Holland House Beach Hotel

Very clean and well staffed place on the boardwalk in Phillipsburg. Very busy and reservations were required in the restaurant. Picket up a pot of coffee every morning to enjoy on our patio. Very good food and service. Excellent staff from check in to beach boys. Micky was so courteous on the beach and at the beach bar that I ask his name so I could I be sure and send him a Thank You in my review. Hope to go back again some day !

I did not stay at this location but did have a great meal in the restaurant. The restaurant is organized in a very creative manner with two eating areas and the bar all adjacent to one another. It works very well, even with the music from the bar. The food was excellent with polite and efficient service. The gentleman located outside will get you a cab or transportation you desire. A good dining experience. It's a little hard to find if you are not from the area. I recommend transportation if you are visiting.

Great hotel right on the promenade and beach. Rooms are very clean, decent size and each has a covered balcony. Restaurant has a great location in back overlooking promenade, beach and marina. Breakfast was great, but dinner was not that great. We had it because there is not much else close by and setting is beautiful. Beach chairs and towels are included. Spend two very nice days there. Relaxing.

Lovely hotel and staff. Well located in town and on the beach. Only complaint is that bed was too soft. Also, it would be better if there was a place indoors to shower once one has checked out. Good breakfast included with many rates. We would happily stay again.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, making it a relaxing retreat.||||Special mention must go to the manager, who was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Their attentive service and warm hospitality truly made my stay memorable. ||The only downside was that the internet was a bit slow at times, which was a minor inconvenience. ||However, this did not significantly affect my overall positive experience.||||I would highly recommend Holland House to anyone looking for a pleasant and welcoming place to stay. ||||Thank you, Holland House team, for a fantastic experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Only beach bar I visit when on the island. Great price for comfortable cushioned beds, umbrella and 2 drinks each for the day. Ate lunch here too and the Poke bowls were really tasty and filling. Kely and sheimeka made sure we were looked after all day and sorted us out for 6 beds when it was really busy. Make sure you head here early to get beds as it’s the first beach bar that fills up when cruises are in port.

The food was exceptional and John our waiter was so much fun. It was our friends birthday and he made sure we had a good time. Even offered suggestions on where to go dancing which made the evening even better. Food was super fresh and the drinks were amazing. We returned the next more ing for coffee and croisant and it was amazing again!

A hard hotel to review and score. On the positive side the hotel had a great view from the sea view rooms which is right out across the beach, this is also the case at breakfast and dinner at the on site hotel. On the mixed side, the room whilst spacious and quite good is lacking a polished finish for the price point of the room. Oddities in design include the toilet being in essentially a closet, and having an automatic light such that if somebody uses during the night the light illuminates the room. The bed and pillows were also not that comfortable and neither of us slept well. For the staff, we had some super helpful staff members who assisted with some left luggage, but a number of others who if not cold were not exactly welcoming or friendly when interacting. Overall a mixed result.
