the office,” but then again blamed the bank. I eventually filed a dispute with my bank. When they contacted the motel, the motel denied everything—even claimed I never paid in cash. In the end, they charged me three times on my card and took cash. Total scam. Avoid this place.

Google
Positive: Shampoo and conditioner in the shower although th Negative: Checkout is 11, if you checkout @ 11:01 they charge you $25 if you happen to accidentally miss your alarm & don't check out until 11:30 THEY CHARGE $50!? SO DISAPPOINTED IN LACK OF COMMON CURTOUSY BEING AMERICAN OWNED NON THE LESS. ALL BECAUSE IM LOCAL

Yelp
Really cute and comfy. Very comfy. Ample parking, get here early. We arrived at dark and only one spot left. Great front desk. Lovely place but the shower pump soap dispenser didn't work. Room 110. Dogs are accepted. That's FYI. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge in room. Loud construction behind the motel. Started early.

Trude M.

Yelp
Clean room, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and walkable eating options make this one of the best values in town. A giant tv, great lighting, lots of electrical outlets round out what I consider to be essential in a great place. Thanks so much. I'll be back!

Yelp
Loved everything about this place! The team that runs this motel are doing a fantastic job. There was a gardener outside everyday I was there - cleaning up the landscape, making sure everything looked good - it did! The back lawn area is a great to relax with a cold drink. I highly recommend room 1 - it's upstairs, over the office and has a huge outdoor space. The room was comfortable, bed and linens, the bathroom - everything was clean and as expected. A great location too - I was minutes from the job site I was visiting and there are restaurants close by. Zero complaints. Highly recommend. 10/10. Tell them Mr. B recommended the place!

Yelp
I have stayed here for a concert a couple of times. Its lowkey and affordable, never any issues. I stayed there recently on Aug 27th for a concert. We arrived late because of the accident/road closure and immediately prepared to get to venue. We got back late and went straight to bed, woke up and left by 10:00. I was charged $100.00 extra and accused of stealing the towels. I 100% did not take any towels and while although we noticed only 1 hand towel in bathroom, we didn't really care because we did not need any for our stay. There was no reason to alert or request any. I am a business owner and a grown 55 yr old woman that can afford not to steal hotel towels, and to be accused of it really sucks. Cost me over $300.00 for the night and ruined my future stays.

Wallace S.

Yelp
Flies in my room,no place to put suitcases. 1 towel each. 1 coffee and 1 decaf . Usually 2 people so I'm guessing most people want 2 regular so at least give the options of both,FOR both. I'm all about hotels/motels being 420 but ,like cigarettes, give an option for smoking/non smoking areas. The smell was overwhelming even for my husband who smokes or uses edibles. We ALL want a pleasant experience. With just a little effort this place could be a fun throwback motel but it comes off as going as low as they can go on hospitality. Much better available for the economic travelers in Bend. Yes,even in Bend.

Elwood S.

Yelp
Clean and well maintained. Very comfortable. Staff is cordial and accomodating. Very reasonable rates.

Dara B.

Yelp
Do not stay here. Room 31 was bedbug central and when we went to the office to talk to them they acted indifferent towards us. We were very dissatisfied that we did not get a full refund, but after reading more bedbug related reviews I feel lucky that we were refunded at all. Otherwise our room was filthy and poorly maintained. I wish I'd taken more photos of the dirt and stains everywhere, mold, broken blinds, harsh lighting, and dusty vents. The decor and furniture would be what I'd expect for the price point. Location was decent with plenty of nearby amenities. Poor internet access. Overall this place is not worth it and very poorly managed. You'd be better off paying a little more to stay somewhere cleaner and with staff that actually cares about their guests health and safety.

Randy W.

Yelp
Absolutely, do not stay here. Only booked this room due to the good reviews we read on Hotels.com and the low room price, but they must have filtered out the bad reviews. The room we had was totally worn down, dirty, lots of little broken things, very dingy, peeling paint. We've stayed in budget roadside motels before and have no problem with that style of hotel. However, this one is being sorely neglected by their owners.

Natalie S.

Yelp
The Front Desk Attendant the Holiday Motel ruined my stay by attempting to extort an extra $50-$100 "deposit". All because I had asked for my sheets to be changed after only one night! I booked a two night stay for 8/04 /2024 - 8/06/2024 in room 35. The room was clean and comfortable...However the Front Desk staff is sorely lacking in knowledge of Customer Service! On 08/05/2024 at around 11:15 am I called the front desk and asked for service and FD (Front Desk) said the housekeepers were almost finished for the day , but then reluctantly granted me service. I asked for the sheets to be changed and FD immediately became hostile and argumentative demanding to know why the sheets needed changed after only one night. " I don't know how you live at home. But , You can't live like that in MY hotel!" She used the phrase "My hotel" repeatedly. As a former hotel housekeeper who has worked at several hotels Myself , I know that if a guest asks for a sheet change ... no matter how long they have been there....it's NONE of the staff's business why it needs to be changed because the guest has already PAID for that service! She also said that if the Housekeeper brings her the sheets and she finds "anything wrong" then I would have to give an extra $50-$100 deposit or be asked " to leave MY hotel!" I told her I changed my mind about the sheet change , but she screamed "No! You can't back out now! You're getting them changed! Either cough up $50-$100 by 5 pm or leave MY Hotel! You signed a paper saying I have the right to kick you out at anytime!" I said I would rather just leave. 2 minutes later FD was banging on my door saying that I would be getting a sheet change with no extra deposit and I wouldn't have to check out early. I don't know or care why she suddenly changed her mind. It doesn't change the fact that She was a rude, aggressive and hostile bully who tried to extort extra money over a simple sheet change request and quite frankly, she deserves to be fired. I deliberately left no tip so the Housekeeping staff knows who to blame. Terrible Customer Servic!

Yelp
Bedbugs found in bed 2AM. Got a refund, but it wasn't automatic, had to insist. No sleep, waited for office to open. This motel has multiple buildings: the one the office is in has been updated and that is what the pictures are in their literature. The other buildings are gross, not updated and slummy. Do not be fooled. Ask to see the room before you hand over your credit card.

Clair S.

Yelp
Such a charming pair of hosts and room! Nice unique room amenities like a quilt and doors out to a deck. Super close to the Old Mill District. Fair price.

Yelp
How did this hotel get such a high rating on Expedia and decent rating on here? This place went from bad to worse. The room was absolutely disgusting. There were several flies as soon as I walked in. I noticed the ac was turned all the way down. I got cold and turned it off. That's when I saw more bugs start to fly around. These little tiny gnats were flying around the light above the bed. I felt so itchy I could barely sleep. Then the bath towels were all dirty except the small ones. The air vent in the bathroom was full of dust/mold/mildew. Even then I was going to let it go because I don't like to complain unless someone truly deserves it. Cut to the next day. One of the hubcaps to our car is missing. We ask if they have cameras. Of course they don't. The guy says even if we have cameras that wouldn't solve anything. Wrong! You could see which guest stole the hubcap and either contact them or charge their card on file. The guy says you have to wait until the manager comes in at noon to talk to him.. Screw that. Waste our day to MAYBE get it resolved. The guy couldn't give us a discount or anything. He was a smug asshole that deserves to be fired. But from what I can gather it's a family business. Now I'm out $150 for the room and $50 hubcap. Save your money go somewhere else. Fuck these guys. They need a lesson in customer service. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was them that stole the hubcap.

Sabrina L.

Yelp
The price was right. The service was good. However a couple of things about the room we did not like. We arrived after a bad storm. The heater was on when we got to the room which was nice until we realized there was no adjustable thermostat. Either it was on full blast or off completely, nothing in between. Also there was a strange door behind the closet. It had a lock but when you pushed on it, it wasn't locked but had a door latch hooked on the other side meaning they could come into our room. What was on the other side we didn't know. Another thing is the bathroom toilet was fixing issues with flushing and the water tank not filling. I couldn't get it to stop regardless of giggling thre handle or checking that the chain hadn't dropped. We called called desk and they said someone was coming in in 30 minutes and they worked be by. My husband got it working before then.

Yelp
The desk clerk was extremely helpful and understanding when our original hotel canceled our 4 night stay when we arrived in bend for a music festival. On July 21st 2023 we were in a real pickle for accommodations due to the event. Highly recommend, great staff!

Melo S.

Yelp
Stayed here in June 2022. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Good price and very convenient location. Would stay again. Understand you aren't getting a 5 star luxury resort, rather, a clean, safe and comfortable motel.

Jeff B.

Yelp
Great place to stay when you're on the road. Friendly and clean. Shop around for the best price. Going directly to the front desk may not be your beat choice.

Bryce L.

Yelp
We loved the fact that this motel had two rooms... it's pretty old school, and it was surprising to see how nice the rooms were. Location is a bit sketchy due to crime in the area, but it wasn't a bad place to stay. Parking lot is a bit cramped as was the bathroom. We'd stay here again next time we're in Bend.

Laura I.

Yelp
Wow. We love this place! Came here for my boyfriends birthday weekend and had his parents with us and two other guy friends. The place has a bedroom with a kind bed, another bedroom with 2 queens and a kitchen and living room with 3 couches. The couches are super comfortable and can sit 6 people comfortably, and 8 if squished. The 4 couch spots recline with footrests as well. Roomy bathroom. The place is bigger than my apartment back home and is restful. clean place and GREAT value for the money. You won't find a better deal in town

Ranveig F.

Yelp
We had stayed here earlier and found it charming , but it turned out this is not true for all rooms. Our room was simply tacky and depressing. Frayed, spotted carpeting, high small windows and reject furnishings. In addition, it smelled dirty. One star for the bathroom, which in spite of dizzying decor was clean and functional.

Michelle V.

Yelp
Dirty towels, bugs all over the lights, and someone stole our hubcap in the parking lot. Was told that they're not responsible for anything in their lot and that they didn't have cameras on an entire side of the motel. Don't stay here, I don't know how they got such a high rating but it's a fucking scam.

Megan E.

Yelp
So I'm giving this place one star, not because I'm a Karen but because they deserve it. I saw great reviews on here so I looked at the pictures and decided to give it a try. The place is quaint and convenient in town but the first room we were in was disgusting. We checked in on the 10th and started in room 19 where there were dead bugs smeared all over the walls and ceilings, there were live ants, gnats and other tiny bugs all over the room, especially the bathroom. There was also dirt all over the floor next to the fridge along with tangled up wires and the surfaces were dirty so I had to wipe them down (pics show the amount of dirty wipes in the garbage used to clean the surfaces and a few bug smears.) Then I went to shower after a long drive and day and the shower started filling up very quickly so I was standing in a soapy pool of water that was coming up from the clogged drain that has lord knows what in it. We called the office to get some help but we couldn't switch rooms until the next day. The next day on the 11th we were happy to be moved to another room, number 11. Room 11 was cleaner. There were not as many bug smears however there was a ton of ants getting in from somewhere and these other kind of teeny tiny bugs that gathered up in the corner of the room by the ceiling above the night stand, above the shower in the corner and also in the shower. We literally had to rinse them down before we could shower. I felt itchy the whole time being in the room. The staff, the young short haired kid and the long haired guy who walked around in his socks was not accommodating. We had to ask for a discount since we weren't offered one. Then they kept passing the baton saying "oh I have to speak to my manager let me get back to you" or "the owner isn't here let me call him and get back to you" then they had to wait for the owner to "come in" at 2pm, however, I'm quite certain they lived upstairs above the office so if they ran a good business he would have come down to speak to us. They didn't call at 2pm like they said they were going too. They had from the night of the 10th until 11am on the 13th to talk to this elusive guy but they made me call this evening only for me to be told "they spoke to the owner and was instructed, NO discount." This place is ran by the laziest people I have ever met and they only care about their money. They don't care about their guests at all. I will never go back there if it's ran by the same three jerks that run it now.

Andrea L.

Yelp
So I'm sad to have to leave this review. And I'm sad that I won't be staying here anymore when I'm in Bend. The price was right and when you have a real grown up room with a real grown up bed, it's actually a cute place - kitschy and 50's and just my style. The location is great. Easy to find and get around. But twice I have booked a room here online and been given the smallest chicklet-sized room with a bed that I would swear is a full and not a queen, and in no world would sleep 3 people (as advertised). The first time, about a year ago, I checked in a woman in her 40's/50s checked me in. I suspect it is all one family. She asked me questions as though she didn't believe I was here alone. Asked if I had my husband's credit card. Asked if I wasn't sure I wasn't traveling with a pet. WTF? Then she gave me the dirtiest and smallest room possible. The next day I asked to move and was given a perfectly acceptable room by a gentleman at the desk. Flash forward to a couple weeks ago. I checked in with a young gentleman and was once again given the tiniest of rooms without a queen size bed (as advertised) and with the smell of puke right next to the pillow. I took a while to settle in and showered and put some things away. By the time I relaxed about an hour later, I noticed the smell. I asked the dude for a different room and he told me no. There were still rooms available for that evening. I guarantee that they wouldn't have given either of those rooms to a man - who might not even fit in them. I rarely feel like I notice or witness obvious sexism, but this one seems so damn obvious to me. I wont stay here again. I'll spend more and stay elsewhere and hopefully be treated a lot better.

Yelp
I was born and raised in bend Oregon so I had drove past this motel more times then I can count on ten hands and twenty toes. Little did I know that this motel is a hidden gem! Booked the motel off of the hopper app, didn't give it much thought besides the extremely moderately priced rooms. We pulled up tired and ready to rest our heavy heads after an 8 hour drive not really fully knowing what to expect...we were put in room 3 upstairs above the office....words don't describe this room. BEAUTIFUL!!! 5 star room with a 2 star price. I would recommend this motel to anyone who is traveling through bend looking for a bed for the night or for a couple looking for a little stay-cation. Staff is great and the extra little touches really top this motel off as the hands down best price for what you get in bend! Thanks holiday motel! You guys are killin it. :)

Esther R.

Yelp
Parking lot is not big truck friendly. DO NOT come here if you have a truck. The room was clean. We got 3 beds, only asked for 1 bed. Only the 2 of us and our 4 legged child. It was ok except for the Parking lot.

S S.

Yelp
Actually NO STARS. Noisy street, rude staff. There is a great quiet, cheaper DAYS INN a few blocks away. They scammed me by refusing to accept a phone reservation for "the last available room", but directing me to booking.com. I booked the room and paid, drove to Holiday and they had sold the room. Booking.com emailed me that the hotel had declined to book BUT I was charged and would receive a refund in 7 to 12 DAYS from booking com!!!

Brianna T.

Yelp
Don't stay in room 36... it was disgustingly dirty. Stains on bed sheets and comforter, Cracked toilet seat, chunks of something on the wall. I was waiting for cockroaches to start crawling around (they didn't). Wish I took pictures to post...

Daniel L.

Yelp
Second timer here in the last year. Both times it was great. Good price and really clean. The only bad thing this time is no temp control in my room and only way to cool the room is a door to a patio that is shared with another room. And no windows at all.

Liz M.

Yelp
We love staying at independent motels. Staying in an old motel means the rooms are smaller, bathrooms are old, and the air conditioner is hanging out the front window. If you don't like such amenities it's not for you. Our room was quiet and had basic cleanliness. What was missing to make this a better motel? Maintenance. The first morning I woke up sneezing which could only mean dust and mold. First culprit discovered was the wall heater. I cleaned the vents and covered a washcloth was dust and grime. Next I took to switch plates, outlets, and frames. I gave up on cleaning the Christmas decoration hanging on the wall. Onto the bathroom. Whoever poorly installed the tile left out off caulking between the tub and tile and the space was full of mold, there was mold under the spout and mold in spatters on the tile. That's something I could not clean myself and should not have to. I left a note in the tub by the mold. When we returned that evening the mold had been covered with caulk but not completely as black peeked out from the bottom of the caulk. The walls and faucet had not been touched. There were several other poorly done basic fixes that are easy to fix. Customers should not have to do them or request for the work to be done. A good maintenance staff with proper tools, not slapping cheap shortcuts, can solve issues I noticed a picture of the room on another review. Maybe we were just given the worse room and all the others are in better condition. Would not stay here again. I cannot fathom how this place received a 2015 Trip Advisor award.

Naomi M.

Yelp
This motel is definitely a jewel. First of all the people who run the place were fun, informative really took their time..Easy to get back to Hiway 97 .. The room was clean and the bed was sent from heaven...NOT your regular motel bed from mattress Hell..The room was decorated with those little details that make you forget your in a motel ,plus it was nice and dark,Not with that usual irritating light from the window that boars a hole right into your eyes all night.I can't say enough about this cute little get away what a pleasure. I will come back, I recommend this place for anyone who likes the best sleep on the best bed..Did I mention the bed must have come from mattress heaven

Sari G.

Yelp
This place was super clean and comfortable, and very nice! We stayed in I've is the ribs above the office and enjoyed a large walk out deck! Would definately come back.

Tara S.

Yelp
I LOVED this motel when I first arrived. And I'd say it dropped down a bit while there, just because of a bug in the bathroom and a towel or two that weren't so clean. But still, if you check out the pics and see the mini-fridge and microwave, you know it's a cute place. And it's an old motel, so it's got that vintage thing going for it. And then I got home. I'd noticed a couple bug bites on me during my two-night stay at the motel, but it's summer and hot, so I didn't think much about it. But at home that first night (last night), I stripped for the shower. Well, I've got about 40 bites unlike any I've received before. I had my suspicions, so I googled to see what bedbug bites look like, and this is them. Moreover, the googling accidentally brought up pictures of bedbugs, and I can now say that the bug in the bathroom was a full (having eaten) bedbug. Great. Anyhoo, the place was quiet, I slept well, the wifi was not perfect, but it was adequate, and I felt safe. Also, I've since learned that a place can be clean and have these things. I wouldn't say it was perfectly clean, but I didn't suspect bedbugs while I was there. It's important to note that literally as I left a mattress store was delivering a new mattress to the room next to mine. So, I really think the owners are trying very hard to get the rooms bedbug free. But it's not easy. I am only doing things as precautionary now, and I've got all the things in the hot wash and dryer, things in sealed bags in the car (for heat to kill any bugs or eggs), and...well, I don't even see any bugs. I can't imagine how hard it is when you can actually see them. I am optimistic, because the owners seem to care about making this place a good one, BUT I have to admit I wouldn't stay there again after getting so many bites. And I would dissuade anyone who asked me about it. That's hard to say, because I like the people and I think they're trying, but bedbugs. No. Can't handle that.

Susan M.

Yelp
This place is a find. Clean and comfortable. No breakfast but I was getting tired of paying twice as much for a dirty room and bad pastry at the chains. Coffee in the room can get you going in the morning to one of the many restaurants around the motel. Microwave and small fridge complete the room. Bathroom has been updated shower with good water pressure. Great value for the money.

Bev J.

Yelp
Sketchy vibe from staff especially when they double-charged my friend's card and said they could not check on it until two pm when the owner could look at his computer. Bed very comfortable. You either get the nice little brother guy or the mean older brother guy. The phone didn't work, no apology made for that. No maid service at all. You had to walk up and ask the maids for towels or toilet paper, and they seemed offended when you did. Apparently they only clean when you move out. The desk always wanted to wrangle about price. If you asked a maid to take garbage she would tell you to take it to the dumpster... isn't that her job? There appear to be two or three brothers running the desk lackadaisically, the one in the brown sweatshirt that always remains the same, the older one with the preppie striped shirts who glares angrily at customers. The tub stopper came off while I was there. I brought it to the front desk and saw it sitting there three days later. Apparently a major plumbing problem happened while we were there on the top floor and it impinged on four room in a row, including ours, so they cut off the dates we could rent. All in all it was nervewracking. Yes, the decor is quaint, but it's not particularly clean or friendly. I watched the entirety of the The Crown while I was there, and I appreciated the free coffee, which was a dark blend. They had a coffee pot that actually fit into a plug in the wall. I felt the whole time they might storm the room and start yelling at us, but they never did. I must have been anticipating the management style of the neighboring hotels on 3rd street, where they barge in at twenty to eleven and start yelling WHAT DO YOU WANT GO TO THE OFFICE THE OFFICE.

Vicki C.

Yelp
I have to wonder what all of the five star review writers saw in this place that I didn't see. There weren't a lot of vacancies in town when we were looking for a room, so we ended up here for one night. It seemed clean enough, I was able to sleep through the night, and the shower worked, but that's about it. I had no desire to spend any more time than necessary here. The mismatched decor was very dated and appears to consist of whatever happened to be on sale at Big Lots the day the owner happened to go shopping.

Brandon E.

Yelp
The staff at the holiday motel were very accommodating with my travel plans. This is a great option for anyone spending time in Bend, OR.

Andreas T.

Yelp
Unfortunately the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Due to my swift check in and uber pick up I had no time to complain (it was also last room available). I was told upon checkout it was a drain issue and THATs why the window was open when I walked in the room (not because they knew it smelled???) and if I complained prior to, they would have "helped out" . Policy schmolicy, my throat hurts and I smells like cigs. I will never stay here again due to them trying to cover up KNOWN smoke smell and then acting dumb. Just poor customer service.

Si L.

Yelp
This hotel is very dirty and has unsafe conditions in the shower. They have minimal floor griping in the front of shower and none in the back. My husband slipped in the shower due to no griping on the floor and hit his head, he got a concussion and paramedics had to come help him. When I explained the dangerous conditions to the owner recommending he get more floor gripping he seemed to think this was a joke and mocked my husband. My husband missed a couple of days of work due to his injury and I am worried that other people, including elderly folks will easily fall and get hurt to. The owner should have offered an apology instead of laughing. He also said he does not have any insurance on the place.... seems like there are several violations going on here.

Yelp
The 4 stars is highly misleading, this place deserves zero stars. My stay here was terrible, and the place should be condemned. In the week I was there February 18,2019 thru February 24,2019 I experienced changing rooms 3 times, bed bugs, heaters not working, extremely rude management, black mold, cold showers, overcharging for poorly maintained rooms, and noisy neighbors management didn't stop until the complaints overwhelmed them. Management was indifferent with the mention of black mold around the windows and bed bugs. On top of this, a friend of mine was stuck and asked to sleep on the floor of my room. The older woman charged me $20 for my friend to sleep on their floor. This owner also owns the Chalet Motel. If you check the bed bug report, The Holiday Motel will be on the list. The only positive were the nice cleaning ladies, I will give them that. Potential customers, please pass on this motel. Pay the extra, and find a better maintained and managed motel.

Yelp
We stay just about everytime we go to Bend. It is a very clean and cute place, each room we have stayed in is a little different . The staff is nice. Always have had a nice stay.

Yelp
On a day when every room in Bend was sold out, I got room #30 at the Holiday Motel, the smallest room in Bend. It worked fine. I slept in the comfy bed and showered in peace in the morning. If you need luxurious accommodations, room 30 is not it, but I was content with it. The whole place is just an affordable place to sleep. Buy luxury somewhere else.

Yelp
I really believe this was the best value room we've ever stayed in (under $50 for a Friday night)! I think this motel has an assortment of rooms, but our little room (upstairs above the check-in office) was so beautiful. It had a "bed and breakfast" feel to it. The bathroom was especially nice, even though the jetted tub was disabled. Also loved the 55" TV with DVR. Great experience!

Yelp
Holiday is a very affordable and comfortable motel located a few miles from downtown. Although it's on a busy street, traffic lets up by 10 o'clock and doesn't start again until about six, so it didn't bother me at all even though I am a light sleeper. I was in room 19 this time, and although it is on the smaller side, it fits a king bed, a small refrigerator with a microwave on top (both look new), two side tables, and a big dresser with a coffee pot and colorful mugs. In my stays here I have found each room to be a little different, some have desks, all appear to be newly refurbished with welcoming touches. Other rooms I've stayed in have a heating and air conditioner combination underneath the window, which is not my favorite as they tend to be a little noisy for me when they go on and off (this affects me even in the nicest hotels). However this room only has wall heaters which were effective and quiet even on this very cold (20°) day. Although I can hear cars pulling in and out of the parking lot, I didn't hear my neighbors at all, so the wall insulation has got to be pretty good. The bed was supper comfortable (medium firm), but if you like to sleep under thick blankets, as I do, ask for an extra one at the front desk when you check in. Lots of hot water with a strong luxurious spray will greet you in the morning! In summary, this is a safe, clean, comfortable hotel that I would recommend anyone on a budget.

Yelp
Arrived late after spending the evening visiting a friend in Bend. As I checked into the motel, I asked asked if I had dogs, and I responded no. She then told me I would have to pay a deposit in the room since she could see dog hair on my jacket. I asked about staying two nights but she insisted on inspecting the room before I would be allowed to stay again. I was not pleased. The room was small but casually clean. The next morning I checked out, told her I would not be coming back. And she called for maid service to check my room before she would refund my 100.00 deposit. I am so angry over having been shamed in front of everyone. I won't be coming back, and it was my fourth stay. I give one star , for the room and 1 star for the price.

Yelp
Do not stay here. While we were staying here, someone was murdered in the room next to us AT the hotel. There were cops outside the entire night and we could not get any sleep. The management handled if horribly and were extremely rude to us.

Yelp
We visited twice in the same week. My rating after the first visit would have been a 5. I'm torn between 3 and 4 now. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms, which while small was very nice. Our second stay was in one of the downstairs rooms. While still okay, it was a letdown after the first room. Also, the bathroom door in the downstairs room was hitting the toilet when opening or closing. I told management, who said maintenance would be there the next day. When we got back to our room at 7pm the next day, it had not been addressed. We mentioned it again and someone was sent right away, but we had to sit there while it was worked on. Also, our room was not made up by housekeeping the second day. We were told that because our "do not disturb" was on the first time they went past, they don't go back. Seems stupid, particularly since we left the room and took off the sign by 9:30am, and passed by the maid as we left the room (she saw us leaving and taking off the sign).

Yelp
Very nice for a motel. Quiet, clean, and comfy. Each room had different decor and color which was neat.

Yelp
Rating for a basic convenient affordable motel. This motel is a winner in this category. Cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Quiet. Perfect temperature control. Huge room. Comfy beds. Everything seems new, cotton sheets, comforters, towels & pillows. Very nice staff. Only minutes from old town Bend. Not fancy but very comfy.

Yelp
Though clearly not a glamorous place to stay, Holiday Motel was clean, comfortable and safe. A rude dude I met in Bend laughed that we were probably going to get murdered for staying here, but he can go kick rocks. For the price, this place is perfectly fine. Something like $70 got us a room with two queen beds, a fridge, ample space and a nice clean bathroom. Being a motel, you can park right outside your door in a well lit lot, which (as a recent car-theft victim) is comforting. Oh, and there is free wifi. Free wifi that works well. Score. We arrived late one night, and checked out early the next morning. For the under 10 hours we were at Holiday Motel, it was a perfectly acceptable place to lay our heads. For this category of business and this price point, I don't know what else you could expect.
