Homemade Food Lili

Dining at Lili’s is more than just a meal— it’s a true Albanian experience. You’re welcomed straight into Lili’s home, where his wife prepares everything fresh and homemade, and the dishes are served with warmth and care by Lili and his son. The menu is small, but that’s the beauty of it—every dish is authentic, traditional, and made with love. The flavors are rich, hearty, and comforting, the kind of food that makes you feel instantly at home. We especially loved how everyone shares a table, just like a family meal. Even when we were full, the food was so delicious that we found ourselves wiping the plates clean with bread. From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything about this experience was perfect. This is easily one of the best meals you can have in Albania—simple, authentic, and unforgettable.

Overall experience was so much fun! We had a shared table so we got to meet new people which was fun. The food was very delicious. The host was so funny and he presented the food in a fun way. I recommend to try the wine, the lamb dish and the dolma! He has like limited dishes on the menu so you must keep that in mind.

We had a wonderful evening with Lili and his family. They made it an experience to remember in every way! The food was amazing, the atmosphere wonderful (you get to meet a lot of new people), and the host was even more memorable. Make sure to make a reservation! This place alone makes it worth to visit Berat!!!

This was, without a doubt, our favorite meal during our two weeks in Albania. It was so cool to eat and socialize with so many people from other countries. Lili is the most charismatic host. The food was all delicious.

An amazing experience, definitely my favorite restaurant in the whole albania, Lili is an incredible host, and his wife is a very talented cook, we ordered almost everything from the menu and everything was delicious, could not say which one was the best. The homemade wine is also delicious. Make yourself a favor and make a reservation to eat here.

Food was good but what we loved the most was Lili’s hospitality. He is so kind and passionate about connecting people together. We had an amazing night there eating good food, drinking raki and chatting with the fellow travelers who shared the table with us. It’s a very small place, especially in cold weather, there were only 2 small and 1 large tables. If you want to make sure you get a table, please call beforehand, so that you won’t waste your energy climbing up the stairs!

This place is phenomenal. We attended with a group of 13 and they brought enough for us to take a little from each dish in the menu. It is all homemade in their kitchen and the dining room is their backyard. It is very small but charming. The food was incredible - not 1 bad item. The wine is also delicious, served in a carafe to share. The space was very clean, as well. We enjoyed our time and would return, if able. Make sure to make a reservation.

So many good reviews - nothing else to add. Had a great evening at a shared table with good company and good conversations. Food was great, drinks as well and Lilli is just the perfect host! Also he still has very fair prices.
