Holmquest Farms & Greenhouse

Two weeks ago at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival I bought two bags of garlic from Holmquest booth. One bag of Seed garlic and 2# of full bulb garlic came to $45. The seed garlic turned out to be very dry and some of the cloves were brown. Even the full bulbs were dry; definitely not garlic harvested in 2025. This is a disgrace.

I know a few people that had went there and some of the fruits and vegetables are rotten on the bottom and some workers I had alcohol on there breath it's some blonde woman I don't think drinking on the job is appropriate for business someone should investigate that problem

They have wonderful farm produce. They also have amazing and beautiful flower field for pick-your-own. It's breathtaking view at the field.

The “pick your own” flower farm is fantastic. Great flowers and they are priced about as low as anywhere. Excellent deal.

I called before I came because I was looking for a specific plant and I live about 45 minutes away. When I called they stated that they had it, but when I got here they in fact did not. I walked around for several minutes looking for help and found none.

By far THE best greenhouses I have ever been to. Huge selection of herbs, plants, and flowers. Hanging baskets, flowers already in gorgeous pots, etc. I was in heaven. Beautiful flowers that you could tell are very well taken care of. Definitely a place to go if you're looking to do some planting or gifting flowers to others. Amazing. And side note...they have chocolate ganache mint plants which smell like mint chocolate chips. I'll be grinding the leaves up and putting it in vanilla ice cream!

Always enjoy going there for my beautiful plants. They treat me like I am family. Have been going there for many years. I will be go to ng back there this week. Do miss seeing old gram as sheet was a fixture there and treated her customer fantasticly.
