It was a nice to hear that dinner is included at the reception and we could get food right away. Afternoon cake is nice and the note next to it is sweet. Breakfast is also great. Hotel is tastefully decorated, lobby is a nice place to have a drink next to the fireplace.

Home Hotel in Grimstad is a beautiful hotel. Parking is available in the garage for 170 NOK per night. Both dinner and breakfast were served as a buffet, with a nice variety. The receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly, which I really appreciated. Our room was beautiful and clen, with a very comfortable bed. Overall, a lovely stay that I can warmly recommend.

It’s very nice hotel. Good service. Included breakfast and dinner was good, although if you are looking for more fancy meals you have to go out to city, they had buffet style food you pick up yourself, Swedish table. Rooms is Clean and spacious, kind people at reception.

Generally a stylish place, friendly service. But I booked a family room "with a view". Three meters to the wall of the next house and the neighbors' garbage wasn't my expectation of "a view". The receptionist told me that this hotel considers "a view" everything which is not facing inside the hotel.

Nice place to stay in the oldtown section of Grimstad. Good breakfast and dinner included. Parking not included but available close to the hotel. There is a 30 minute parking zone in front of the hotel so when you checkin they will direct you to the nearest pay parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff and hard working kitchen staff with a special thanks to the behind the scenes chef that prepares the evening meal.

I really appreciated Clarion because it’s in the city Center, clean rooms, helpful staff. For meals we had just a few types of food but they were delicious. Pay attention to the parking spaces - almost none available on the streets. We parked at the church - free parking between 8 PM and 9 AM.

Visited this hotel January 2023. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Reasonable price incl good breakfast, and in my opinon a unique hotel in terms of recepteion area and how "outdoor buildings / houses" have been "built together" with a fantastic design and construction,|giving me an "outdoor feeling" with a transparent roof enabling daylight to brighten up the area and at the same time having the good and warm inside temperature.

Average score should be higher. Hotel is renewed, but the biggest advantage is hotelstaff. Small parking, but you can park for only 150kr per day, while rest of city is 250-300kr. Hotel has conference rooms and good gym. Grimstad is nicer city than we thought. That was amazing stay.
