Absolute favorite cafe in Windermere area, coming there during peak lunch we have to queue several minutes and it was raining when I got there. However, the service was quick and the staff were all smiling which is lovely. Ordered egg & toast with extra mushrooms and avocado, hash browns were so good we finished within minutes, scones and carrot cake for sharing. For coffee I had flat white and it was good with savoury side but with umami flavour. Overall good experience with warm and chill vibes, recommend if you happen to be in the area

Food was amazing, had turkey schnitzel and it’s worth the £17! Hash browns were amazing, would order more if I could! Would come back again! A little too warm inside but other than that, perfect!

Absolutely love coming here! Visited twice now purely for the hot chocolate and cake, best we’ve ever had!! absolutely lovely atmosphere and great staff , very friendly and great service ! can’t wait to come again !!

A beautiful spot for speciality coffee and brunch. The filter was incredibly smooth, the cortado the perfect temperature The brunch was well priced and exquisite despite being quite simple. The hashbrowns were outstanding, they were deep fried and had the smallest amount of spice added to them. That avocado was not Overpowered by lime, but it was actually well seasoned and freshly created. The bread was perfectly toasted. My wife is able to get good gluten-free bread for her bacon sandwich We took home some pastries were out of this world . This place is not just for the locals Or coffee enthusiast but for everyone. Couldn’t recommend it higher - And the staff were so accommodating and so lovely!

We had a fantastic breakfast at Homeground Coffee Kitchen! The maple bacon pancakes was a standout—perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The pancakes were light and fluffy, drizzled with syrup that made them irresistible. And the French toast was absolutely delicious, check out the mouthwatering photos ! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our visit even better. Can't wait to come back for more!

Unbelievable! This place and food are amazing! Even though we had to wait in the queue for a few minutes, it was well worth it! We were blown away at the flavor pairings, quality, freshness, and taste of everything we tried. It was real and tasty food! The Homeground Sarnie had it all! The Toast and Eggs had similar components, but was deconstructed and lighter. The teas and hot chocolates were great! The HASHBROWNS!!

I stumbled on this place yesterday during a whistle stop visit to town. It was full at 9.30 am but I only waited 5 minutes or so to order and my coffee and food was served quickly. Delicious only eggs on toast but definitely the best I've ever had. The greens had a gorgeous light lemon dressing. I saw the tomato dish at the counter and if I ever go back I'd try that too. I took a blonde cake away and ate it on my journey home. Without a doubt the best food I've had in the lakes. I'm glad I don't live nearby because I'd be there every day eating and I'd never get up the hills. Lovely attention by staff too and great coffee. Well done to the owner and staff. Thank you.

Homeground, simply incredible! I would even say it’s my favourite food spot in the Lake District. Staff all so friendly and the food is top notch, never ever have a complaint. My absolute favourite is their dulce de latte - so yummy. Return here on every single trip. Brunch options are quite unique but delicious. Recommend very highly.
