For the price, you can’t beat the location especially with the views of the harbor. Sure the rooms could be updated but the food was good. I also love cake and coffee in the late afternoon. The staff were very nice. I also appreciated the expertise of Emily in the lobby to help with tours and general questions. Breakfast and dinner were also excellent. Also happy about the luggage storage as we had a later flight. The jacuzzi was nice but not everyone staying used the reservation system which was awkward.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Yes, the decor is old and ugly and the hotel could definitely use a touch up with some more modern design and more welcoming colors. BUT: - the gym has everything you need to get a workout in, the sauna was fantastic (big window to see right on the harbour), there is also a jacuzzi with a beautiful view. - the rooms are big, the bed are very comfortable, cleaniness is a 8/10. Well isolated too. - the breakfast is really great, huge buffet selection - the dinner is also a buffet, a bit less options than for breakfast but i always asked for a vegetarian option and they made me something special. You will have salads, hot dishes and soup too. Tastes great. - the location of the hotel is fantastic. 5 min walking distance from everywhere. - the personnel was also very welcoming. Overall, I think it’s a great hotel if you are not looking for the fanciest room decor!

The staff were great, the evening meal was also very good (they had vegetarian options as well but you had to ask which we only found out on our last day) The location is also great, very central. Jacuzzi was also very good, but there is a fee of €5/person for 30 minutes. The rooms though are very poor, they haven't been refurbished in 25 years and look their age. Also lots of noise from the hallway waking us up early. Was clean though.

Service was super friendly and the rooms were good. We had everything we needed. The food which was available was always aplenty and decent. There was constant free coffee which was a nice bonus. The sauna and hot tub at the roof was a really nice viewing platform to see the Northern Lights.

Service was friendly, room and bathroom were nice, warm, very clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee available during the day in the hotel’s lobby. Dinner provided by the hotel and included in the room charge included fresh and well dressed salad, soup, bread, rice and meat dishes. Nothing fancy but very good.

Overall this was a wonderful hotel, location was nice and the staff was very friendly. I found the room to be outdated but the daily meals made up for this. The rooftop jacuzzi was an additional fee but was definitely worth it, it had a great view looking out over the water

Good hotel in a fantastic location situated directly on the port in the city. Rooms basic but warm and comfortable with single beds. Wet room with the shower being amazing and powerful. Tap water safe to drink. Breakfast, evening meal, afternoon tea all included with free coffee and tea 24/7 in reception. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again. NOTE!! This is a cashless hotel. We took Norwegian NOK and didn’t spend any cash at all anywhere in Tromsø. Even taxis take card and don’t carry change.

Run down hotel. Beds comfortable Ask for kettle in your room. Food average ...some hot food at breakfast was cold...so much wastage. Coffee n hot water in refillable urns, not always hot.
