Holy Moly Bar

Stopped in after a round at Chambers Bay on a Friday eve and this place totally hit the spot. Easily one of the best Manhattans I’ve ever had — no idea what they’re doing, but it works. Cool handcrafted touches around the bar, plus a big back room with card and board games. Staff was super friendly and the bartender was great to chat with. Relaxed, inviting vibe all around. Highly recommend — my new Tacoma go-to. Cheers, Holy Moly!

Great cocktails and cozy cool place to drink them. We liked the Corpse Revivor and the Godfather Russian.

This review is for the lovely human that went out of their way to honor an event we had set up there before the hours changed. I really appreciate the care and attention he gave this matter. We also love the atmosphere, it's so freaking cute and comfy, drinks are lovely, food is pretty good too. Sadly, the bartender with the blonde hair (male) was super rude and so unfriendly. Didn't really match the vibe of this beautiful place. The first time we came the gentleman (not the same one) was SO nice. We will be back! Hopefully a nicer bartender will be working. I do hope this place stays around, a great addition to 6th ave!

Great little bar with quality cocktails and food. Happy hour is not their highest priority as the happy hour menu (one small piece of paper on the bar) has “outdated pricing” (specialty cocktails read $10 and they hadn’t gotten around to changing it to $13). Ancient grain bowl was our favorite food item.❤️❤️

Loved this place! The food was excellent, and the drinks were creative and really well made. Service was quick and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The bartender has great taste in music, and everyone around us seemed to be having a good time, which made the evening even better. We stayed for about two and a half hours and enjoyed every minute. It’s clear the owner takes great pride in this bar — the attention to detail in the décor goes far beyond what you’d expect from a neighborhood spot. My wife especially appreciated the cozy fireplace. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

To the person who posted “you’re a bartender, we chose a better path” I haven’t been to this establishment yet but because of your degrading review I plan to go. Please do not ever degrade ANYONE for their work. If it wasn’t for them (no matter dissatisfied you are) you wouldn’t have gotten a hand crafted drink. You would have had to make it yourself and apparently you wanted someone else to make it otherwise you would have fashioned your own drink at home. “We chose a better path” as someone who also “chose a better path” I am eternally grateful for servers who carefully bring me my food and/or drink after a long day because they have to endure the attitude you bring (which is a terrible representation of those of us who “chose a better path”). Thankful for our servers. They put up with so much.

My friends and I came in for a drink and the atmosphere was so nice! Very chill and warm. We played some of the board games and even played a couple games of mtg. Would totally recommend for anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to drink and hangout.

A welcomed addition to Tacoma’s 6th Avenue! Cocktails are properly made with a nice selection of small bites, salads, and sandwiches. And the prices are great! And they have a Midori Sour! No excuse not to come visit many times throughout the month.
