In my experience as a first time renter, Hollywood Bungalows has been the best in assisting with everything. Marcus made my process so easy and less of a headache. He’s always available and keeps it in shape pretty well around here. The neighbors are very polite and kind. Cleanliness is top tier! Even with the pet friendly neighbors. Thank you for helping me make a place I can call home. Big shoutout to Mr Marcus!

Booked using booking.com . It's a great idea but issues No cable or internet, coffee pot was missing. The unit needed to mopped and painted, toilet seat broken. Also reached out 3 times about the cable,internet and never resolved. Also the unit had roaches . Found 2 . Sorry please do better and hopefully management will inspect the units

I absolutely love living at Hollywood Backlot Bungalows! The location is unbeatable – tucked away with a quiet, peaceful vibe yet still close to everything you need in the heart of the city. The park is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully landscaped, giving it a cozy and welcoming feel. The management team is top-notch – they’re always responsive, professional, and genuinely care about the residents. The neighbors are friendly, and there's a real sense of community here that’s hard to find elsewhere. I've been a resident at Hollywood Backlot Bungalows for almost three years, and overall, it's been a pleasant experience. If you're searching for a community that feels like home, this is definitely the place for you. The neighborhood has a welcoming, tight-knit atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The staff is friendly, and I’ve enjoyed the peaceful environment here. However, no place is without its drawbacks. Recently, I’ve noticed a significant and unexpected increase in my electric bill, which has been puzzling and a bit frustrating. This issue has been ongoing, and I haven't been able to get a clear explanation for the spike, which I hope is addressed soon. In terms of amenities, I think there is room for improvement, particularly with the gym and pool. While they are functional, they could definitely use some upgrades. The gym feels outdated, and the pool area could benefit from more regular maintenance and better cleanliness. Another minor issue is the responsiveness of the maintenance team. While they are generally helpful, there are times when it takes longer than expected to get a work order completed. It would be great if the maintenance team could work on improving response times. All in all, Hollywood Backlot Bungalows is a solid place to live, with a cozy, homelike feel that makes up for some of the minor inconveniences. With a few improvements in amenities and maintenance efficiency, this place could be even better.

I recently took a tour of the Hollywood Backlot Bungalow to check out leasing options, and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions. The amenities were solid, and the location is fantastic—close to everything in Hollywood but still feels tucked away and private. Its big enough for what you need and the amenities on the property make it worth it. The tour gave me a good sense of what living here would be like, and overall, it left a positive impression.

I have lived here in this community for one year and with the new management the place has definitely improved. The property manager is always responsive to any maintenance needed. It is a safe community for families.

I left a review months ago before I moved out, and it looks like they deleted it. well long story short. don't live here. you never get your bill on time, they say they're gonna get to upgrading stuff and then never update the tenants, they never answer the emails or the phone and when they do they sound like they don't want to talk to you. and my bf was almost assaulted by another resident and the manager Marcus wouldn't even reply to my text message telling him what happened. they do not care about your safety here. also the smoke alarms are too sensitive

I love it here!! The location is ideal and the complex is beautifully maintained, amenities included! Management/maintenance have been friendly and responsive. The residents are also pleasant! This is truly a great place to call home!

I could write a book if I told you everything about my stay since we moved in, so I'll keep it short list of all the things that are wrong with this place. MANAGEMENT, QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS USED IN THE HOME, PARKING, HIGH RENT, AND NOW A ON GOING PROBLEM WITH OUR MAIL. NOT JUST US BUT MOST OF THE COMMUNITY. Mail had always been a problem but for the past 3 weeks it's gotten to a point where we don't even have access to our mail box when management keeps saying they are taking care if it. DO NOT MOVE HERE OR EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MAJOR HEADACHES!!! The outdoor amenities is what convinced us to move in so don't let that fool you. MANAGEMENT GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!!! I'm seriously thinking of not even paying my rent because we didn't rent this place under these conditions. It happened after the fact.

They still owe me my $500 deposit. The 2&3 bed houses are the size of a studio. There's roaches.

This is the place to be! Marcus is awesome. when we applied on the website in the first week of December , we got a super fast response and In person tour date . Nina is Marcus assistant /front desk associate and she helped us with all the questions we had as a family unit . After just a couple days we were approved and moved in with welcome open arms with a personal call . Anytime we needed something they answered calls right away and trust me this place is great for singles, family and animal friendly ,Very safe and super clean. No complaints! The new management team (Marcus is the best !! , make sure you talk to him if you need anything !!! ) Nina also helps out for the moving in part . I am happy to say this is home now! Don't read the bad reviews , I found them very false and invalid.

I love here, I just been living here for 3 weeks and I feel this is the first time Im so happy with every one in here. Form neighbors to management. In the beginning was a little hard to make an appointment to come and see the property however this people work so hard for new tenants and old residents they only have two hands. DEVIN Joseph the BEST OF THE BEST. Never felt so happy in a place specially with management. They go above and beyond withe their service, every time I needed something Devin was there to help, even before signing the lease I came a few time to see the apartment and other units after I told them the want I wanted, because the place is so lovely that it was hard to decide which bungalow to live in. Hopefully this people get enough because they all deserve it.

My Fiancé and I love our first home together. Will has made the process smooth for us and he makes sure every tenant is comfortable and he strives for our comfort. Its a beautiful lot and the amenities are amazing as well. Thank you Will For All You Have Done. Myself And Crystal Appreciate Your Hospitality. You made us feel at home!!

I completed the application and Will told me they would have their decision by end of that day. Days have passed and I have not heard from him and when I email and call no response. His voicemail is full and I can't leave a message. This is making me reconsider moving here and pulling my deposit.

We survived an entire year here before getting out as fast as possible. At the start, we moved into a two bedroom infested with the biggest cockroaches we've ever seen, lost power regularly, had water lines burst and flood, had management completely AWOL through almost all of it, and (as we learned from friends in the complex) we actually had it GOOD. Some folks had rodents and rooms that never had working electricity that management to this day ignores. To my understanding, this place is being sued by everyone (we even had to speak to a contract lawyer because we paid to have two parking spots in our lease, were only given one and never the second, then management even tried to tow our second car when we parked it in an unused spot on the complex). They're even allegedly being sued by the city because they built the bungalows too close together and the entire place is a fire hazard. I don't understand ANY positive reviews (and have honestly never seen a couple of the people reviewing here in the complex) given every neighbor we've talked to is miserable -- it'll honestly take a ludicrous toll on your mental health living here. Don't get starry eyes about the pool and gym: the gym's electricity has gone out every time I used it and I've seen more cockroaches around the pool than in the average bungalow's vents (which is a TON). To boot, we spackled, painted, and cleaned the place to be significantly more livable than how they leased it to us (per their instructions), and now we've gone almost a month with just about no word on ever getting our deposit back. Please do not lease property here unless you are literally in witness protection, and even then appeal that. BONUS: I'll edit this post when we get our deposit back so you get an idea of how long it takes: if you don't see an edit, assume they've stolen it to cover the alleged lawsuits and fleeing tenants, and will do the same to you.

I been living here for a year and let me just say, RUN!!! Don't live here! Very unpleasant staff, very few parking spaces, all the units are cheaply made, and nothing works properly! AC Unit is out and I've reached out to management and they keep dodging my calls. Don't waste your time applying here!

Management and staff are great; relaxed and professional. everyone is supportive specially the leasing agent Sivitri was very kind and made my whole experience very pleasant.
