We stayed overnight after going to LegoLand KC with our 4 yr old. The room was perfect, and we all slept very well. Our daughter loved the pull out couch, and we all commented on the soft sheets. The indoor pool, while small, was perfect for an evening swim, especially because no one else was using it. The complementary breakfast buffet was like most, had a good variety, and the seating area was nice, clean, and plenty of room for everyone. Also, the hotel is a nice walk to crown center, and we got to walk through the skywalk, which was fun!

We stayed for a doctor’s appointment just down the street at Mercy. Saw some comments about homeless people around the hotel, and they are accurate. I wouldn’t say it’s a problem the hotel can do anything about. It wasn’t a problem for us, but people should be aware of the situation. Parking seemed as secure as it could be for a downtown area. Driving in and out wasn’t difficult. Several restaurants within easy walking distance, and other than the homeless guy shouting at the sky, it was safe. Rooms were as expected, breakfast was good enough for what we expect. Overall, I’d definitely recommend if you need to stay near downtown.

Pretty modern and clean - both the rooms and the hotel in general. The rooms were HUGE - love that they had a curtain in the middle of the room to help partition the room into more private sections. The kitchen was simple. Nice for heating up a simple meal. Super convenient location to attractions, restaurants and streetcar. Free breakfast was standard - nothing to write home about. Would come back here again.

Google
Rooms not very clean. There was a lot of hair in the shower and bathroom. Though we didn't need much service, the one time I called to ask a question I was offered a terse, unhelpful response. The gym was nice and the free breakfast was decent.

Google
Nice hotel but room for improvement. The elliptical and stationary bicycle were broken. The breakfast food is great but the service is by an older lady who was less than friendly. The pool is very small and cold. 🥶 Entry is on the first level and you have to go up for the lobby. Rooms are clean but bathrooms need some upgrade. Walls are SUPER THIN. I could hear everything next door including a barking dog. 🐶

Google
The concept of this hotel is cool. it feels more like a condo with kitchenette, which could work well for long stays or families. The location is super convenient, right in Downtown KC and close to the Streetcar (which is free). However, noise was a big issue for us. Our room faced the Streetcar tracks, and we could hear it every time it stopped, even early in the morning. Add street noise, barking dogs, and hallway sounds, and it made sleeping hard. Also, the room had a strong cooking oil smell, probably from the in-room kitchenette, which lingered. Check-in was awkward too. the front desk didn’t properly read my full name (I have two last names) and told me I didn’t have a reservation. Clean room, great location, but I wouldn’t stay again for a short leisure trip. Better suited for specific travel needs.

Had a great experience staying here! The location was perfect and close to all of the major attractions in Kansas City and was also close to a streetcar stop so I was able to leave my car at the hotel and use the streetcar to get around the downtown area. Having free parking for guests was great and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and kitchenette. And the price was very reasonable compared to other hotels I looked at in the area. I would definitely stay here again when in Kansas City!

Google
Good hotel overall but sketchy area with homeless after dark and early in morning - watch your surroundings. The room was clean but had a musty smell, likely from the A/C. Great location within walking distance to Union Station and the free KC Streetcar. However, be warned: Downtown Kansas City has a serious homeless issue and high crime, especially after dark and early in the morning. The problem is bad enough that the hotel keeps its front doors locked at all times—you have to use a digital key or intercom to get in. Road noise on weekends and activity around the building made the area feel unsafe during those hours. Breakfast was decent, and the staff was helpful, but the surrounding environment may be a concern depending on your comfort level. Watch your surroundings and stay alert.

Yelp
We had a nice experience at Home2 Suites Downtown Kansas City. We stay at many Home2 Suites when traveling and this one although older is very nice in my opinion. We pulled directly into the garage which is under the hotel. There is a door to the hotel in the garage and a doorbell where the staff can buzz you in to a secure elevator lobby. Th elevator will bring you up to check-in desk which is modern and spacious. The front desk attendant was very professional and efficient. Our room was spacious, included a couch, desk, closet, kitchenette with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, full refrigerator, stovetop and coffeemaker. The bathroom was clean and was stocked well. Most importantly the bed and pillows were very comfortable! The hotel does allow pets so we did have a few on our floor and we could hear them while walking down the hallway but not once we closed the door to our room. In the morning they provide a free breakfast in the lobby with a nice dining area. It's premade eggs, sausage, breads, etc. Breakfast is decent. The lobby also has a nice lounge/work area. We were not there long enough to check out the gym, pool or other amenities so I cannot comment on those items but from our experience, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is also located in a great spot to walk to restaurants in the freight district and several other restaurants and bars from there.

Yelp
Unusable Internet speed. If you're planning on doing any business, you can't at 1.8 Mbps. (see photo) The breakfast is inedible slop you check in and there's a and an unpleasant guy at the front desk that tells you "absolutely no children under 18 allowed unaccompanied anywhere in the hotel". He felt the need to reiterate that as well as point to the posted sign. My daughter and I looked at each other, knowing yeah, you can get bent if you think that's going to happen. Well, it's a soccer weekend and the place is full of 15,16 and 17-year-olds. if this was a policy, it should be stated before you check in. We ignored it. regarding the Internet speed, the lady at the front desk was apathetic and said she would tell her manager. Summation: horrible service, and apathy

Yelp
Super nice staff, clean rooms and dining area. Front desk was super nice and accommodating to later check out times. Would stay here again. Only recommendation is making it more clear where the entrance is as it's kind of hidden and didn't know we needed to press a button to be let in and know to go up to the second floor to check in.

Yelp
We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday, and housekeeping did not service our room once during our stay. No bed made. No clean towels. No trash emptied. Also our bathroom door was broken/off the track and would not slide closed so it stayed wide open the whole time we were there. We mentioned it to the front desk and nothing was done. Good location, but not a great stay.

Yelp
Place is older and rather run down but very comfortable. Rooms are large and clean and the free breakfast is top notch.

Yelp
I had a terrible stay at this location. The staff were perfectly lovely and I enjoyed every moment I had to speak with them, but my bathroom door locked me into the bathroom for almost 30 minutes and there was no way for me to unlock it. I had to call a front desk agent to get me out and it was hard to keep calm because I was so panicked. Every offering that I paid for was chaos except service. The parking at this location is terrible, you have to buzz the front desk in order to check in, there's road work being done on Main Street that blocks the way to get to the parking lot, so you have to drive around which adds 7 minutes to your drive time, and the breakfast is adequate to say the least. Bed was nice and housekeeping was incredible, but everything other than baseline was bad.

Yelp
Great hotel, and very nice staff. I came in town to do some resilience training for some of the schools in the North Kansas City School District. I am very happy I stayed at this hotel.

Yelp
Location, breakfast and homely kitchen room set up. Walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. Also a rail drives right in front of it. It's a Hilton, so friendly professional staff and bright interior design. They have an ultra mini mart with drinks alcohol and food that you can bring up and pop into the microwave in your room. Breakfast looked great, but as usual I slept through that. They have a reasonable and clean washing machine and dryer $0.75 each per load. It's where the exercise equipment is and I ALMOST wanted to do some reps because the equipment there looks very clean. There also is a mini indoor pool.

Yelp
We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it! It's a little confusing when you first get there, but the lobby is on the second level. Check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious, had a full kitchenette, and everything was super clean. The shower was a good size and everything in the bathroom was well stocked. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of options for everyone. It was a good location for walking in any direction, but you can take the KC streetcar nearby as well. We were able to do late check out and leave around 1 as we had a flight out in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
If I ever return to Kansas City, I can assure this won't be the hotel. My room is near some sort of a "railway system" so I hear the train car going all night long. The walls are paper thin, and you hear stomping. The hallways absolutely reek of marijuana smell. The gym is decent , has all the equipment one would need for a workout. I was not offered my "Hilton honors" welcome including the perks of water and snacks... had to ask for it and was only given water bottles. Oh well.

Pat S.

Yelp
I LOVE staying at this hotel when I come to town for business . Mobile check in, mobile key that works parking lot and can go straight to the room. My only issue is: The bathroom pocket doors. DO NOT close them. There's no "unlock" mechanism on them, for sure in room 214. And I got locked in, did not have my cell. Fortunately after my minute of panic looking for things in my toiletries bag buck nekkid that weren't working. I bent down and grabbed rhe bottom of the door and pulled towards me. There's a gap between door and floor that allowed me to do this. I then worked my hands up side of door between door and wall to get as close to the middle as possible and then pulled hard to open. It worked. Went to the front desk and he said that it's a known issue that's te working on. And I asked why there aren't any signs or remove locks and he didn't have an answer. When I finally got our, I observed a gouge in the outside of door where someone else had to get someone out. I travel solo for work and always put do not distrust sign on door. I would have been in there for about 30 hours before it was my check out time and housekeeping would have come in to clean the room for next guest. I will continue to stay at this property but everyone needs to know about those doors. I plan to write management about it even though the e front desk clerk submitted a work order which didn't get done while there. This could be very problematic for someone whose elderly or on medication and doesn't have the ability to physically get themselves out.

Yelp
Comfortable and welcoming hotel in downtown Kansas City. Easy access of I-35 with plenty of parking, a nice lobby and even a fire pit out front. Rooms are nice, clean, spacious. Breakfast offerings quite good. Would stay again when in area.

Yelp
Finding the lobby takes patience and time, it is on the second floor and there is no minimal signage directing you there. Bathroom is very small, and tiles are coming apart. Accidentally left my MP3 player in the nightstand charger. When I realized I had forgotten it after I checked out, housekeeping did not return my calls. Likewise, I will not be returning to this poorly run hotel.

Yelp
My sister lives in crossroads so this home2suites is actually my parents home when they're in kc. We always make amazing memories here. Walking distance to restaurants and right off the Streetcar which can take you downtown for free. Rooms are great, people are nice, price is reasonable there is no reason to stay elsewhere in the crossroads. I'm homesick for home 2 suite already !!

Yelp
Great Hotel. Clean, comfortable bed is cozy. Service very welcoming great staff breakfast good. Room is very clean. Hotel is next to some incredible restaurants walking distance and next door wow. Next to the Downtown KC district quiet at night.

Yelp
Not bad. Convenient location and friendly staff. My room was clean and comfortable. Confusing entry to navigate when you arrive for the first time. I was not greeted as a Hilton Honors member, nor did I receive the usual waters and snacks. Overall, not bad though.

Yelp
We loved our stay. The rooms are very clean, and we personally love a kitchenette in our rooms. We were walking distance to great restaurants and were able to store and warmup our leftovers in the room. Staff were incredibly accommodating and gave us a late checkout. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Not sure what type of person needs to validate there ego so badly that they would stay at this Frankenstein of a Hilton. At first look if you can get into the parking lot that you are of course required to pay $13 a day to use you might feel lost. It's hard to find the entrance and the confusion dose not stop with the check in. At over a hundred dollars a night and a Hilton brand I would expect more. For starters not sure they have any rooms with double beds so I hope you like to snuggle up. Speaking of beds as the rock hard mattres reminds me of something you sleep on at in your college dorm room. Speaking of dorm rooms this Hilton seems like it's targeted at people who need mo luxury's in life so Homes 2 Suites delivers. If they took the large refrigerator and dish washer away and put in something useful like small load washer dryer combo they might be close to on track. The staff is a little on the rude side but that is to be expected at anything Hilton. The small beverage shop is extremely over priced as to be expected. Now the one thing that got me the most was the included breakfast. I am a fan of Drury hotels as they offer much more for much less and no stuffy pretentious people needed. The breakfast at Suites 2 Home leaves you wanting..... real food and something not cooked in a microwave!!! I mean what are we barbarians? I mean it feels more like a truck stop breakfast bar than a Hilton. If looking for a place to stay look elsewhere as this Hilton might get you points but it won't give you much more. Maybe a long sleepless night on the uncomfortable single bed if your into that kind of thing.

Yelp
We used Home2 Suites for our wedding block last month as it was very close to our venue. The staff there was easy to work with, always professional when we reached out to them with questions. We dropped off welcome bags for our guests and all were delivered to them. We got no complaints from any guests who stayed there, all were impressed with the hotel.

Terri C.

Yelp
Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and street car. You will notice street noise due to location. Enough room for my husband to work a little and then enjoy pizza and beer in room after Chiefs game. Check out Rockhill next door and Jack Stack near tie train tracks. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Wonderful Suites in downtown Kansas City. Everything is new and modern. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. We expected to stay one night and unexpectedly stayed a second night. They were accommodating and we were glad we stayed.

Dalene T.

Yelp
My friends and I stayed 2 nights during the chiefs super bowl celebration/parade. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Orlando ( front desk and shuttle driver) treated us like royalty. Our friend had some difficulty getting in and out of the shuttle van and Orlando was so kind to help her. While having breakfast our second day we were delighted to meet Olee. She stopped by our table to see if our visit was satisfactory. We told her it was more than that and we visited for a bit. Such a sweet lady.

Yelp
First impression: it's a scam. But how sorrowfully mistaken was I. We were greeted with open arms from Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan. Printers slightly confusing, but overall got the job done. Elevators were double-doored, troubling on a dazed mind. A little too close for comfort with Sir. Papa John. But the garlic knots made for a full nights stomach. Sleek hallway lead to our stunningly designed hospice care center? Toilet hole was an endless pit. There was a pool, good for a stroke or two, but no more. Continental breakfast was a sweet surprise. Lemon water was tummy soothing at all hours. Fortnite Jenga was a new adventure, suitable for all, unless easily turned on. Snack bar fit for a Jack. Beds like the prairies, endless, and too big for cuddling, resulting in no night sweats. :( View of the city smog was phenomenal. Keep it up KC. Home of the champs and friends of the Property Brothers. Thank you Patrick Mahomes for this opportunity and your service.

Yelp
This hotel was very clean, had friendly service, a connected parking garage, offered breakfast, had a full kitchen, etc. My only problems were that the bathroom door didn't lock in the room (not a huge deal but slightly inconvenient) and just a few scrapes on the wall that needed to be touched up. other than that, great hotel and i highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in downtown!

Mandy D.

Yelp
This one was of the best hotels I've stayed at my favorite part was a wonderful girl during breakfast I believe her name was bre. She helped me out with my six kids during breakfast making sure they were all feed and held my daughter so I could make food for myself. She cleared our plates without us asking and had wonderful customer service. Rooms were very clean and check in was smooth.

Marcey S.

Yelp
VERY RUDE. I stayed here for business reasons, was watching netflix with captions on at volume 5 before 1. Keep in mind, this was in Kansas City on a Saturday night. A noise complaint from that level of volume was called in and they threatened to evict me. Never experienced such rude customer service. Won't stay here again.

Caitlin C.

Yelp
Awful service ever since check-in. I have never experienced such rude service for no reason. No care for guests who pay money to stay here. Threatened to evict for calm conversation and TV on at midnight. No prior errors and came to the room yelling about eviction. A hotel in downtown KC that doesn't tolerate talking at night hours... No respect when speaking to me, absolutely awful. I've stayed in many hotels and dealt with countless employees and have never experienced such awful customer service. If you want to go to bed at 8pm with absolute silence in the entire building and love rude employees, this place is perfect for you! 0/5 Stars.
