We stayed here on the way home from a family road trip. This was the last leg of our trip (part camping trip, part hotel stay) so it was really nice to have the extra space and amenities of a suite style hotel. The layout of this hotel is very thoughtful. We stayed in a 2 queen room and I appreciated that it had extra space in the couch area for our baby’s crib. It was also nice to have a curtain in that area to make a little separate baby room/ breakfast area. There was a nightlight in the bathroom, which is such an underrated feature in hotels— especially when you’re sharing a room as a family and waking up with young kids at times. There was lots of storage space and a full sink/ kitchen area, which was great. Everything was extremely clean!! The bathroom was a nice size. I would definitely seek out this hotel again. We have two kids and this gave us some extra space and breathing room compared to a traditional hotel. Breakfast was included and they had tons of high chairs available, which was nice. They also had games and kid toys around for use. There were little phone charging stations built into the breakfast/ lobby area. Their pool was open from 10 am to 10 pm, which are pretty decent hours. My only complaint is that the pool could have been a bit warmer. I also appreciated having a first floor room, as it was easy to unload all of our family luggage. The digital key did not work for me but that wasn’t a huge deal. Check in process was smooth otherwise. I love that they have laundry right by the gym, although we didn’t end up using those amenities during this visit. The lobby was comfortable and they have a 24 hour coffee and tea area, another bonus. This location is close to several brewpubs in the area, another perk. Parking is pretty plentiful. Overall, this hotel was a winner and worked really well for a family road trip!

Google
Easy to access from the freeway. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a game cart for use in the lobby, which is a nice bonus. Lovely outdoor patios. Pool is more of a lap pool, and was a bit cold, but still nice for a dip with the kids. Would definitely stay there again

Google
Stayed at Home2 Suites in Atascadero for a couple nights and it was a great experience. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed—including a little kitchenette which was super convenient. The bed was comfy, and the space felt roomy and well laid out. Loved that they had free breakfast in the morning with decent options. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. It’s also in a good location—close to the freeway but quiet, and just a short drive to downtown Atascadero or Paso Robles. Would definitely stay again!

I had a great experience at Home2 Suites in Atascadero. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. The location was convenient for exploring the Central Coast, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Everything felt modern and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Google
Such a comfortable and convenient stay! The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. The service was excellent; staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The location was ideal—close to everything we needed but still quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Google
This Home 2 Suites was the perfect stop for us as we traveled to move our son home from college for the summer. Things we loved: - large rooms! - plenty of storage for suitcases and clothes - curtain for separating living space from bed area that can then be pushed back for a more spacious feeling - more than 2 towel hooks in the bathroom! Finally!!! - comfortable bed - huge outdoor BBQ area near the pool - lots of outdoor seating arrangements - QUIET location! - great breakfast buffet - wonderful front desk attendants - they smoked, were kind and helpful and made us feel very welcomed! Things I would change if I could: - AC rattled extra loudly (Rm 308) a lot through the night and since it was right next to the bed it would wake me up every time.

Google
Was visiting some family and stayed the night here with my family. We chose this hotel because it was close by where we visited and because it was a new hotel and the prices were good. I gave a 3 star for location because there was nothing by it other than a taco bell. I'm sure once they are done building everything around the area, it will be much better with more food choices around and gas station. Other than that, the freeway is right there. The rooms are really big and nice. With kitchen, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, paper towels. 2 queen beds, pullout couch, counter and table, and still plenty of room. The shower and bathroom were really nice as well. Customer Service was great and friendly. Breakfast was included. Will stay here again next visit.

Google
Clean, modern hotel, reasonably priced. Pleasant low-chlorine pool long enough to swim laps in. Decent breakfast with two tvs in the lounge: the one on the right tuned to Fake Fox News, the one on the left tuned to CNN for balance. Not much going on in Atascadero on a Thursday evening so you might consider heading up the freeway a few miles to Tin City for dinner.

Yelp
My family & I enjoyed our stay here while on the road to So Cal. Imho A Fantastic Property & impressed by The Hilton Quality & Standards I perceived all through the property & in the detail. I was even impressed by The Elegance & Simplicity of The Quality of The Breakfast made available to All Guests. The Warmth we felt as a Family is perceptible!

Milena H.

Yelp
The hotel is beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and very comfortable, breakfast choices to please everyone. A lot of our girls went swimming and complimented on cleanliness and warmth of the lap pool. Our overall stay was fantastic. I would like to compliment Deven and Joanna at the front desk for their professional attitude and care; as well as the lady who was taking care of the breakfast area for keeping it spotless and replenished with fresh food.

Yelp
I've stayed at Marriott, Sycamore Hotel, and Air B&B locations in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo area many times in the past. I decided to try this newly built hotel in July 2023 and was very happy with my stay of 5 nights. PROs: Hygiene-this location is among the cleanest. I sanitized and wiped all hard surface including floor. I didn't find residue or hair or leftover crumbs. Safety-small town of Atascadero is safe and quiet but with essentials. Location-this place is 5 minutes from Paso Robles wineries, 20 minutes from SLO and Morro Bay, 30 minutes from Cambria/ south entrance of Big Sur, and 30 minutes from Montana De Oro/Avila Beach. Noise-walls are thin but I noticed Hilton had paid attention to details such as seal at bottom of entrance door. This prevents common problems of noise coming from hallway. Overall, it's quieter than most chain hotels I've stayed at. Per friendliness- a prerequisite and a reason why Hilton and Marriott hotels are on my list. CONS: Stove-you'll need to ask front desk if you plan on cooking breakfast or meals. There is a microwave but no stove. This is not an issue if you plan on having the free breakfast the hotel offers or eat out most of time. The manager was insightful in providing tips on good restaurants, wineries, bakeries etc. in the area during my stay. He was super helpful and found my cat hiding inside the sofa on the day of my departure. I'd highly recommend this hotel if cleanliness is your priority. It's at a centralized location if you are visiting SLO area.

Yelp
Not sure why the self-entitled ax grinders are out to lambaste this hotel... Especially disappointed when fellow Yelp Elites act like entitled you-know-whats and roast a business. I hate to start reviews like this, but sometimes it's necessary. I'm a Yelp Elite for 10 years and I take my responsibility seriously, like Spiderman; "With great power comes great responsibility" Enough of that... My Review: Nice new property (opened in 2020?). Located just off US 101 in an easy access location near a grimy gas station/7-11 and a strip mall with Grocery Outlet. Taco Bell coming soon - that's a win (especially if you are in town for a farting competition!) Anyhow, the property... Four story building, well-planned and no detail left out. User friendly spot to off-load/load - yes. Lobby with auto doors and luggage carts - yes Easy fly-by check-in counter - yes Even easier Hilton app with digital key notifying me hours prior to check-in time that my room was ready - YES! Fast and spacious elevators - yes Doggie area - yes Outdoor seating/relaxing area (I think I spotted a grill too!) - yes But wait, there's more! Well-appointed gym Lobby snack & drink selection (not free) Conference room (I think there's wine tasting in the afternoon/evening) Well-lit parking area Day/night coffee Lobby TV Chairs, tables, padded seats Local newspapers, free maps and "things-to-do" literature Breakfast! YES! Breakfast included. Waffles, eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt, juices, oatmeal, etc. The rooms are great! Well thought out and designed to maximize the space - especially if you have to stay a while. Some tool described it like a hospital room, nope I didn't get that vibe at all. Nice to have a kitchenette with basics as well as places to organize your things in the room and bathroom. The design team did a great job squeezing in lots of details for micro-living as well as giving the place a modern look. And finally, I am a Hilton rewards member and was able to use points to lower the rate, as well as check in early with digital key access. I was pleased with all that - and was greeted pleasantly by all the staff in the hotel, no attitudes or B.S. Overall, it's a nice place for what it is, especially located in a somewhat rural area. It's not The Four Seasons, however it's a new, clean, modern, well-appointed hotel, well-run by an accommodating and friendly staff. 5 stars

Yelp
OMG the rooms are HUGE! We had a King bed room and there was more than enough space for me, the spouse and the kid. With the pull-out, we could've fit another 2 people comfortably. There is plenty of counter space and there is an additional roll-out table. The kitchenette is adequate and they provide a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and micowave. I love this place. I liked it even more than the Hampton Inn we stayed at earlier in the week. Plenty of free parking and breakfast too! My only complaint is that the room I selected for online check-in was not ready when I arrived but they were able to give me the same class of room and immediately so all was well.

Alex C.

Yelp
Checked in very late, Alex offered us a sincere and warm welcome after I walked in to the hotel. Room is clean and new, breakfast and the staff are wonderful. The free parking is always a plus for us. We will be back!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at Home2 Suites. The room was much larger than we expected. Everything was clean and it was good to have a kitchen sink for washing the baby's dishes. I liked the layout of the kitchen then sitting area then bed. A family of 4 would be comfortable in this room. The king bed was spacious for all three of us. The couch in the seating area was a good high chair for our son. The gym was clean and impressive for this type of hotel. There were free weights, cable machine, elliptical machine, runner, and a peloton bike. Parking was easy as there are many spaces around the hotel. I would stay here again if we visit Paso Robles again.

Yelp
As a person who has stayed here for two consecutive months I can only say I've ran into countless issues with this place. Not only are the receptionist at the front desk unfriendly they also have mean scowls on their face as you enjoy their lobby. When we finished our stay there was unexplainable charges that were charged onto our card and our rates where increase towards the end of our stay when asked what these chargers were they could not answer us. Only good thing about the place is it was close to work and it's pet friendly but wouldn't recommend for longer than a week

Lenka B.

Yelp
What a great place! We stayed two nights with 15 friends. We all loved it! The hotel is new, very clean and offers very comfortable rooms with comfortable beds, nice kitchenette, living area and nice bathroom. The receptionist was amazing, very helpful and patient. The manager came by when we were having our breakfast and asked how we liked our stay, if we needed anything. We felt like home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
google avatar

Larry L.

Yelp
This area is still developing and there will be a grocery store across the street. If you need to stay a day or 2 I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Very clean and has all the amenities for a family getaway. There is EV charging available outside but it's only level 1. An exit or two away from Paso Robles but I don't mind at all.

Yelp
Don't let the "smoke-free" fool you. The security guy vapes at night, and the manager smokes during the day. Near the front entrance. The smell of cigarette smoke lingering inside between the two double doors is awful. New hotel. Open since June 2020. Large and updated rooms. Good service from the front desk. Ten minutes from Paso Robles, which is a very cool town in wine country. The downsides were that the security guy was vaping near the front entrance and the manager was smoking near the front entrance.

Yelp
Nice new hotel with spacious rooms and some innovative designs. We stayed 3 days over the Xmas - new year period and enjoyed it. We had a two-queen-bed room with views of the mountains. The room was well equipped with tons of storage, a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and utensils), a nice / super clean bathroom, and a sitting area with a sofa and table. There's also a work area with a good quality ergonomic chair. Of the many Hilton brand hotels we've stayed in, this one has the most spacious room and the best furnishings. Yet the price level is lower than many of the other brands. This makes it a great value for travel under a budget!! The only drawback is some rooms facing the freeway can be noisy at night as the traffic on 101 doesn't quite die down at night! Other than that, it was almost perfect! ;)

Philip M.

Yelp
New dogs friendly suits with zero patch of green. Plenty of outdoor seatings for people. They should add some fake lawn for the dogs and doggies poop bag.
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
EXTREMELY overpriced for what the rooms and the hotel are. This is a franchised hotel, so don't expect to have Hilton Honors status to mean anything here. The person that came in for the night shift and the morning shift were friendly but the person that "helped us" at check in needs some training. When we checked in, I asked for the top floor as I didn't want to be woken up at the crack of dawn (more in this later). We were moved from the second floor to the third floor... the hotel has four levels, so that did absolutely nothing for me but waste 10 minutes of time at checkin. As I said, Hilton Honors status means nothing here as I am at the top tier Diamond level. But I digress. It's a newer construction hotel and the hotel is clean. However, when I walked into the room, I immediately felt like so was in a mashup of an upgraded MicroTel Hotel room and a Hospital room. Notes about the room: * There is a draw curtain in the middle of the room between the sofa and bed. * Pocket sliding doors without latches are used for the bathroom. * The floor feels like a thin rug over concrete. They are not insulated and you can hear people walking on the upper floor. * The windows are thin and if you are on the side of the tiny pool you can hear people at the pool talking, even from a higher floor. * The walls are thin and you can hear people next to you. At 5:28AM we were woken up from the people above us dropping things on the floor and rolling around luggage. You can also hear the activities in the rooms next door, people hanging up clothes, etc. So when I say this, I'm not exaggerating about the noise.

Yelp
This place is incredible! It makes me sad to see that it only has 4 stars because in my opinion in no way does it deserve that. First off the manager Kevin is absolutely wonderful. He's funny and friendly and goes completely out of his way to accommodate your needs. He actually goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs! He's also never in a rush and really listens, and..... looks you in the eye when he's talking to you. You never feel like an intrusion to him, more like a friend. He truly is wonderful. This place definitely is named correctly because it surely feels like home. My son and I have just come back from staying 3 nights there and we were soooooooooooo sad to leave. :( Also an added bonus is that the rooms are huge! You never feel cramped, and that's so nice compared to other hotels at the same level. Also the pool is nicely heated, I mean it's truly comfortable. I hate the cold and I had a wonderful swim in an over 80 degree pool when the weather was only about 60. This hotel is also very clean. I can't recommend it enough. :)

Yelp
This place is da bomb.com! Great view! Great customer service! Great breakfast! They got croissant and biscuit w sausages! The rooms are immaculate! The people here are so pretty! I love it! Tiny cozy little family suite! Im GucciStefan and I approved this place! While you suite here you should try out blufftrail! Its da best!

Yelp
Awesome place! The included breakfast had a great variety, the rooms are clean and come with basically an entire kitchen (save the stove). Dog friendly and spacious rooms. Will definitely come back!
google avatar

D L.

Yelp
Stayed here several times. The staff were extremely pleasant and always said hello. Room and pool were clean as well as the common areas. Breakfast was decent with a variety but fruits were limited. It got packed quickly and the breakfast attendant had a look on her face like she was working off community service. We like that it's dog friendly but on this Labor Day Weekend there was a family BBQ-ing at their outdoor grills with a huge unfixed PitBull running around off-leash in the pool and BBQ areas. There was also some guy (possibly not a guest) trolling for women at the pool with no manners. Gross Overall this is a good place to stay if the price is not too jacked up for your visit. Not personal but my honest experience.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Very friendly and accommodating Clean and well equipped Plenty of parking Free and good breakfast I would definitely will come back here again if i go to Pismo.

Gayla S.

Yelp
Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Looked up the reviews and saw between 4.3 - 4.7. So, I thought this is a good place. Turns out, they are Very very accommodating. We are here, because my Partner has a seminar going on down the road (5 minutes). The suite itself, is Gorgeous!!! It has everything. Very modernized. A little kitchenette with a microwave, dishes, dishwasher; Complete shower; free breakfast; and a nice pool. Even a laundry area. I asked them (I was nervous), if I could hang out in the lobby area until my Partner is done with his seminar. They were more than happy to allow me to stay... Even after I checked out on time. We will come back to Home 2suites by Hilton. You guys are awesomeness !!
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Its pricey and the photos when reserving are deceiving. (That's why I took off a star) But it's so clean and comfortable I would definitely come back. The afternoon staff that checked us in was very polite and friendly. I am very particular when It comes to hotels , which is why I prefer to pay a bit more. But the pictures showed the rooms a bit bigger. As a family of 4 (including Two teenagers) it intrigued me to have the space. But walking in it was smaller than anticipated. Its not a full kitchen as stated, it has everything except a way to cook food. Makes the spatulas useless to be honest. All in all, i would certainly come back.

Yelp
This hotel was clean and modern with a spacious lobby and seating area. Check-in was painless. All the people working were very friendly and more than helpful - able to answer questions about dining in the area or what wineries they'd recommend. Another plus was that the elevator was quick and parking was convenient. I hate it when elevators are slow and you have to wait multiple times to social distance and get up to your room. The room was large and had everything from a couch, a desk area, a pull out table and small kitchenette. There was also a curtain to separate the living area (tv and couch) with bed area. We used the coffee maker, toaster and refrigerator, but you can easily cook as they provide utensils and basic cookware. You can also ask the front desk for an electric burner. This would be a great hotel for those traveling for work or need a long term stay. Housekeeping only cleans for long stays or if you request it. We had no issues getting extra tea/coffee and soap from the front desk. The only negative was that the room was incredibly cold. Even with the heater on to max 80 degrees, there was cold air coming in from the vents in the bathroom. It was freezing!!! I felt like I was camping outdoors. As other said, you get a to-go bag with forgettable items for breakfast. In non-COVID times, they would probably serve a delicious hot breakfast as their dining area is set up for buffet style eating. For now, I'd recommend going across the street to the grocery outlet place and getting some bagels and snacks. Also a quick drive to downtown dining or wineries in Paso Robles. Even though the room was so cold, this was a good find in Atascadero and if you have Hilton points, you can use them here!

Jennifer T.

Yelp
This is our second stay here. The staff is so friendly and the rooms and other areas are clean. They have a nice size pool which I'm always happy when the pool is nice. There is a area where you can grill and a cool fire pit area. It's so close to the beach as well as lots of great tasting rooms.

Robert A.

Yelp
Although the hotel was built two years ago, it looks brand new! Awesome rooms and staff. The breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommend this hotel for their cleanliness and upkeep. The location is great as well if you are visiting the central coast/wine country.

Yelp
Great hotel Very clean, comfortable. Would stay again when in the area. Nice location right off the highway. Stores and restaurants nearby.

Yelp
One of the best places I have ever stayed! Cristina at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I had people upstairs running back and forth so it was very noisy. I asked to be moved and she gave me another room away from the highest noise as well. Very clean, very clean smelling, no dust and spacious!! The entrance and hotel was modern. If you are traveling to SF and in rt 101 stop here!! You won't be disappointed. The breakfast included water bottles but packed box had boiled eggs and bagel all of which was prepackaged. Not a great breakfast!... still worth 5 star review Cristina was amazing!

Yelp
I got 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. Our rooms were very clean. Our tvs said hello Jessica on the screen when I arrived, such a nice touch. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was promptly greeted and a very quick and smooth check in. Once in our rooms our tv had iheart radio station so we could listen to music while getting ready to go out. Our rooms had large floor to ceiling mirrors perfect for getting ready, gotta make sure we look good before heading out. After going out we brought back in-n-out and enjoyed it in the common area. The next morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed the make your own waffles station. We feasted on eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, and grits with lots of fun topping choices. For a free breakfast they have something for everyone! Great place to stay. It was clean, looks brand new, the food was yummy. I highly recommend if your in the area, the price was right, so stay here!!!

Yelp
Beautiful new hotel and wonderful staff! Easy to find, convenient parking and super clean property inside and out. Home2 Suites has a awesome kitchen that includes your basic kitchen necessities (utensils, plates, cups), refrigerator and dish washer. I'm always a fan of the "living area" portion of the room. Covid places it's challenges everywhere, especially hotels. Even with the updated changes and reduced services due to covid, the hotel operation was flawless. My note to travelers: Hotels have little to no occupancy to fill their rooms, meaning no revenue. When there is no revenue, you can't fully staff your hotel. When you ask for an item via front desk, it's likely that same front desk agent who checked you in that is delivering it to your room. The same one who is working the desk, answering calls, stocking the lobby fridge. Needless to say, likely overworked. Be kind and be patient. It may be a while before hotels are back into full swing. Feel good about giving business to a hotel in need and enjoy your stay!
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Yes, I will agree with the first review about the decor. The carpet is unique, and there are sudden pops of color, but I don't really mind. What concerns me the most, since we are trying to stay safe from COVID are the dishes in the kitchen. After seeing a very dirty glass, and deciding to wash it to see if it was stained or dirty, I learned that it was in fact not washed. I washed it the best I could, but the rag would not get in deep enough to clean the narrow sides of the bottoms of the glass. But it did look better after i washed it. After that, I decided to wash any dish BEFORE I used them. The silverware looked alittle spotty too and the plates. So I don't know if the housekeeper has to wash them if they get left by the guest or what, but I know those dishes weren't very clean. Even if COVID wasn't going on, I'd probably wash them before I used them anyways, because I don't know how well they've been cleaned. The pool was okay. I don't know if it's heated, as it felt cold when we went in. I almost didn't go in, because it was cold. I really wish they had a hot tub though. But the area is nice. I do like the fact that half the length of the pool stays 3 feet deep. It's great for kids who can touch the ground and not get scared the floor is going to drop. The breakfast was not really a breakfast. I received a banana flavored muffin, TWO of the same breakfast bars (strawberry flavored) and 1 bottled water. That's it! My son received a blueberry muffin, and TWO of the same breakfast bars (blueberry flavored) and 1 water bottle. Overall, I might stay here again. I love the kitchen aspect of it, but the cold pool and no hot tub kinda makes it a toss up. They do have a gym that you can see through at the pool, but that was closed.

Yelp
Such a beautiful property! So clean and all staff were so welcoming! Thank you for your hospitality!

Yelp
When looking for places to stay for my family, found this hotel. The pictures and descriptions was exactly what I was looking for. Traveling with a family of 4 can get expensive so we always look for a hotel with free breakfast, cuts down on cost and very convenient. Upon checking in the did not disclose that they weren't serving a hot breakfast, looks like they expect guests to read the signs on the tables which I did not otherwise I would have prepared for the next morning and bought food from the local store to make it myself. I also asked the front counter what time they were serving breakfast and she stayed 6-10am and did not mention it was not open and they were actually to go Boxes with nothing to write home about. Hard boiled eggs, very bland and cardboard bagels and lean fit yogurt. Coffee not even available unless u make it in your room. We had to drive to a local McDonald's and ended up spending $50 for breakfast. They really need to update their website to inform guests. As far as comfort, they really need to invest on decent pillows. We woke up with neck pain. Pillows are balled up. We were hoping for a good night sleep but that didn't happen. Make sure you bring your pillows from home and extra blankets if you get cold easily. Even with air off rooms are cold. Update* upon checking out we didn't have a great experience. Some staff are in the wrong industry and should not be in hospitality. The women that helped us was very rude, short and seemed to be bothered to be working there. Not one smile and just seemed annoyed the entire encounter. Be careful on final total as they tried to charge us $100 more. They were trying to add additional tax which was already on final bill. The only plus is rooms are spacious, and very clean hotel. I will stay here again just will be more prepared and hopefully will encounter friendlier staff.

Robert F.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous especially the front desk and Manager Kevin, we have been with Hilton since 1995. One of the best so far. The front desk went way beyond to satisfy our needs, and on a Friday. We will ALWAYS stay here when we visit the coast.

Yelp
The hotel is clean and new construction with good amenities. Stayed on the 2nd floor next to the freeway. On my next visit I'll ask to stay far from the freeway cause you can hear it all night long. Otherwise breakfast was great, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, hard eggs, etc. standard items you find at any other hotel. Pool was cold , maybe heater was broken. Workers was nice.

Yelp
Who ever runs this hotel needs training. For almost $600 for 2 nights our room was dirty from previous guest and they charged $600 twice. Been 5 days and no refund on second charge. Thanks Hilton for making my children and I eat top ramen till you refund me. Assholes

Yelp
We have stayed here for an extended stay while awaiting the close of escrow on our new home. During our entire stay Lori E. (General Manager), Corina K (Sales Manager), Lindsay O (Assistant Manager), and front desk agents Lori C, Cristina P, Estefania B, Carlos B, and Heather B provided extraordinary customer service and were all very friendly. The house keepers all did a great job cleaning, especially during this time of covid and the maintenance man Alfredo P was on top of his game. I would recommend to anyone traveling through this area to stay at this wonderful hotel, or if you are in the area visiting family, wine tasting, or staying for an extended vacation you cannot go wrong staying here. I would give all of the staff a higher rating then five stars but 5 stars is the most I can give them. This hotel is very safe, full of amenities, and in a great location and a short drive to restaurants, Atascadero Lake, local wineries, and breweries in the area. Enjoy your stay. Thank you again for making our stay so comfortable and safe and I commend all the staff on a job so very well done. Matt Easterbrook (Atascadero)

Yelp
I frequent Hilton priorities and, in particular, Home2 Suites. Pros - Thoughtful, friendly and accommodating staff (particularly GM Ms. Lori). Brand new hotel. Very bright and cheery. We'll laid out and appointed rooms as is common with H2Ss. Decent shower water pressure. Ample free parking. Complimentary box breakfast. Window opens slightly for fresh air. Close to highway to tootle around. Laundry available. Nice lobby and outdoor seating with fire pit. Grills available. Cons - No leg shaving ledge. Loud highway noise. Opened approx. 4/3/21 and the date of this review is 4/17/21 (as per the posted elevator permits) yet already showing room wear and tear. I hope they amp up the maintenance & cleaning. Gym not open. Pool only open 1 hour at a time.

Yelp
Great place to stay! I live 3 hours away, received a phone call at 11pm that my dad had a stroke and was going to ER @ the hospital in Templeton. I quickly searched my phone app and chose this Home2 before heading out for Atascadero. I arrived at 4am and checked in to the hotel before going to the hospital. The front desk staff was very efficient and helpful- including the security guard making rounds in the parking lot! I came back a few hours later for breakfast and a couple hours sleep. Breakfast was tasty with several hot selections beyond just the choices you would generally expect. That evening, back from the hospital again, I stopped in the lobby to grab chamomile tea for my wife but did not see any packets of that flavor. Kevin, the Asst. Manager, took time to search through all of their backup stock until he found chamomile packets, then proceeded to ask about our stay, even offering to personally help with anything further that we might need to make our stay the best. It's obvious the management and rest of the staff cares about how their guests feel! Truly a great home-away-from-home, and we definitely plan to stay here again on future visits to Pismo Beach and the surrounding area!

Yelp
My family and I needed just one night on our way home to have a place to rest our heads so we chose this hotel because we have stayed at many of the same in other cities. When I booked the room I thought that I included that we had a dog because we had checked off the box that stated pet friendly. When we arrived around 9:30 PM to check in they let me know that the pet fee was an additional $75. My jaw dropped to the floor but at that point there was nothing I could do. The nice lady at the register said to see if I could talk to one of the managers in the morning and see what they could do. To be honest, I would not stay somewhere for a $75 pet fee for just one night. That's too expensive. BUT, morning came, and I found Kevin. Kevin was so nice and understanding, he made a funny joke about only charging people pet fees at exactly 9:30pm. We both laughed. He explained their policy for a future knowledge, and kindly waived the $75 fee for this one time. We were extremely grateful and I am happy to report that this is a great place to stay, very clean facilities and very nice staff which I feel should be recognized! The only negative about this hotel is that they do not have a Jacuzzi like other home to suites that we've stayed in but other than that we had a wonderful experience and the rooms were some of the nicest that we've ever stayed in!

Yelp
This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are very large, have anything you could possibly need, are super clean and incredibly comfortable. They provide and amazing free breakfast the lobby bathrooms are very nice. The staff are kind and attentive. I can't emphasize enough what a great place to stay this was.

Yelp
Home2 Suites was a nice stay after a few days in a tent. The rooms A/C and heater works really well and even though it was next to the highway I didn't have any issues with sound creeping in. From the day I was there they felt very Covid safe. They had reservations for the pool and work out room and when we were leaving we were told room maintenance would take care of the cleaning of dishes. Even though they are being safe by not having buffets, the Hilton breakfast has always been amazing for me. However the new go to is a grab bag that had one orange, nutrigrain bar, and a water. If they would have had a hot meal that would have been great.

Yelp
Had a little weekend getaway to Morro bay and Paso Robles for the field of lights and decided to stay here. The hotel is right off the freeway so its easy to find. Its a relative brand new hotel so everything looked nice and clean. We stayed in a king size studio with complete kitchen which was really nice and convenient. Covid precautions were enforced so we felt safe. Staff was nice and check in was easy. They even allowed an early check-in free of charge. My only complaints were the pillows. They were horrendous. No neck support at all and completely flat.. Also when the heater kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine. It literally sounded like we were sleeping in a garage with the motor going. It was so loud and kept waking us up. We didn't get any good sleep at all. If you're going to stay here bring your own pillow and don't turn on the heat!

Yelp
New Brand name under the Hilton Umbrella, its my first to checkin and I'm fairly impress with the clean Rooms , hope they maintain it as is. Since its Covid-19 season they only provide to go bag consist of a water bottle, a fruit bar and a orange. But I believe they serve free hot breakfast on a real world setting. The only thing that threw me off being a Gold Hilton Honor, Staff lacks enthusiasm in what they are doing being its called " Costumer Service" In Hilton lingo "SALT". Other than that my stay was pleasant and don't mind coming back when I'm in the area .

Yelp
We were out into a room much smaller than the one we requested. When asked about it we were told they over booked and that's all they could do unless we wanted to take the only handicap accessible room away from someone who may need it. The staff was not helpful or knowledgeable about the hotel accommodation. There was a light blinking in our room all night and the air conditioning unit sounded like a plane taking off. We chose not to eat the complimentary breakfast due to the very limited less than to be desired offerings.

Yelp
We own a home down the street from this place and were hoping to stay somewhere cheap and easy while we were getting mold removed from our home. Booked online and then received a call that they won't be accommodating us because we lived locally and in order to get our money back we would have to call the booking company personally. WHAT!?

Yelp
So clean and I personally like the decor. The bedding was also very comfortable. The king suite is a wonderful size that I think would be comfortable for a longer stay. I also appreciate the "keyless" entry option. Being able to check in on your phone, skip the front desk, and use that to get into your room was super handy and convenient! It's a trend I hope catches on with other hotels outside Hilton's.

Yelp
We came in from out of town and stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The place was extremely clean and the staff was professional, The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel! Incredible selection and delicious, high quality food. We also had an incident where we left a personal belonging in the gym. General manager, Kevin, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in getting it back to us. His professional attitude and willingness to assist us in these process was 10/10. Thank you Home2Suites and Kevin!

Yelp
Really enjoyed our room. Full kitchen with everything you would need for a long stay. The decor was very cool and modern. The sheets and towels were quality. The bed was comfortable. Wish I could have stayed for more than one night. Would be great for families!

Yelp
We stayed here for July 4th weekend. I read the reviews and was hesitant at first but honestly am glad I went through with it. We were accommodated with early check in, I love that I was able to pick my own room and the digital key option. Both Hilton and Marriott offers that, super convenient. We didn't do the breakfast thing but they did offer the Covid safe option. The decor obviously doesn't go well together but it's a hotel, I'm not living there or anything but the beds were comfortable and the room came with a cute little kitchen set up equipped with a decent sized fridge and even a dish washer. Overall I enjoyed my stay, the town could use a little bit better food options but it was nice to be within 30 minutes from the coast.
