Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi

beautiful location, clean sand beach. when it comes to atmosphere, I think personally majority of the staff, with the exception of the chefs, and beach bar staff and towel staff, the rest are probably more suited in a funeral parlour. no smiles nothing. The hotel really due for an extensive overhaul, i think it was built in 1992. I must admit the shower was really good lots of hot water delivered though a huge shower head. but for the rest of the the room it would rate at maybe 2 or 3 star certainly not 4 star. the breakfast was the standard type of fare, than you will get in most hotels. Albeit tasty curries in the bay Marie and other hot food was predominantly cold. noodle bar was always hot, so you could make yourself a nice laksa, or chicken soup, as was the egg bar.The pool area was very good, clean big and well serviced. in general we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but the the hospitality was left wanting. im not sure if its cultural or something else. but its not friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Villa Langkawi! I really want to compliment the housekeeping team — they were incredibly kind, friendly, and always greeted us with warm smiles. The room was cleaned perfectly every day, towels replaced promptly, and they always made sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made our stay extra comfortable. Overall hotel service was excellent too. The staff at the front desk were helpful, the facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt smooth and organized. Truly a great experience — thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so pleasant! Highly recommended!

One of the oldest hotels in Langkawi. Location is ok. Not far from restaurants and small shops in Cenang, although there are other hotels in the same level and in closer distance. Rooms are clean but old (very old doors, old small wardrobe, old bathroom), but beds & mattress seems new. Breakfast is bad. Although it have variety but mostly tastless, the coffee is very bad, the egg live cocking station have only onion & tomato for the ommellet and coocker leaves the station 30 minutes before the breakfast end time. Beach is ok (clean) but public, so the hotel has no control on who can access it from the sides so security Is a concern. There are 2 pools: a large pool (not very deep) on ground level before the beach, with big Jacuzzi in part of it and small kids pool beside it. And itinfinity pool overlooking the beach & sea from a little bit higher ground which you have to pay for it even if you are staying in hotel!!! The resturant at the infinity pool have the best food in hotel. Note that the ground level pool is accessible from the beach without any door or security check. Overall, if you're on budget and just need somewhere to sleep with your family but you're spending 90% of your time out of the hotel it is ok to sleep here.

We already have been to Holiday Villa several times. We appreciate that it isn´t a tall building, directly on the beach on very large grounds (lawns with some big trees and a lot of blooming Frangipanis and a very big main pool) so that it is never crowded. The white fine sandy beach is fantastic not only for swimming but also for the sunset above the sea. Because of an offshore island the sea mostly is very calm and save for swimming - only concerning jelly fish one should be a little bit attentive and careful, we never had a problem with them. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of food so that everybody is supposed to be pleased. There are some small shops and reataurants in close vicinity. Altogether we always enjoyed our stay so that this year we even will come for a second time.

We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities are top class and we found all the staff to be really friendly and helpful. In particular we would mention Wawa who gave us so much help with our booking and travel arrangements. Our room was quiet, clean and secure with a nice view of the pool area. We were on a room only stay but there are some great little local restaurants to get meals. The Happy Hour offer at the bar was well priced and fun. Get the ‘Grab’ app for cheap transportation. One can say a proper beach front resort. Rooms are nice with basic amenities inside room. Bathroom is bit small considering the scale of resort. Proper outdoor gardeen, a beach café and a nice big swimming pool. Kids pool is also decent. There is also an infinity pool. But its chargeable even for room guests. Something that shouldn't be there for thr room guests. Breakfast spread is decent with limited vegetarian options. The cenang street is quite far. Not walkable. Grab is easily available although. There is a kids play zone. Considering location and beach front access, it was a decent property.

Our family vacation at this Holiday beach club resort was truly unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—it has his own private type clean, beautiful beach with stunning sunset views. The resort is extremely family-friendly, with spacious rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults happy.|The staff were warm, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The food was delicious with a lot of variety, and the pool area was well-maintained and safe for children. We especially loved the easy access to the beach, where we spent hours relaxing, playing, and enjoying the cool breeze.|Overall, it was the perfect blend of comfort, fun, and relaxation. Highly recommended for families looking to unwind and make beautiful memories together!

It was very good. The staff was amazing and friendly. They checked us in a little before time. The food quality was good and one of the cafes was accessible 24/7 - perfect for late night cravings. The place was beautiful and the beach access from within the hotel along with jacuzzi and pool makes it a perfect staying spot at Langkawi.
