Another amazing lunch at Home Hill Winery. Exquisite food, wine and service at this beautiful winery in the heart of the HuonValley. Congratulations HHW for bringing fabulous food and wine to the Valley

This was a stand out on our trip to the Huon Valley. We came for a wine tasting and also had lunch. Blessed with good weather we were able to sit outside however views from inside were just as nice. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive and the food was of a high quality and standard. The chicken liver parfait really stood out but our mains of eye fillet and trout were delectable. The simple grilled broccoli with nduja was superb as was the beef tartare. The cheesecake was the fluffiest most delicious cheesecake I have ever eaten and definitely was surprising and unexpected. Highly recommended.

Delicious lunch and great service from Matt. We enjoyed the twice cooked soufflé and duck pie, the fish of the day and the 2 sides and the chocolate tart.one if the best meals we have had in Tassie.

We enjoyed lunch here. Views are lovely and the service top notch. We had the dry aged pork chop and it was so tender and delicious. The petite fours were just enough. For the wine we chose their Reserve Chardonnay and it was very nice. Will definitely go again.

Our food was exceptional. Truly delicious. Unfortunately, we felt terribly uncomfortable by one of the older ladies (manager, owner?) who seated us. She was extremely rude, demanding my 14 month year old quit playing nicely with her books and get in the high chair as she was nothing but a hazard. My 90 year old grandparents were shocked and suggested with leave as they weren’t comfortable and the food wouldn’t taste as nice as a result. I am saddened by this experience, feel socially attacked by this woman and ultimately don’t feel comfortable enough to dine here again. Which is a shame because the kitchen staff and our servers were both lovely, kind and hospitable. If someone from Home Hill wants to discuss this further, I would be happy to.

We had lunch at the Home Hill Winery today. I’m so glad we booked as we witnessed numerous people turned away. We arrived an hour early to experience wine tasting before a 3 course lunch. The meals were generous, delicious and wonderfully presented. The cost was very reasonable. I need to mention the service .. possibly the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. If you are visiting Tasmania and want to take a loved one to a special restaurant, I recommend the Home Hill restaurant and winery.

This was our first stop on our winery tour and had a great experience! The guy at the bar was quite funny, he had a bit of dry humour which was always fun! The wines itself where delicious and we learnt a lot about the making process and other key parts to Home Hill’s wines and the surrounding winery! Overall a great experience! Has to be a 5/5 stars from me!
