Holistika Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Holistika. It’s a truly special place that has everything you could wish for in one destination: a serene jungle setting with amazing shadows and lights in the evening, peaceful relaxation areas, inspiring art walks, and a wide variety of activities. We especially enjoyed the morning yoga classes and sound healing sessions - both were unforgettable experiences. Diego, Rocío & Manuel from the Front desk team are incredible friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, complete with a hammock that made relaxing feel even more magical, insane and at the same time simple details of design and lights created a warm and cozy feelings. I was here in 2019 when the hostel was around $10 a night. Loved the yoga atmosphere, including in the mixed dorm. The two Olympic-length pools were great for me as a swimmer that likes cooler temps. I dream of this place being a water-therapy center, but temps would likely have to be increased. Loved the round sound room. The taxis in Tulum are questionable. The wonderful front desk person noticed the scheduled taxi wasn’t going to arrive on-time and panic drove me in their own car to the bus station. I arrived just in time. Of course, tip em good.

I stayed at Holistika Tulum while traveling solo and it was exactly what I was looking for. |The atmosphere is serene and holistic, with yoga, sound healing, and mindfulness activities that make it much more than just a hotel. The grounds and design are beautiful, and the dome is truly special space. I loved the healthy food and juice bar, perfect. for nourishing days of relaxation. |Most of all, the reception team — Diego, Rocio, and Manuel — were so warm and welcoming, making me feel cared for from start to finish. |Holistika is a real sanctuary in Tulum.

Holistika Tulum is a spiritual place, carefully built in the middle of the jungle. As guests, we felt the attention to detail in every little detail. Location The place has a relaxed and mystical feel. It was built in the middle of the jungle and offers everything you need, from accommodations, a pool, a restaurant, a shop, retreat rooms, a pottery workshop, and much more. The grounds are smoked every morning and evening, creating a pleasant aroma. Staff The entire staff is super friendly and authentic. Everyone is very accommodating and has a calm and relaxed demeanor. Restaurant The food is delicious and vegan. Here you can enjoy nutritious, light yet very filling meals. Retreats You can have a look on my added pictures for the whole program. The program in the Holistika changes depending on the people who are carrying it out. It can therefore vary completely from the status I photographed and provided in the photos. It's best to check the Holistika website online, where the programs are up-to-date. At our present time 06/2025 there was a huge variety from yoga classes to many ceremonies such as cacao ceremonies, breathwork, sound healing, Thermascal, etc., this place offers a unique wide spectrum. We celebrated the fact that one place combined everything. All in all, an absolute must do for anyone who wants to stay fit and active and enjoys being surrounded by like-minded people. Simply a great place with good vibes where people enjoy being.

This was exactly what I needed to unwind. The serene environment, beautiful setting and amazing food made for an incredible experience. I was only expecting to stay a day but enjoyed it so much that I went back for another day a few days later. They thought of everything!

It was such a magical experience in a magical place— we were there 5 days. Not long enough but time for kundalini yoga 3 days. Cacao ceremony. Restore yoga. Temazcal sweat lodge. Breathwork and plunge. Psychedelic breathwork. Sound healing. All of it— amazing and our beautiful room in the trees. So much privacy. We loved it. The food. Juices. Services. All of it. I can’t wait to go back. Its out of this world.

Huge, beautiful yet minimalist rooms. Variety of wellness offerings and excellent reception staff. Especially Nanuel! I've stayed across 4 goals now and the service stood out! It's far from town center (up to 30min walk over way) but I loved being immersed into the jungle environment to slow down. I disappointed by the food quality at the restaurant, didn't live up to other reviews. Maybe what we have in Australia is quite a high bar already. Smoothies were tasty though. Service by one make was excellent but most of the girls seems very uninterested. Overall enjoyed my stay

We attended yoga classes at Holistika and had the best experience! Our instructors were Kat, Noelia, and Leo, all fantastic!! The yoga shalas are beautiful and the entire property is full of love and intention. We can’t wait to come back to Tulum and visit Holistika again!! 💙🙏🕉️

Holistika is a Hotel/Wellness Community, so you do not have to stay there to attend the classes. You can also sign up online. It's kind of like that movie Wanderlust. I'll leave it at that. I attended at sound bath class, and it was amazing. Afterwards I walked the grounds and checked out the art walk. Then I finished by grabbing a smoothie. Holistika is a little hard to find at night, and maps will go out, so make a plan ahead of time. The people are friendly, I would definitely say there is a community feel here. If you are heading to tulum for more of a spiritual experience, this is a place you must visit.

Holistika itself as a holistic center is an amazing place. You have everything you need here- a treehouse, sound healing dome, artwalk, little nooks and crannies to explore, coworking, cafe, dessert shop, boutique, pool, everything. The restaurant however, is a place with mixed reviews. The food is rather low quality, the menu is extensive and does rotate occasionally, and some love it and some hate it. They pre make all their food and drink for the entire day so that they can serve quickly. The service, however, can be horrible at certain times, or really prompt depending on who you get. Their desserts, even though vegan, are full of sugar and fat. Their snacks and dips as well. It is essentially vegan junk food. I avoid eating here. It is a good place to come and meet people, socialize, enjoy the pool and premises.

Truly incredible place - lovely design aesthetic and atmosphere, very relaxing and calm. Great food at the restaurant as well. Good place to stay if you want to read by the pool and truly unwind.

I come here to get food and a smoothie. I am right down the road from Holistika. The grounds are just fabulous. Very soothing walkways through the jungle. They lead you to the different meditation, yoga, therapy rooms on site. Magical strolls will fill you with a sense of peace and good vibes. Mystical fountains, peaceful artworks and more. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. I did not stay here, so I can not say how the rooms are. But if they are anything like the Holistic Campus you won't be disappointed. They have different events everyday. Yoga classes, sound healing, etc. check their website for more details. They have many Vegan options for food. BTY: They do have a Botique on site.

Warning - All their wellness shots have agave syrup on them although it's not written on the menu as one of the ingredients. If you're sensitive to sugar ... like I am, it's a big let down. I told the staff about the incident and they said the shots are already pre-made. I was ven asking prior to ordering if they had a pure chlorella or spirulina drink since I didn't want much sugar. You think they would have warned me about the agave syrup. This is not the way to start your morning. The customer service is slow. There's a girl that works at the bar who will answer to orders but then forgets or doesn't delegate. We quickly learn not to ask her. She should at least say, please ask the other boys. Much room for improvement on customer service. Nice space
