The best ice cream parlours for Asian flavours in Singapore - SilverKris

"An unexpected, innovation-focused spot in Yishun known for experimental, locally inspired flavors that reinterpret traditional snacks and desserts—examples include muah chee (glutinous rice dough with sesame), orh nee (yam paste) and intense black sesame—aimed at adventurous palates." - Sanjay Surana

A pleasant dessert to end the year. The waffle was crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. There are so many flavours to choose from and finally I decided on MSW & Elvis. The ice cream was smooth and creamy. Yummy! The staff is friendly, polite and smileys despite me trying out a few of the flavours. Definitely going to return again for my ice cream craving.

The coffee is smooth and really well-brewed, and the ice cream is delicious every single time. Simple, cosy spot with consistently good flavours. A great place to satisfy both coffee and dessert cravings! Very nice spot to hang out with friends and family.

Attitude of staff: ain’t good With that, i can say the same about their customer service If there is a lot of customers, and seating arrangements ain’t good, staff should take the initiative to arrange the table and chairs and make sure customers get to sit comfortably + safety Instead, oh you cannot sit there cause it will block the door - so what do you suggest, the whole lot of us can leave your shop ? We took the initiative to arrange the table and chairs so as to adhere to their safety. Only for the staff to remind us “please put the table and chairs back” guess being 1 of the few ice cream shop around the area/ block makes them kinda don bother with sales right ? “ Ya Ya Papaya “ seems that way to me GST - greeting, smile, thank you - 0 marks - time to attend some WSQ customer service course to improve your staff BST - body, speech, tone - 0 marks

Stumbled upon this store on a hot day. A nice and cozy store with ample seats. I ordered an iced long black and a scoop of mango sago pomelo ice cream. There’s a wide variety of ice cream options and they all look so yummy. The coffee was so-so tasted kinda stale to me but I like that there’s 2 options, chinook and brazil yellow bourbon. I noticed that many patrons ordered a pot of tea to go with their ice cream, so maybe you can give that a try. 10/10 will visit the next time I come to Yishun 👍🏻⭐️

Love this shop. The ice cream and the Charcoal Waffle with salted caramel is next-level good. I like coming in before noon when it’s quiet, just perfect to enjoy some me time. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Loved the cozy atmosphere of this small cafe! The gelato flavours were very tasty too, we got their kaya toast and honeycomb flavours. Great food aside, their service was also fantastic: 1. We sat in the cafe for a ridiculous amount of time and weren't chased out 2. While we were the only customers left in the cafe, they started playing anime songs until other customers entered. It was super lovely hearing Blue Bird being played over the speakers 3. Staff were very friendly and polite!! Would definitely come back here for the food and vibes 👊👊

Holy Cow Creamy Ice Cream delivers on its name — the ice cream is rich, smooth, and satisfyingly creamy. The crispy waffles were a pleasant surprise, adding a nice texture contrast. The cappuccino was a bit too thick for my liking, but the latte was decent. Overall, a solid spot for dessert lovers, especially if you're after indulgent ice cream and crunchy waffles.

Coffee is a bit strong but fragrant. The cup size is slightly bigger than a standard espresso for a cappuccino. Wafer is not bad.

Yelp
Nice cozy place with waffles and ice cream combo. Has some local ice cream flavors like ondeh ondeh flavor. Tastes like it's namesake dessert.

Yelp
The outlet is located under a HDB block, across the street from the church. There is both outdoor and indoor dine in area. Besides ice cream, there is also a limited menu of drinks and snacks such as waffle and brownie. Crispy Chicken Waffle ($15.90) Oven 'Fried' Parmesan Chicken on top of Triple Cheese Waffle Only available on weekends. I like the cheesy with a hint of spicy taste in the light fluffy waffle. NYMPH OF THE NILE Artisan Tea ($4.50) from Gryphon Tea The tea tastes light with a hint of rose taste. Honeycomb Ice Cream ($3/ scoop) The ice cream was crunchy, without being too sweet. Just the right choice to have when the weather was so hot.

Yelp
A pleasant place in the north to get some decent ice cream, considering the rarity of cafes in the area. :-) the waffles were crispy and tasty, allowing me to finish the entire thing without feeling jelat. Reasonably priced at $3 per scoop for normal flavours such as the honey/gula melaka/vanilla, the ice cream was strong and smooth and went well with the waffles. My partner had the brownies with honeycomb ice cream. The ice cream was not too sweet and went well with the brownies which were heated before they were served, making a warm treat. It was rather crowded when we came here in a Saturday afternoon despite it being located under a rather ulu HDB block. Would drop by again if in the area

Yelp
Cafes have been very scarce in the north, until recently a new slew of cafes started to open up there. Holy Cow Creamery is one of such that has recently open in Yishun. Ice cream is their specialty here, but they also sell waffles and drinks. The Waffles with Elvis ice cream ($7.50) is a nice combination to have. The waffles is crisp, not too soft and tasted not bad. The Elvis ice cream has a very rich taste of banana and peanut butter. Now that there are more cafes opening in the newer estates, people who live around the area will be able to visit them. If you are around the Yishun area, you can now enjoy a ice cream parlour right at your neighbourhood without having to travel far!

Yelp
Long drive to find this place but it was worth it! The waffles were excellent. Crispy on the outside and in. Ice cream were very good. Already been here twice. Loved it both times.

Yelp
A hipster café close to home finally!! So exciting. Great vibe and great prices - $2.90 for a scoop of ice-cream! Interesting flavours too! Wanna go back to try the rest. Even the Minister of Law buys his ice-cream here. Don't play play...haha (saw him when I was hanging out)

Yelp
Good concept and nice ambience. But the ice cream is sub standard compared to udders. Very plain in flavour just like those cheap box ice cream from supermarket
