OMG! Food is sooooooo delicious! Made with love! Exemplary customer service! Love this place! I make sure to come here whenever I’m in town! Welcome H.O.M.E! I love everything on the menu! Priced good and good portions!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend. We went yesterday and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! On the first picture to the left I had the sampler with the vegan shrimp, cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce, Mac no cheese, yams, and broccoli cheese quinoa. Everything was delicious and the service was superb. The meal on the right side of the first picture has the cauliflower wings with an Asian sauce which was pretty good but I like spicy food. The sides on that one are the yams which are hands down the best and the broccoli and quinoa which was surprisingly super yummy. I was hesitant to try it but it actually turned out to be my favorite side dish. If you get a chance go try their food. You WON’T be disappointed. Also the vegan shrimp was great and you will love it if you try it. I will come back for just the entree of that with two sides.

My wife is vegan and pregnant. The hour drive is so worth it for this food! The staff is incredible

H.O.M.E. Vegan Restaurant is formerly known as The House of Mental (Eatery) and is located in the heart of Little Rock; walking distance from AR Children's Hospital. They offer private parking as well as curbside parking. The dining area is always clean and comfortable. Customer service must be a top priority for them because they greet you with a smile, a positive attitude, and perfectly seasoned vegan food. They have a hot line of sides/vegetables and a cold line for greenery/vegetables. The greenery is served beneath your main entree and is like a happy ending to your meal. The portion sizes are plentiful, and did I say, how positive the vibe is??? Every time I visit, it feels like I was just fed by someone who loves me 😋 nuff said 💯. If you want a filling meal that's more like a healthy treat, visit H.O.M.E. Vegan Restaurant and tell them I sent you.

This was my first time there but went with a friend who has been there too many times to count. THEIR FOOD IS AWESOME, large portions, and priced reasonably. The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly, and overall, the experience was AMAZING! Way past expectations and they were high already. No this is not a fake review! It really is great food! I'm a dork and forgot to take a picture of my portion.

The building Google takes you to—go into that one, that’s where this place is. I was lucky enough to be passing through Little Rock on Christmas Day today and they were open and serving food. Vegan soul food on Christmas sounded awesome to me. This was a one-woman show in the front and her smile and vibe was just really welcoming and sweet. The food was incredible, exactly what you want out of soul food, packed with spices and flavors. You get very generous portions for a fair price and without any fake meats or frozen stuff. So glad these guys are representing vegan food in lil ol’ Little Rock.

Today was my first time, now forever home. The food was amazingly delicious. The server was very warm and welcoming. She was very informative and gave samples. Her service was 5 star. I can’t wait to visit again, and share my experience with family and friends. I will see you every time I visit Little Rock.

Good vegan soul food, everything is a hit! Dressing,green beans, yams, mac no cheese, cabbage, chik'spaghetti ,califlower wings,& nachos. 10/10.

House of mental is such a hidden gem. I'm in love with this place. Been in love since 2018. Nora, the owner, is very personable and passionate about her craft! The food absolutely to die for. The best vegan soul food that I've ever had! Who needs chicken wings when you could get some fried crunchy cauli-wings! Get a mix of the BBQ and Buffalo sauce for a sweet, tangy spicy flavor! I've asked her several times what kind of BBQ sauce she uses but she won't tell me! Store bought or not, its soooo good! It the sweetness pairs perfectly with the richness of the cauliflower batter. The greens are yummy. Slightly vinegary and salty! Well balanced and harmonious with the mac and cheese! The mac and cheese is SO cheesy! Thick, scrumptious, creamy, rich and mouth watering! It's usually gone in 3-4 bites, then I'm sad. :( The black eyed peas have always been a hit as well. Always cooked nice and tender and well seasoned! All of the food is good here, even her specials (gumbo, poboys,chicken pasta) everything! The portions are big! It's enough to serve two people, or just for yourself to have for lunch and dinner! You order, get your food rather quickly and the price is justified! My #1 stop everytime I pass through Little Rock!

Amazing food. I forgot that it didn't contain meat. So delicious and flavorful which is a must. Try their food immediately.

First off the food was amazing!!! It was the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant (which I happen to be a fan of). But it was dark and felt a little dirty. I will definitely go again but I'll take it home!

The food is outstanding! Will definitely return. The restaurant was dark, dirty, hot, flys everywhere and the decor was empty liquor bottles, mismatched chairs. Definition of hole in the wall but the food was incredible.

This spot does not disappoint. If you're on the fence about trying Vegan fare, you definitely need to give them a chance! I found them while traveling from TX to the Midwest. This is my third time visiting and as usual the food is consistently OUTSTANDING! I will always go a little out of my way to support this stellar business

This place is so dang delicious! It's so rare to find many vegan places whose main stable is a vegetable! We got a little of everything to try & it was so worth it. It's true vegan soul food that doesn't break the bank. We will be back at least every other week. Get the yams.. they are divine!

Little tricky to find, but so worth it. Love trying different vegan options and this one was worth the drive! Fun atmosphere and delicious food! Huge portion sizes!

You may be thinking, vegan soul food, how does that work??? Well let me tell you, HoME brings everything they have to the table. My go to favorites are the kauli chick'un wings and the loaded nachos. I'm not sure what magic they work, but whatever it is, you do not miss any animal products at all. The wings are always crispy to perfection with your choice of dipping sauces. Go ahead and just make your order the wing plate where you get two sides. Mac No Cheese and the greens are always my go tos, but the yams, black eyed peas, and other rotating sides are all exceptional. When I say loaded nachos, I mean you can barely close the to go container. Highly recommend those if you've got some social gathering or need a quick lunch/dinner. Before you write off this as "oh it's vegan", I encourage you to give them a chance. Vegan food doesn't mean it's going to be boring, bland, or have the consistency of cardboard. HoME is anything but those, and I will continue to support the wonderful food and amazing staff in hopes they continue to thrive and grow! Thanks for doing you authentically. Bonus: the place is super affordable for the quality and quantity of your meal, seriously you can't beat the price

OMG we love this place! We were passing through town and saw this pop up on Happy Cow. We knew we had to stop once we saw the picture of southern greens! The cauliflower chicken wings with bbq were fabulous! The greens, black eyed peas, Mac n cheese, and yams are phenomenal! It's hard to find soul food without the grease and animal fats. This place is top notch, and I hope they succeed and have a food truck soon. Then I hope they franchise and become available in Dallas! they also had some beautiful jewelry selections. We found a few treasures, friendly staff, perfect lunch, and five stars!

Some of the best vegan soul food I've had and I really don't like soul food much! I'm often let down by mac and cheese, but this one was awesome! Loved the greens and the black eyed peas were to die for! The shrimp was amazing and that sauce.... **chefs kiss**! This is definitely a soul food place you need to hit up!

When I travel to Little Rock for work, I always make a point to stop at House of Mental. Their vegan mac is some of the best I have ever had. This is a must-visit for any vegan in the area!!!

The cauliflower wings are AMAZING!!! BBQ flavored is good but Buffalo is the best! I ordered nachos, yam, and wings and the wings are superior. The staff is super friendly and wait time is short. The place is a bit hard to find, just go to the back and you'll see a sign that says "vegan". Prices are really fair too! Definitely coming back!

I have ate here at least two times. Both time service fast and hot 10+10. I plan to continue eating here when I want some great soul food.

This restaurant has the best vegan soul food in AR! I ordered the yams, greens, & cauliflower wings (buffalo/asian) and everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The customer service was excellent & I waited less than 10 minutes for the food. This is a must stop when I visit Little Rock. Highly recommend! (Pics next time)
