"Holley’s Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar Chef Mark Holley has been a Houston foodie-scene darling for years, so it was only a matter of time before he opened his own restaurant. Holley’s Seafood Restaurant &Oyster Bar pays tribute to Holley's diverse roots—including the Atlantic coast and Deep South—while serving the elevated and interesting fish and shellfish dishes that Houstonians crave. The flavors of New Orleans , Kentucky bourbon country, and, of course, the Texas Gulf, all make an apperance here. Expect a dynamic menu that may include everything from green gazpacho to crispy redfish to caviar. Don’t miss the Thai-style fried snapper for two or the stellar Sunday brunch."

This place is nothing short of Amazing. The owner and Chef has an awesome spirit he was beyond nice and made us all feel comfortable and welcome. The food was awesome the oysters favorable, chowder awesome and oh the pork chop. I didn't have room for dessert but needed to taste it. I love everything about my experience here!

My wife and I came for the Valentine's preset menu. The food was delicious and were nice size portions. We ate the Thai fried snapper, valentine's oysters and pork belly. The owner came to greet us and he was a wonderful man. Just had one problem with our server at the end. .

I really wish I liked this place as much as everyone else does. The food does give you a lot to like. The service was impeccable and the peanut soup was AMAZING. But the ribeye did not pack $56 worth of punch. My redfish was overcooked and the single shortrib agnolotti (small ravioli) was hardly worth mentioning in as much detail as the menu provided. I had 2 nice glasses of wine with expert guidance from the attentive waiter, but was underwhelmed by the options available by the glass. One last picky note, the dining room had a strange, dated feel and we had to ask to move from the front dining room which had the acoustics and ambience of a nightclub.

Went here for a birthday dinner during Houston Restaurant weeks. We were a slightly larger group. We all had something different and were all satisfied. The waitress was ok but the fact that the Chef/owner came to our table a couple times to say hello and see how we were doing. Definately a plus!!! I've never had oysters so it's hard for me to rate these but the flavor was excellent! I'd try them again. The fish and kimchi were also delicious, a little on the spicy side but perfect for me! I wish I could of started with dessert that coconut cake..oh..my..GOD! So good! Moist and very sweet...like I said wish I would of saved room for it! Since we were in a group we shared a couple things I also tried the cheesecake which was also good to me, some different like it. Everyone wish they would of ordered the cake! Definately a nice place. I hate to see they are closed due to the storm, I pray they were all ok and will open again soon! :)

Chef Holley has put together an excellent seafood menu from start to finish. Hands down one of, if not the best, seafood restaurants in town.

My husband took me here on the eve of my birthday. Not only it was cozy and aesthetically good, the food was excellent. The mussels in a Thai sauce was an instant favorite. The raw oysters was so fresh, although a bit pricey. Happy hour is the bomb. The bartender is so friendly and knowledgeable! I am a freak when it comes to restrooms cleanliness, and theirs was exceptional! We'll be back 😊

Holley's is a very nice establishment. The waitstaff is courteous and well trained and the decor is spot on. The menu selection is varied without overburdening the patrons. The food was very good although I feel it needed the slightest nudge. The gumbo was surprisingly exceptional. Of course, Holley's is a bit pricey but the Average Joe, such as myself, should consider this spot for special occasions.
