Stayed here during an Adventure bike ride throughout the Kimberley. Booked a unpowered camp-site beneath a shady tree . Fantastic amenities, beautiful pool and bar . A great stop over 👍

Great facilities with hot showers and a wonderful swimming pool. Very well priced food and good beers on tap in the bar. Brilliant fishing tour run by Warwick to the Pentecost River. I caught a 90 cm Barra on the top of the tide. Couldn’t be happier.

We camped in the allocated camping Riverside. The view of the river and mountains was stunning. The bathrooms had hot water and well proportioned. Two recommended improvements: 1. Make the unallocated and allocated camping clearer. We arrived to someone's stuff on our site which was already small. We took half the space. When they returned they weren't too impressed with us for "taking their spot" and didn't understand where the unallocated ended and allocated began until they could see the small number on a rock in the morning. It was very stressful and took away from the experience. Apparently this is common which begs the question "why aren't there better signs"? 2. The allocated spaces are very close together with little definition between the spaces. Would recommend dividers or a bit of screening so you aren't camping on-top of others. The main area was beautiful with big trees, a big pool area, and a lovely outdoor restaurant which was great after a long drive. The drive was exciting crossing the rocky Pentecost River and heavily corrugated dirt road adding to the remote outback vibe.

We stayed in a lovely peaceful Grass Castle overlooking the river with birds frequenting. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We dined in Dusty’s which was reasonably priced and delicious. They even did a salad for me one night I felt like something light. Staff were friendly. The pool refreshing. The sunset tour was a highlight with indigenous young women leading us in knowledge and experience whilst overlooking the spectacular Country. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Thank you to the Balanggarra traditional owners & operators

From the Boab trees framing the entrance, you travel up the driveway and spot the swimming pool! There’s relief from the heat under the large ‘Dusty Bar’ and a cool drink! Sprinklers watering the green campsites and great facilities. Lovely trees and greenery. Have stayed in the air conditioned accommodation/motel rooms and they are wonderful. Insightful and educational to join the team leading the walking and/or fishing tours and for the sunset tour. What a great place to visit - Lovely team, choices for meals and facilities. It’s a real oasis of infrastructure and support and a good home-base for travel around the Gibb.

Had conflicting reports good and not so but we found it too be very good, caravan sites large enough and clean, plenty of rubbish bins and a great abolution block. Outback bar and restaurant terrific and a great pool. Staff were very good and attentive so 👍from me.

We were camping down by the river. Possibly the most beautiful ever location on the edge of the Pentecost River! We ate at the restaurant which was wonderful, with live music which was excellent. Super-friendly staff. Stayed here eight years ago - will hopefully come back for a third visit.

Restaurant was excellent and good value , staff were friendly and very good, but never stay in Caravan bay “U”. Your awning will face two unpowered bays, which in our case held at two cars per bay with another car parked across the road. This gave us 10 people at our door and an open fire directly on the edge of our awning zone filling our van with smoke and noise from drunken people till late in the night. The rest of the bays seemed ok, but be careful, some of the powered sites like ours don’t have water as stated at check in. Very expensive stay for a crap night.
