Room (standard) was a good size - twin beds well-separated and the mattress topper and bedding was exceptionally comfortable. Plenty of power outlets. Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities which I wasn't expecting. Bathroom was a good size and lovely and toasty due to underfloor heating. Nice seating area. There is free tea and coffee in the reception 24 hours, the breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety, the fica (3-5pm everyday) was also lovely (one or two cakes or cookies and fruit), and the evening buffet (6-8pm) far exceeded my expectations - there were 4 lovely salads each night and 1 or 2 different main courses - I enjoyed it all. Coffee/tea/water is always available and there was a menu for additional drinks (and desserts) to purchase which were all reasonably priced. We sadly didn't get the time or energy to use the hot tub. Finally, the hotel is within a couple of minutes walking distance to the main centre - we went on 4 different organised excursions with different pick-up points and all were within a 5 minute walk. The Uber (around £25 including 10% tip) to and from the airport was very easy and dropped off right outside the door. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I returned to Tromso.

Really impressed with this hotel. Great staff and loved the breakfast + afternoon cake + dinner arrangement, given how expensive it is to eat and drink in Tromsø! Room was great but would benefit from a safe and plugs / USB chargers by the bed. Free Sauna and rooftop jacuzzi (~£4 per person for 30mins) were lovely. Hotel's location is extremely convenient for Tromsø centre and for tour pick-ups too. Definitely recommend this hotel with the full dining option.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Near the city center and near every meeting point of every trip. Breakfast is nice and varied. Rooms are spacious and bed was clean. The rooms look a little bit old and corners are not that clean.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The rooms are comfortable. My only complaint was the buffet style breakfast and dinner. Something that sounded convenient on paper, but I would've preferred to opt out as the quality was not adequate for the premium price per night.

Great location right on the harbour. Rooms mostly do not have harbour view but are spacious and comfortable. Sauna (free) with view on the 5th floor. Jacuzzi is payed but has nice view too.

For $320 a night, I expected a comfortable bed to sleep on. We had 4 rooms, 2 twin beds each, which we requested, and we had 3 different kinds of mattresses. 5 of the beds had no mattress, just a box spring, with actual old-fashioned spring, and a cheap, medium firmness 2” topper. Extremely uncomfortable 1 of the beds had an actual mattress on top of the box springs, and it was ok. Two of the beds had newer memory foam, good mattresses. I asked at the front desk to switch rooms; even asking if I could check the dirty rooms in my hallway to see if they had better hallways, and she said I could not, as it is not their habit to switch rooms. I asked for a spare mattress, and none available. I asked for another topper and was given that. The front desk person was friendly and nice, and it’s not her fault. However, if you are like me and require a decent mattress to sleep well because of your back, do NOT stay here. Your health will suffer for it.

Wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room is large compared to most European hotels. Beds and pillows are comfortable and clean. Hotel has a hot tub on a patio and dry sauna which was a big plus after a full day of walking and exploring. There is a work out room but didn't see anyone use using it. Their breakfast is so good with many options. At 3:00 they served tea, coffee and croissants. A full dinner is also served at 6:00.

We stayed here at the end of November for 4 nights and having read a number of poor reviews wasn’t sure on what to expect but was pleasantly surprised – this hotel is great. On arrival the lady on reception was extremely friendly and very helpful making sure we had all the info we needed for our stay at the hotel. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed although some more hanging space would have been beneficial. The room had a kettle and tea/coffee, which was ideal for filling our flasks before going out. The view wasn’t great from the window but as it was pretty much dark whenever we were at the room it wasn’t an issue for us.|Breakfast and Dinner was served in the same restaurant on the ground floor were water and hot drinks were available. There wasn’t much choice (1 meat option and 1 veggie option) but what was available was very good quality and we enjoyed every meal we had there.|There is a lounge area in reception where tea and coffee are available 24/7 and they provided home made cake (Fika) between 3 and 5which was great especially if you wanted a break from being out in the cold without costing you a fortune in a local café.|The hotel location is amazing as it is centrally located on the harbour front. All of our excursions were never more than a 5-minute walk to the pick up point, also if you are using the airport express bus it is only a few minutes walk from the stop.|We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
