My husband and I recently discovered this place and fell in love! He can't have gluten due to Celiac Disease, and they accommodated him so beautifully and in such a friendly way that we felt like honored guests instead of the problem table due to his food restrictions. We have gone in or ordered out several times and have loved every part of the experience, from the amazing food (our stockings were packed with their packaged foods this year), to the cozy and elevated atmosphere, to the top-notch service at all times. I'm so saddened that this place is closing down. If love and tastiness could save them, they'd be open until kingdom come. The beautiful gluten-free fried chicken, creamed sweet potatoes, pepper jelly pecans, and cheese straws will live rent free in my mind for all time, and if they ever sell anything at a market or open up another project, I know we will give them our support! Thanks for everything. 🩵

Quality over quantity… High quality innovative southern food that doesn’t make you feel at the end like you’ve eaten a whole ox. Every dish we had was nice and had a fresh and light feel to it — even the fried chicken! Great wines by the glass as well as cocktails/mocktails 🍹 🍸 I’ll be coming back to try some of the other dishes. Tried their weekend brunch recently. Did not think it was as good as their dinner.

The food was very nice. Flavor and plating was a delight. I personally did not love the shrimp dish because I was expecting something else. The grilled oysters were hands down the best I have ever had. The prosciutto app I loved. The trout was done very well with just enough seasoning. The apps were a little high, but you are getting the quality, so it works out.

Home.made was a nice experience but some of the food fell flat, and drink service was slow. The grilled oysters are a must have! I really liked my fried chicken plate, especially the picked okra, it was all great, but my wife’s pasta (tagliatelle) dish really fell flat, and we only ordered it because the waitress recommended it… so yeah we were pretty surprised with how uninteresting the flavor was. Unlucky I guess... Should have sent it back but didn’t think about it. And the pimento cheese biscuit/macaron appetizer, you can just skip that, but the grilled oysters we had were AMAZING. The drinks we had were very good, but drink service was really slow after 5:45ish. I think the issue was there was only one guy on the sidecar bar side doing the drinks and waiting tables over there, so every drink took about ten minutes to prepare. Even a simple desert port wine took ages to get. Surprising they have so few workers/bartenders on a busy Saturday night. Our waitress was quite good though. We went early at 5 which was great, as the place was empty and it was easy to get a table. After about 20-30 minutes, the hostess sat two more tables of people literally right next us in the corner, which was a little awkward since the entire restaurant was empty aside from our now packed corner. I would think with covid and all they would try to space people out a little bit, at least while the place is near empty. Also since the place was so quiet I felt like our three tables could all hear everything each other was saying. Anyways, after I said something about weird it was, our waitress moved us to the other corner where we could have a little more privacy which was awesome :) so that was nice.

A+, upscale food that rivals big city 5 star restaurants. Was pleasantly surprised by quality and taste of food. Fast, friendly service. Nice dining area. If any criticism, I'd say they need to move into a nicer building, but that's me being critical. Regarding the portion size of the food it was a little smaller than expected (especially the vegetable plate), but we were actually happy for the size being that we had enough room for dessert without being stuffed. I got the seared salmon, girlfriend got the vegetable plate. Both were outstanding! For dessert, I got the brownie with ice cream. Girlfriend got the fig creme brulee. Both again were A+.

It was very good - their Sunday brunch was pleasant. I gave it 4 stars because the environment is loud and small which hinders the experience if you’re trying to talk with friends or family over a meal. But great food!

Great southern restaurant with a rustic modern backdrop. I had the "$35 special" of chicken thigh greens and squash as my entree and it was delicious. The special also came with salad and Icebox lemon cake. I also enjoyed the deviled eggs. It wasn't cover crowded a down home feel.

Cozy atmosphere, tomato pie is a must try. Extremely amazing staff and a lot of healthy food options.
