Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi

Holiday Villas in the place to go for a great holiday experience. The rooms were large, very comfortable, clean, well equiped and maintained, with comfortable beds, good A/C and reliable, fast wifi Internet access. The resort has everything you could ask for with large swimming pools, a beautiful spa, great massages, direct access to a beautiful, clean and relatively quiet beach with great swimming. The food and drink options were good, with large well kept grounds in a great location at the quieter end of the strip. ||The staff do everything they possibly can to make sure you are well and truly taken care of, and make you feel relaxed and at home. They made sure we had everything we needed, were so very friendly and welcoming with any/all requests dealt with swiftly and with attention to detail. The effort everyone put in to making the Xmas and New Year celebrations absolutely amazing deserves huge praise. What a brilliant atmosphere they all created!||Head Chef Daniel and his front of house colleague Danial were both extremely friendly, nice and helpful, taking the time to regularly stop and chat and offer assistance if required. A special mention and thanks must go to the Assistant Reservation Manager Wawa - she does a amazing job! From the great help intially with all the email enquiries and booking, to always being so friendly, nice and professional when we met in person. We always felt we got the very best in service and care from everyone in team - they all do great work. Thank you!

Fabulous hotel! We spent a good chunk of our honeymoon here at Holiday Villa; everyone made it the most memorable honeymoon it could have ever been! I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Langkawi!! Or even visitors staying at other resorts to at least take the opportunity to go there a few nights!! They welcome all!! They have bonfire nights with live music, Fire shows, and good lord the beach omg! But most Importantly, the food the food at this resort is absolutely fabulous and I mean fabulous. It was honestly the best food I had on the island! My husband and I kept coming back every single day to try new dishes! The staff is so welcoming, helpful and great! I also think that it’s a very affordable hotel, which is so surprising because location location, location and you cannot beat the view they have and ammenities! We even took advantage of their jet ski and parasailing options, right at the resort that is directly on the beach and they were very affordable, and the staff was so helpful and wonderful that they truly provided such a great time!

The key advantage of the resort is it's location next to the beach. The resort is well maintained and the rooms are huge. It has a swimming huge pool with a baby pool and jacuzzi which is non chargeable for the in house guests however there is a premium pool and space which is chargeable per day. The inflatable tubes are also available at pool for use at a charge. There are four restaurants, out of which one is only for breakfast, one is 24 hrs cafe and rest two are by the pool and beach functioning morning to evening. In the evenings there is love misic at the restaurant by the beach. Food at all the restaurants is awesome. Right at the beach there are water sports activities which one can utilize. The rooms are big and functional but could be upgraded. The key card entry is there but electricity controls are manual, there is only one available plug point near the TV although they do provide an extension chord if you ask. Staff is polite and courteous. They have a gym and spa, ping pong table, lawn tennis courts etc. The resort is barely 2 kms from the famous Pentai Cenang beach and a shopping hub for duty free shops. Enjoyed our stay at the resort.

Pros - great & friendly staff. Excellent service. Great private beach. Cons - This hotel needs to be reupdated and modernised. It is still stuck in its 90s design. The room and the furniture is so outdated. We stayed for 3D2N and the breakfast menu was the same for 2 days. It also does not allow Grab riders to send food to the lobby so guests must go to the guardhouse to get their food.

Stayed for 5 nights and had no problems. All the staff were professional and friendly. The pool and private beach area are kept clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious and with many varied options. A fresh egg counter, noodle counter, a wide range of bakery items, hot dishes, salads and fruits. There are also vegetarian options, Malay/Indian spicier options and as well as congress and cereals. Other food options are served from the beach bar and the lobby café. There's also another bar/dining and infinity pool area but this requires an additional payment, not sure how much as we never bothered with it, but it looked nice. Hotel is in a nice location with numerous outside eateries within walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Villa Langkawi! I really want to compliment the housekeeping team — they were incredibly kind, friendly, and always greeted us with warm smiles. The room was cleaned perfectly every day, towels replaced promptly, and they always made sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made our stay extra comfortable. Overall hotel service was excellent too. The staff at the front desk were helpful, the facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt smooth and organized. Truly a great experience — thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so pleasant! Highly recommended!

Finding a great venue is all about the atmosphere, and this resort definitely delivers on charm. I visited for dinner and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food; every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. While the service was noticeably slow, the beautiful surroundings and spacious layout make it an ideal destination for hosting large parties or family functions. It has that perfect "celebration" energy that works so well for special events. If you aren't in a rush and want a scenic spot to host a gathering with great catering, this is a fantastic choice for your next big event.

Really enjoyed our time here. Was nice and quiet with plenty of sun loungers available by the pool and one the (stunning) beach at all times. Rooms are big and well equipped, could do with a splash of paint in places but certainly not bad. Has a nice beach bar with decent live music too. Staff were all efficient and friendly too. We didn't realise until a few hours after arriving that the infinity pool and the loungers around it are chargeable.
