Not what I expected. Came for shakes, came out with yummy food. I would highly recommend the shakes here. I've had my fair share of shakes but this place is up there. Classic glass bottle with a giant straw. They have this take out special that's really affordable. At the time of writing it was 8.99 a shake. On a hot summer day, this will hit. On a cold winter day, it will hit as well. Very filling! The birthday cake and Brownie ones are good. They have so many flavors ;)

Google
Cute dessert place that opens till late. Shakes were a bit too watered down and sweet for me since I prefer a smoothie-like texture. Waffles comes with a choice of ice cream flavor. I really like the brownie one but it is very heavy especially for one person. Lots of tables and seating indoor.

Google
Superbly awesome rolls and fries. Especially the special vanilla cold coffee was icing on the cake. Totally enjoyed with my friends and my family. Very conveniently located in Toronto downtown and connected through TTC and location is so vibrant. Authentic Indian taste in Toronto for sure. You're gonna love every order you would make and taste. The staffs were very cordial and inviting too. 5 star for their service and taste and extra points for shakes.

Google
Coolest Milkshake & Dessert Holy Shakes has over 100 exciting and different gourmet fusion milkshakes that come in all shapes, sizes and colours! There are so many yummy options for everyone! The Super Freak Shakes and Waffle Freaks look so cool and are a really nice treat! Featured items: ✨Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake ✨Berry Banana Waffle The cheesecake milkshake and waffle looked so phenomenal and incredibly delicious! I can’t wait to try other delicious shakes next time!

Google
Delicious and affordable (pricey, but affordable, not bad for the sizes). The presentation of the dessert items is beyond cute, and everything tastes so good. We got a straweberry old school milkshake and a Kitkat Caramel Brownie with the brownie on the side. They also sell food like burgers and other fast food. Restaurant itself was a bit dirty and smelled like spices, but not bad enough to keep us from dining in.

Best part of this place is it’s open until late night! We went there as we craved for cheesecake, they have Cheese factory cakes, tasted so delicious! Check out their menu, they have plenty of options to choose.. all types of favourites can be found here. The super freakshakes are loaded with sugar, give a try when you’re gone with friends

Google
I rated the shake three stars for its taste, but aside from that, I wasn't impressed. The place had an odd smell, the music was excessively loud, and the wait for our two shakes took forever. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I won't be returning.

Google
Ridiculously good! A little pricey but very delicious, a huge variety of desserts (cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, milkshakes, waffles, and combination of everything altogether!). Expect spend around $20 per person. Additionally, if you want fast food, here you have from butter chicken to burgers!

Yelp
I was truly impressed - quality milkshakes here! I got the blueberry milkshake and it was really good! Came with a piece of cheesecake on the top which was a great touch. It also comes in a reusable jar which I thought was great, took it home. The service was good and the ambiance was as expected - has some chairs and tables to sit, but nothing special about the look of it. I would definitely recommend trying this spot if you're in the neighbourhood. They have food items as well which I will return to try in the future! Came here after a Michelin star experience... lets just say I may have enjoyed this the most... LOOOOOL

Yelp
I came here for dessert with some friends, and split the Lotus Biscoff combo. The standout for me was the waffle, which was freshly made and was worth the 15 min wait. The ice-cream was also great, and the cheesecake was nice and rich. It was a little crowded inside, but we still managed to get a table to eat. They should definitely consider expanding since they look like they have quite a lot of customers!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I saw this place while passing by Queen Street on a Saturday evening. We were intrigued by the types of milkshakes and the variety of twists to Indian street food (they are both in the same building). The interior was small but cozy- there were a few tables where people can sit and eat. We arrived just in time to get one of the last tables! We sat down and looked at the menu posted on the wall and on the sides. We ordered a Rasmalai milkshake and Chili momos (chicken) on cheesy Tandoori noodles. Then we went back to our table to wait for our name to be called. When our name was called, we were so excited to eat and drink! The Rasmalai milkshake tasted like its name- it was milky and sweet. The portion size was big, so we were glad to share it. The chili momos (chicken) were juicy and spicy like hot peppers- the spices were exploding in my mouth! The Tandoori noodles were cheesy, soft, chewy and a little less spicy, so it was easier for me to eat them. My boyfriend loved that they were spicy- he said that eating it reminded him of his home (he's from India). If you're looking to try some fun and delicious food, try here!

Yelp
Just outside Kensington market you'll find a super unique and Incredible dessert place that's guaranteed to make your jaw drop. Holy shakes is joint with the TO Kathi roll eatery and is the perfect Collab with some spicy Indian street food snacks and sweetness galore to wash it down with. The interior has limited seating but is nice and cosy, and the actual establishment has a great location near the famous Chinatown and Kensington market. Service is super friendly as well and they are more than willing to cater to your tastes. I opted for the berry KitKat milkshake mixing one of my favourite chocolate bars with raspberry syrup and it was chocolate berry heaven. Served in their famous glass bottle (5% off your next shake if you bring it back!) - it reminds you of those retro old school diners with a twist. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it for a treat! Just make sure to take an insulin shot before you go!

Yelp
This restaurant is a Picasso of deliciousness. You have Indian food fused with Mexican manifested in the form of Tikka Tacos, but then they also have over-the-top crazy milkshakes with fat slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Would highly recommend. Would also recommend they franchise it, because I will by 10,000 of these.

Yelp
Good shakes, quick service and okay ambiance. It's just for the aesthetic of the milkshakes

Yelp
Holy Shakes serves beast shakes with full slices of cheesecake on top, or regular cake/desserts. Basically, a full size mason jar full with a rimmed top, full of shake and a giant piece of cake or dessert on top, topped with whipped cream, sauce and powdered sugar. If you're not able to handle/consume one of these beast shakes, they have 'Summer Shakers' served in a more traditional slim bottle with small little fixens on top. We were in the mood for waffles as well but unfortunately they weren't available, but look forward to trying in the future! Definitely recommend, and an Indian Fusion restauraunt attached called TO Kathi Roll (TKRE), definitely a go-to spot for a full meal before/after!

Yelp
I heard about Holy Shakes before coming to Toronto. B and I passed by it couple times but every time we were in the area, we were full. This time after my work event, I made a trip to Holy Shakes. I came here around 10 pm and holy moly, it was busy. The place is super small and on top they share the space with T.O.'s Kathi Roll Eatery. I got the hazelnut explosion for $15. They make it upon order and it took 10 mins. The hazelnut explosion was a bit messy to consume. I was given the option of having the topping on the glass or on the side. Of course on top! So, I can get a nice picture with it. The milkshake came with a Kinder surprise egg, Bueno chocolate and Ferrero Roche on top. The milkshake was very grainy. It was not smooth. I wasn't a fan of it when I got to the end because it made my throat itchy. Basically all the hazelnut pieces went to the bottom. Also because there were no seats, I had to drink my milkshake on the way back and at the end, my hands were super messy and sticky. The flavor wasn't wow either. It was basically a vanilla milkshake mixed with Ferrero Roche. I would say the milkshake fell on the more expensive end. I felt like this was more of an Instagram gimmick. It is definitely not worth the price paid and I don't think I will be back.

Yelp
Holy shakes has many locations. This is the first Toronto location (near Queen and Spadina) and the newest with the soft opening on 2021-12-11. One thing to note is that every Holy Shakes location also has a T.O.'s Kathi Roll Eatery in the same restaurant; both are owned by the same owner. The former offers dessert shakes and cakes while the latter offers fusion Indian cuisine. My son and I went on 2021-12-22 after its recent grand opening. We went to check out the new restaurant and only ordered one shake: Oreo Hazelnut Exotic Shake ($11). It comes with a Ferrero Roche on top. It was delicious, tastes fresh, and filling. Yes a $11 is expensive but shake is enough for 2 people or 1 super hungry person. I was surprised to learn that the Exotic Shakes have the same volume of milk shake as their Super Freakshakes. The former comes in a thin glass bottle while the latter comes in a wide glass mug. The Super Freakshakes come with a dessert (eg, cake, waffle) on top. There are so many shakes to pick from! What I didn't know was that you can mix and match to create hundreds of different shakes! You can also choose the ice cream option and milk option. You can take the glass bottles/mugs with you (yes, takeout orders also come in glass bottles/mugs). On you next visit, when you return the bottle/mug, you get 5% off your next order. The restaurant is small in that there are only 2 small tables and counters to put your food on. My family were planning to return in Jan to have a full meal (from both restaurants) in Jan but then there was a "no indoor dining" mandate imposed 2022-01-05. Once that happened, the tables are no longer available, even if you wanted use them to take pictures. My pictures from 2021-12-22 also include another diners' Exotic Shakes and Super Freakshakes. There is a little market where they sell pre-made shakes, cakes (that they also use in their Super freakshakes), and snacks (that they also use in their shakes). Their cakes are from Cheesecake Factory. There is free WiFi. There is a washroom whenever there is indoor dining. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.  There is parking on city streets but be aware of time restrictions. Review 2022-002. You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

Yelp
First time here and was blown away. We ordered the cookies and cream milkshake, nutella & oreo milkshake, brownies and the chocolate mousse cake. We ended up having a delightful sugar coma. Wow ! Deliciously outstanding.

Yelp
I have seen their shakes on social media and had to try! I ordered the S'mores Sandwich shake. As beautiful as the shake looks, I was disappointed. It unfortunately tasted like vanilla milkshake with a s'more on top, I was expecting something more than that - especially for the price.

Yelp
Insane variety, overall great shakes. Highly recommend. Wish they had this place where I live but will definitely return if I'm ever back in Toronto 10/10
