Home Inn & Suites - Swift Current

We went with family to attend the Kite Festival in Swift Current. It was our first time going to the festival. We chose Home Inn & Suites as it offered good value and had a pool and waterslides for the kids. The stay was great - we were there for two nights - ALL staff were extremely helpful. The hotel offered a treasure hunt for kids throughout the hotel - it was fun to see not only our own grandkids participating but others as well. What a wonderful idea! We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and waterslide. The pool was a teeny bit on the cool side (which is my only negative feedback) but once you got swimming you warmed up somewhat. I'm a grandparent so old and get cold easy. And when the kids want to play - you can't hang in the hot tub. : ) |Also they offered an amazing breakfast in the morning until 10am. So Delicious and another great idea for guests who stay here. If we go back to Swift Current for whatever reason - we will be staying here again! Thank-you!

We stayed August 2nd -3rd. What a great experience we had. The room was big and clean. It had a Keurig machine, refrigerator and microwave. The sheets were the nicest I've ever slept on. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient. It was very busy that weekend and the gals working kept everything for breakfast well stocked. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Hotel’s location is good, just like the nearby hotels. Early check-in was hardly possible with a payment of $70 extra !!! Our room was spacious as expected, but a minus for it was not having a ventilation in the bathroom!! The breakfast was not good, with just limited options !! The pool was nice, had a small hot tub, a shower with non-slippery ground besides the pool. The amount of chloride added to the water was considerable, causing minor burning sensation in the eyes. Overall, three star experience for a hotel of this price.

After going through 3 rooms we finally found one that only needed the vinyl bed skirts cleaned of some kind of substance before we finally moved for the last time. Rooms that we looked at had marked up walls, dirty brown stains on the shower curtains, dried sticky pop stains in the drawers, streaks on TVs and mirrors, and tub drain did not work. The beds are comfy and the waterslide, pool and hot tub are nice for the family. I hope when we check out the discount will match our disapproval. Not sure if we will stay again.

This is a very nice hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the best of any place we stayed on our vacation to Canada. The location is good, with restaurants and gas stations within a few blocks. Breakfast had a good selection, and the worker on duty kept the food stocked and fresh. The cookies given us at check-in were a nice touch as well!

We were just passing through, and needed a place to stay. Walked in & was greeted right away. Check in was easy, room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good too.

Upon arrival, our room stunk of sulfur due to a clogged drain in the sink. Once we notified the front desk, maintenance came by, ran the water, left, and then was never to be seen again. Our drain remained clogged and smelly. We notified the front desk once more and after nagging, we finally were free of the clog and stench. During our stay, the pool was quite chilly, and maintenance workers came by to test the water as we were swimming in it. Concerning. The front desk workers were extremely accommodating and sweet, we appreciate their help, as was the sole housekeeper for our entire floor.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The room was great. What we did not like was when we checked in neither girl seemed welcoming. Neither said welcome to Home Inn & Suites. Neither girl was very friendly and neither smiled at all. The girl who checked us in gave us 1 room key even though we were both standing there. I asked for another one and she got the other girl to give us one but she did it in a huffy manner. Other than that, our stay was great. Room was clean and quiet.

Great place to stay. Rooms are comfortable and we found the location was great. Close to highway but far enough not to be noisy. No problem with check in and staff was helpful and friendly. The amenities were good. Indoor pool, plug in for engine warmers and a very nice breakfast each morning. The breakfast had hot items available too. Good place to stay if traveling.
